Easter

(Obviously an Easter special. Hope it's okay)

Vanitas wasn't always down for special occasions. Until he met you.

The bright and wonderful y/n. You lit up any bit of darkness in his heart.

Today was Easter. The day the keyblade war ended. The day that all hope was resurrected and renewed.

Little kids ran around Hollow Bastion with little baskets in hand, they searched for the surprise eggs.

Sora, Kairi, Riku; Axel, Aqua and everyone you've known gathered around and talked, it was peaceful, reliving memories and sharing funny secrets. One of the kids ran up to you with a flower crown and three plastic eggs in hand.

"Pretty lady" the child spoke up smiling. You turn and look at the small boy "well hello there" you greeted.

"You're really pretty lady. I want you to have these. You look so pretty you could've stopped any war" the boy flirted playfully. You smile taking the gifts in hand "I don't have anything to give you though.. hm. Take this." Your hands swirled a little as a small charm appeared in hand, you handed it to him then looked over at Sora "you still got that wooden sword of yours?"

Sora gave a kind nod and went to go get it, he soon came back with the wooden sword, you take it and attach the charm to a small hole that rested in the handle. "May your heart be your guiding key" you say giving the boy the sword. He smiles brightly and runs off thanking you millions of times. You giggled and turned to your friends- who where all smiling and trying to act like kids. You roll your eyes, your gaze turned to Vanitas who was a blushing mess, his arms were crossed "van? Jealous??" You asked giggling. He blushes a bit more and scoffs "no!" He replies.

Smiling softly the day began to end, the sun started to set and the day grew colder. Everyone went home so you and Van were home alone.

You walked into the balcony and lean against the railing. "Y/n?" Vans deep voice rang behind you, you turned around seeing Van on one knee, holding a plastic pink Easter egg, inside was a beautiful diamond ring, the moon shown on it perfectly and made the diamond glow brightly.

"Will you marry me?" He asked softly. His eyes were nervous yet full of hope.

"Of course I will" you reply kissing him deeply and hugging him tightly.
