《Cinder x Male Reader: Volume 2》Graves

Y/N Pov
As Sapphire and I got back, it turns out that Cinder had already struck an idea. We found out that some of our soldiers had found a city that was supporting the rebels, heavily. We captured it as it had little resistance, and not much had happened with them since.
"So Babe, what's the plan?" I asked as Cinder and I sat in the meeting room together. Cinder paced back and forth as I sat, relaxed in a chair.
"Y/N, do you remember that City we captured a while back, Towson?" She asked. I nodded.
"Of course. What about it?" I asked.
"It's Citizens have started joining the uprising. I'm thinking that if we go there, we kill as many of them as it takes, to draw them out. They are in that town, the only question is how many." She said, looking out the window towards the town. I stood up, ready to go.
"Of course, great thinking. How many of us should go?" I asked. She looked at me with a serious face, frowning.
"Everyone" She said.
As we arrived in Towson, we were met with flying bottles, boos, and negative chants. Some even tried to attack but we killed them easily. As the crowd gathered, we stood in the middle waiting for Cinders signal. We all looked to her as she nodded. Then, in the blink of an eye, Mercury and I ran to a random woman in the crowd, and grabbed her. People were obviously scared now, seeing what was about to happen.
We drug the woman to Cinder, who then burnt her alive. Everyone screamed in horror, and some began to cry.
"Okay, we know you're out there! Come out, and no one else must die!" Cinder yelled.

Silence.
Cinder then again, nodded to Mercury and I. We picked out a middle aged man, and did the routine yet again. People were crying out for us to stop, but we obviously didn't.
"You had better come out! I can do this all day!" Cinder said, as I could see how much my 'Death' had changed her. Emerald was the only one that seemed to be sad about our actions.
"Fine" Cinder whispered under her breath. She walked over to a little boy, about 11 years old by my guess. She drug him away from his mothers arms, who was screaming his name. Emerald was about to step in and say something but Raven stopped her.
Cinder stopped and held a flame in her hand. She then brought it deadly close to the boy's head. Right as she was about to kill him, a figure jumped out from the crowd, and ran to Cinder, holding a weapon.
We were all then met with a rebel of our own to fight. I didn't notice Lightning sitting on the side as the crowd had dispersed.
"Your days of Tyranny end here!" A ram faunas said as he attacked me with a scythe. I blocked it and punched him to the ground.
"You think you can beat me? You're nothing!" I yelled as I swung at him, which he dodged.
"I can try!" He yelled as he swung his scythe at me. He connected a few times with it but not near enough. As his aura was low I uppercut him, leaving him on the ground. I then used my Grimm claws to grab his stomach, cutting deep into his stomach. He screamed in pain as I ripped out his intestines, and throwing them on the ground. He fell to the ground shortly after, and died.

I looked over to Cinder, who was handling her match up pretty easily. Mom, Sapphire, and Mercury were as well. But, Hazel seemed to have problems with the dog faunas, that was attacking him. The faunas used a sword of sorts, and was very fast. Right as Hazel had finally pinned the man, Lightning struck him with a bolt of lightning. It was so powerful I could see his skeleton. He finally fell over, as I ran to him.
I picked him up, only to see he was dead.
"Hazel!" I yelled. I then looked at Lightning as she was smirking. Using all my strength, I ran to her and was about to uppercut her, but I was stopped when something blunt hit my head.
"Son, why?" I heard a voice ask that I haven't heard since I was a child. I turn to see Summer, my stepmom.
"Why?" She asked. I was in shock, there's no way this is real, she's dead!
"What...What are you doing here? You're dead!" I said, pointing at her.
"So is Ruby, because of you!" She said pointing back at me. "Your sister, my daughter, how could you do such a thing?" She asked.
I was soon hit by a shock from Lightning. I screamed in agony, gaining Mom, and Cinder's attention.
"Y/N!" They both said, running over to me.
"Everyone, Retreat!" Lightning yelled, as they all ran. Sapphire was able to grab one of them, the dog faunas from before. He resisted but she quickly froze him.
"Son, are you alright? She asked, as I sat up.
"Yeah, I'm just mad I wasn't able to finish the job." I said.
"Well Well Well, look who it is guys" we heard Mercury say. I stood up and walked over to him, as he was looking at the ground.
"Blondie" He said as we all noticed it was Yang. She was laying down with a broken leg apparently, ironic. Mercury seemed to think so as well.
"Well, I'd say we're even now" He said, laughing. She noticed me but before she could say anything, Sapphire froze her. We all looked at her, as she was blowing her finger, like a gun.
"What? She asked.
It seems to have just now hit everyone of Hazels passing. Emerald was sitting by his body, silently weeping.
Cinder knelt down and put an arm around her, in attempts to comfort her. Hazel wasn't really a great friend, but he was one of us, and he always had our back.
"Mercury and I will handle it, you guys go back home." I said looking at Mercury, as he nodded.
Timeskip
Watts, Mercury, and I were digging a grave for the big guy. This is our first major death, but I'm glad it wasn't worse. Mercury took a minute, and wiped the seat off of his head.
"Man, this sucks." He said as Watts and I kept digging.
"Remind me why we aren't giving him a more proper burial." Watts said. I shook my head, as I planted my shovel in the dirt.
"We don't have time, we will mourn afterwards." I said. "Now, give me hand" I said picking up Hazels head. Mercury then grabbed his feet, as we carried him to the grave. We put him in, then climbed back out.
We soon began covering him back up, as the sun set on the graveyard. Okay, now on to interrogating the prisoners

Age of Regression
[Author's Thoughts] Dropped, obviously. Still, it's my first attempt at a novel and I do love what I did with it. Big step towards learning. Far in the past, there was a civilization much more advanced than the one of modern times. Evidence of that time remains, but it is all but shrouded in mystery as there remains no way to decipher it. Currently, normal individuals wage war with guns and smaller machinery, but those who can wield a higher power vary in their abilities. Scales, born upon humans, are a mystery in their origins but are the source of their abilities and their way towards advancement. Although normally powerless, humans have adapted to the scales and thus can connect with the power of the universe, much like the other races that inhabit its various corners. In one of these corners, there exists a human settlement where Lancing follows his father's footsteps to begin his own ascent to power. However, he finds he is far different from his gifted father, whose scales below his eyes were among the purest ever seen, reaching gem-like quality. Far from perfect, Lancing shows no desire to give up and ceaselessly moves forward to reach the peak of the universe. However, he begins to notice that the mysteries of the universe slowly begin to unravel in front of his eyes. To reach the heavens, Lancing must carve his own path.
