Time Machine

"Awe come on Leon! We don't have our entire lifetime for this! It's a one time opportunity!" I state following the moody Leon "maybe later. I've got things to do" he says "oh yea? Like what?" You playfully huff, knowing he trains with Yuffie everyday for the exact same time. "We can hang out later. I promise" Leon spoke softly and patted the girls head with a slight chuckle and walked away.

If only he stayed. And the thought of him leaving you left you in an unbearable state of darkness. Somewhat like depression. Except, this kind of darkness. Was pitch black and there was no sign of any sort of light.

You were stuck; stuck in your thoughts day after day, traveled world after world and so on. Searching for the one place you met Leon; Traverse Town. But every time you went to the place it should've been. It was never there. A world has never moved like that before.

So you flew to each and every world, hearing different things from different people.

One day. You gave up. You landed your ship in a place called Hallow Bastion, the place was peaceful and so you began to think.

Maybe he's here?

Maybe he's dead

Gone?

Moved on?

Married?

Has kids of his own?

The amount of thoughts sent you stumbling around. The built up anxiety inside you made you was to throw everything up. Tears, your guts, anything and everything that made you feel pain.

Summoning your keyblade and slamming it into the ground you shake your head "you're getting over dramatic" telling yourself this you look for a nice place to stay. An old friend of yours who goes by Aerith let you stay with Merlin since half the town was being rebuilt.

"Aerith?" You ask softly and stood up looking at the girl in front of you.

"Yes?"

"Have you seen him?"

"Seen who dear?"

"Leon"

"Unfortunately I haven't.... Yuffie is here though. She might know where he must've gone" she said softly turning to look at y/n's small frame.

"Thank you" standing up the girl runs out of Merlin's house before thanking him. She went around looking for Yuffie before seeing a ninja star fly right past her, cutting a few strands of hair.

Pausing quickly and slowly turning to see The one and only Yuffie with a dark smile and pained eyes

"Yuffie?" Your voice quivered

"He went after you! Of all the people he goes after he still chooses you! Why? How are you so important?!" She yells slamming you against the brick wall behind you "y-yuff-" you were cut off when she slams her fist into your gut "ever since you came into his life that's all it's been. You you you!" She mocks "I shou-" her voice was only silenced and her body gave out and she passed out. You took a moment to recap everything before standing up.

"So that's what happened?" You asked the man in front of you "yes. I only trained with her every day to protect you in a cause like this. To protect you and prove to you I'm not weak" he said "Leon.... I never thought you were weak. And I don't need any sort of protection if it means you're gonna get hurt." You spoke softly and rested your warm hand on his cold cheek. He nuzzled into your palm and kissed it "I love you..... I love you so much" his voice cracked a little, a warm drop of water fell on your palm, since you both were inside you looked into his eyes seeing he was crying "hey.. don't cry okay. Everything will be okay. I promise" she hugged his masculine body and kissed him deeply. He returned the kiss and began to smile.

"Your my squall" you giggled. Ruffling his hair making sure it was messed up

"You're my shorty" he replied pulling you on top of his chest and fell back into the fluffy mattress.

"So what's gonna happen with Yuffie?" You asked

He sighs "I have no idea" he laughed kissing you deeply and you doing the same
