You sat in your house in the winter of 1945. You where alone this Christmas unfortunately. You where to far away to travel home to your parents due to the amount of snow. You sat next to the fire with a cup of hot chocolate to try and cheer you up a bit. You wished you had someone to spend Christmas with.while you where away fighting , you fell in love. You had fallen in love with the one and only dick winters.

You picked up a book and read it while you sipped on your hot chocolate.you listened to the fire crackling as you read your book. It took your mind off it a bit but it didn't help your heavy heart.Your cat , Dani , then jumped into your lap. "Hey Dani" you said as you rubbed her stomach as she purred in your lap.Dani your black cat was the only one you would be spending Christmas this year you guessed.

It was around 8 o'clock and you were about to head for a bath when you heard a knock at the door.'weird' you thought. You went to the door and unlocked it. You opened the door to see dick winters standing there."d-dick" you said Instantly smiling. "Hey y/n" he smiled. He pulled you into your arms.Your arms tightly wrapped around him."Good too see you again" he smiled."Good to see you again too dick" you whispered.

Dick sat with you in front of the fire wrapped in a blanket with you. Dani was snuggled up on dick's lap.You where glad not to be alone anymore.He was rubbing little circles on your palm.It felt so soothing to you.He kissed your forehead.He brought your peace.

You slowly fell asleep in dick's presents. He slowly picked you up and took you to bed."Your so beautiful it's unbelievable" he whispered.He placed you in your bed and he lay with you.His arms where wrapped around you.your head rested on his chest.He felt ever so peaceful with you in his arms.Dani lay at the end of the bed.He didn't want to move. He was too comfy and warm.his hand slipped into yours to hold as he fell asleep. He fell asleep knowing you where in his arms safe and asleep.

It was around 10 in the morning before you both woke up.He rubbed down your back as you awoke.for once in your life , you felt complete.And you where with your one and only.
