《Kantai Collection: Two Front War》Man Down

"...He's gone?" The fleet admiral asks Felicia.
"Sadly yes... Bismarck sunk his flagship, then Kongou caught him, and they both sunk in each other's arms." Felicia replies. "The Abyssals have agreed to a ceasefire to see if they can find the bodies and bring them to us for a proper burial."
"As a messenger from the Abyssals, we can agree on that statement." The Ru-Class girl standing next to Felicia says in agreement. "And what she described is exactly what everyone saw."
"Well, I'm glad that we're in a ceasefire right now, I'm not sure if any of us can do much after what we saw." The fleet admiral says. "Thank you for taking some time to speak with me miss..."
"Just call me Ru." Ru chuckles. "We don't really have names we go by so we just go by our class." And with that Felicia and Ru leave the fleet admiral's quarters and head into the common room where the others are trying to relax on the couches.
"So you'll be staying here until they can find the bodies?" Felicia asks as they take a spot.
"Well it'll just be me and the princess, but yes." Ru replies. "Our submarines are currently scouting the area where they sunk as we speak."
"I still can't believe it." Vinh says. "Gone just like that... And they had married just a few days ago as well!"
"Hold up, they were married?!" Ru asks.
"He had given her the ring a few days ago." Vinh replies.
"And she was so happy too... They both really thought that it would last." Haruna adds.
"Oh my goodness... I'm so sorry..." Ru says. "I couldn't imagine that running through my mind... The thought of a marriage that was never going to last..."

"We're all mourning... They didn't even have a honeymoon planned out." Linh mumbles. "I'm just surprised that you, the enemy of all people, are doing this for us."
"We may be aliens, but we still feel the same emotions as you guys do." Ru says as Miss Lycoris walks in. "Any luck?"
"Still no reports yet." Miss Lycoris replies. "We don't know how far down they sunk, and we don't know if they went straight down or if they drifted, and for some reason it's harder than usual to locate them."
"I just hope they can be found." Felicia says. "I'm still in disbelief that Bismarck outright murdered him."
"I mean yes we were pretty heated and as you could probably tell we've had lots of- Ahem! -physical contact, but even then we Abyssals still respected his skills." Miss Lycoris replies as she takes a spot on one of the couches. "Of the many admirals we've fought he is the most valiant. He was never one to give up and well, with the girls under his command, we almost got wiped out. There's a reason he went by "Myke Teitoku" you know?"
"I still haven't forgotten the time you kicked him down there." Vinh says, trying to lighten the mood a little bit.
"Ah yes, that..." Miss Lycoris chuckles. "I normally don't stoop that low in a fight, but he left me no choice! He was just too good!"
"You wouldn't believe how many times that's happened to him." Vinh chuckles back, but the lightheartedness is short lived and the two find themselves with Jack and Kongou in their minds once more.
"Say, where's Hiei?" Linh asks.
"She's in her room with Kirishima. They locked the door and I could hear them crying their eyes out." Vinh replies. "I didn't want to disturb them."

"Same here." Haruna says.
"Has anyone cared to look in their rooms?" Ru asks.
"Who, Jack and Kongou?" Felicia replies. "No, not really. We usually leave them alone as it is their rooms, but I guess in these circumstances..."
"It's something pretty touchy yes, but maybe it'll help us find some closure." Miss Lycoris says.
"I guess." Vinh replies as the group decides to look inside Jack and Kongou's rooms. Inside Jack's room there is a large notebook that is full of stories both past and present and inside Kongou's there is a camera that holds many pictures of herself and her beloved.
"These were taken just a few minutes before they headed out to the docks..." Haruna says as she notices the most recent pictures, one of Kongou in Jack's arms and sharing a kiss and another one where he had dipped her down for a kiss.
"And he seems to have written this one just a day before." Ru says as she notices a recently written poem in Jack's notebook, but before she can really read it, Miss Lycoris starts getting something from her communicator.
"Yo-Class to Lycoris?" The voice crackles.
"This is Lycoris Princess, come in." Miss Lycoris replies. "Have you found them?"
"We found them yes, but something is very wrong..." The reporting Yo-Class replies. "We have to get out of here!" And suddenly the communication cuts off.
"Something is very wrong..." Miss Lycoris says to the group. "We need to talk to the fleet admiral right away."

Magitech Awakenings
In this world of Terrapia, myth states that Dragons are caretakers of the chaos wheel, a band of energy that encircles the world, penetrating through the very fabric of the dimension. They tame and convert it, not only to fuel their primal magic, but also to gentler forms that man and beast alike can tap. But now they have faded away, being sighted less and less the past couple millennia. With magic weakening, science has taken root and in many cases merged in a symbiosis with magic. Guppy Bright, a 17 year old young woman, is a technomancer apprentice living in the bustling city of Nolusburg trying to make ends meet. Apprenticed to the enigmatic and somewhat crazy Technomancer Friedrich BrassTuner, she participates in an experiment meant to tap a new rich source of energy. However something goes horribly wrong and a rip in the very fabric of reality opens in the workshop, sucking in her mentor and ejecting a dying white dragon. The dragon, after examining her, takes a gamble and entwines their souls, an act that causes the dragon, Barthurthalomalew Dresnarian Kratomanger Harrowhew Objuslorow, the 5th, aka Batty, to regress into a baby dragon, sealing much of his powers and memories in the process. This act also has profound effects on Guppy, her own magic is now crazily changed in ways no one, least of all her, understands. Guppy is suddenly plunged into a world of mystery, intrigue and politics, where everyone either wants to control, or eliminate her. Armed with little but her courage and unpredictable newfound magic how will she survive and protect herself and those she loves when everyone from techno radicals, magic purists, politicians and guttersnipes are out to get her. And those may be the least of her problems if Batty's fragmented memories are any indicator.
