It's been over a week since Beca started training and she's getting really annoyed with the whole thing.
"Come on Beca focus!" Jason yelled.
"This is stupid! Can't we just go find my brother already!" She yelled back.
"You need to perfect tracking. It's taking you forever to find chloe and she's not even that far away!" He yelled back.
"She's twenty steps north, forty-five steps west and twenty feet in the air" Beca said after sniffing the air.
"Wait how the hell do you know the exact step number? Even I can't do that." Jason said.
"The hell I know I'm just done with this shit. It's been over a week since my brothers gone missing and I just want him home" Beca said before running off to where chloe is.
Jason followed as they made their way to the tree chloe was sat in. Beca got her down before turning back to the boys.
"I'm not doing this stupid training anymore. I want my brother home." She said sternly.
"Okay. Close your eyes and think of a fond memory between you two" Jason said and Beca copied.
"Okay now remember everything about him. The way he spoke, the way he walked and the way he smelt. You've got that?" He asked and Beca nodded.
"Okay now track him" he said stepping back.
Beca opened her eyes and they were a bright green color. She immediately took off running in a certain direction, the boys following suit, Luke carrying Chloe on his back.
They ran for what felt like ages. Crossing into a different state Beca finally slowed down. She sniffed the air before sharply turning her head to the side. The boys finally caught up with her as she began walking towards an abandoned building.

As they approached, Jason ordered Theo to stay outside with Chloe to keep her safe as the other three went inside. When inside Beca followed her brothers scent to the basement where three other scents were present. As she turned a corner Jesse came into her sight. Her eyes immediately turned back and she paused. She could hear the other three voices not far from where he was sat. He looked as if he hadn't eaten in days. He was beaten and weak. Beca slowly approached him as Luke and Jason covered her back.
"My my my, look who finally showed up" a deep voice said.
Beca let out a deep growl before turning towards the voice.
"Now now puppy, it's not nice to growl" he said emerging from the shadows with a sickening smirk on his face.
"Let my brother go" she commanded, at which he laughed.
"You really think it's gonna be that easy Mitchell?" He asked and Beca became confused.
"How do you know my name?" She asked.
"Ouch, you don't remember me? That's too bad, I'm sure your girlfriend will" he said before snapping behind him.
Two men appeared carrying a passed out Theo and a crying Chloe in and setting them next to Jesse.
"Don't you fucking touch her!" Beca lunges but was stopped by Jason.
"We have to be smart about this" he whispered into her ear.
"What do you want?" Beca asked and he chuckled.
"What do I want? I want everything you took away from me Mitchell!" He yelled surprising everyone.
"I don't even know who you are!" She yelled back.
"Mason, Mason Taylor" he spoke softly and Beca's eyes widened.
"It can't be you, you killed yourself freshman year!" She yelled.
"No I attempted too! Because you took everything from me! I needed out!" He yelled back.

"How did I take everything from you? You were one of my best friends Mason!" She yelled.
"You always one upped me. You always had to be better. And when the one girl I wanted rejected me because of you, I couldn't do it anymore." He said.
"I never tried to one up you, I never tried to hurt you Mason! And I can't control what other people do! Who was the girl anyways?" Beca asked.
Mason just stepped back and pointed towards chloe.
"She is. She rejected me because she feared she'd lose you. Everything was always about you. I loved her Beca!" He yelled making chloe flinch and cry even more.
"That isn't my fault! She's been my best friend since we were babies you can't blame her for not wanting to risk that for someone she barely knew!" She yelled back.
"Yeah well it's time for you to pay the price. You or Chloe. I'll let her go, and Jesse. I'll let all your people go if you stay. I want you on your knees in front of me" he said.
"What would you do it me?" She asked.
"Torture you, make you pay for everything you've ever taken from me. You or her" he said again.
"I stay, they leave right?" She asked.
By then chloe got the tape off her mouth.
"Don't do it! No Beca please!" She yelled before one of masons goons grabbed her.
"Everything will be okay Chlo, everything will be okay baby" she said softly as a tear left her eye.
She walked slowly towards mason before lowering herself onto her knees in front of him.
"Just let them go" she whispered.
They let chloe and Jesse go and Luke and Jason carried them out. Chloe kept screaming trying to get to Beca but Jason wouldn't let her, knowing something bad could happen if he did.
"Well get you back Beca, I promise" he said before they were pushed out the door.
"Now let the fun begin"
