The moment came when you heard the front gate open. You rushed to the front door and opened it.You saw Ron there with a huge smile on his face."Hey baby" he said."Hey Ron" you said rushing into his open arms.You kissed him as he wrapped his arms around you.Your love was home.he then pulled something out of his pocket.it was a beautiful necklace."For my beautiful girlfriend" he said putting it around your neck."It's beautiful Ron , thank you" you said kissing his cheek.
You both sat eating dinner and caught up on what happened while Ron was away at war.He missed you to much to leave you again.That night he held you tightly in his arms.Your body was molded into his. He finally felt comforted with you being in his arms again.
You pressed little kisses on his neck which he loved.He kissed you softly on the lips. His hands gently rubbed your back."My girl" he said.you lay softly as he fell asleep.he was tired.You where just glad to have him home.

As your eyes fell tired , you heard Ron whispered "thank you for waiting" before falling asleep.You gently pressed a kiss on his chin before falling asleep.
It was now winter and you and Ron where cuddled up next to the fire.You made him some hot chocolate that he loved.he gently held his hand as the fire crackled.It was lovely and warm in the room. Your black cat jumped into your lap."Hey calcifer" you smiled.He curled up in your lap as Ron smiled.He kissed your forehead.You softly held his hand as you rested your head on his shoulder." I missed sitting with you in winter baby" he said."So did I baby , I missed cuddling you and caring for you" you smiled softly.

Moderate mindsets and peaceful values from a mostly safe and privileged life on Earth must now contend and somehow coexist with the strange physiology of a new and unfamiliar body as well as the violent aggressiveness of a predator's mind. To top things off, the pair are about to find themselves struggling with their inner turmoil while swept up by terrible conflicts they know nothing about. Both endure the hardships of their new lives while attempting to understand and make proper use of a mysterious and terse video-game-like System that pops status notifications into their vision from time to time, but initially has no useful interface. Some of the options they are presented with sound enticing, but as with everything else in life, each choice has benefits and drawbacks... Author's Note: This story makes many changes to the original version, and readers of Mantid will find that many things in Mantis are new and different; especially after the first few chapters. I've learned a ton from writing like a madman, and also from the RR community. I appreciate you guys! :)
