felix was finally released from the hospital and was able to return to school. jeongin still wanted to look after the boy and thought it was best that the two of them met up every morning for something to eat and then they would walk to school together.
"jeongin, you know i don't get hungry in the mornings." felix pouted as jeongin tried to force the boy into eating a piece of fruit.
"please, just one piece. just a bite." jeongin motioned the banana he was eating towards felix.
"noooo." felix protested as his nose scrunched up in disgust.
"how about strawberries? i know you love them." jeongin smiled as he walked next to felix down the block.
"fine, i'll have one strawberry." felix agreed as he took one berry from jeongin.
"one is better than none." jeongin shrugged, but continued holding up his container of strawberries knowing felix would end up taking more than one.
"these are really good," felix smiled happily as he munched away on the first berry, "maybe i'll have one more."
"go ahead." jeongin encouraged happily.
"thank you," felix said shyly as he reached in the container for another strawberry.
this continued on for their remainder of the walk to school. felix would steal a strawberry every once and awhile, and jeongin would just hum happily as he watched felix's face light up from the delicious taste.
"i like seeing you smile felix." jeongin admitted as he wrapped his arm around felix's shoulders.
"stop making me feel short compared to you... when did you get so tall?" felix asked as he lifted his head slightly to look up at the boy.
"i don't know, maybe it just feels different because you're not wearing platform shoes today." jeongin teased the latter.

"HEY! don't tease me for my platforms!" felix yelled at the latter.
"sorry, i forgot short people usually have the most pent up anger!" jeongin spat out before running away from felix.
"WHAT! GET BACK HERE INNIE!" felix yelled as he chased after the boy.
the two boys continued on running until they made it into the building and were forced to stop running through the halls by teachers.
"sorry... sorry..." the boys apologized as they passed by their teachers who were scolding them.
their friends saw them walking in smiling and laughing and even caught a glimpse of felix chasing jeongin. hyunjin turned to changbin with a rather confused expression.
"when did they get so close?" hyunjin asked.
"yeah... i wanna know that too." chan chimed in.
changbin just shrugged, secretly knowing it must've been because he sent jeongin to look after felix that night he spent in the hospital.
"i don't know, but i'm happy for them." jisung cut in with a smile, "i feel like it's been awhile since i've seen either of them look that happy."
is he happier without me? changbin couldn't help but wonder.
"yeah that's true. if jeongin makes lix happy, and felix makes jeongin happy, then it's good for them to be close like that." seungmin added.
"seems like someone is a little jealous though... or multiple someones." minho interjected as he looked over towards chan, hyunjin, and changbin. the three of them had sullen expressions, but changbin's was a bit harder to read.
"i'm not jealous, i'm happy for felix." changbin stated as he began to walk off to his class.
once he distanced himself from the boys, far enough so that they couldn't hear him, he mumbled to himself, "i just wish i could make him as happy as jeongin seems to."

"what about you two? want to explain why you look so shocked, yet extremely disappointed?" minho questioned hyunjin and chan.
"i'm not! i'm happy for him!" chan spoke up rather loudly.
"happy for who?" felix asked as he and jeongin walked over to the group.
everyone just stared in silence, waiting for chan to answer the boy. minho just laughed to himself as everyone seemed so awkward.
"you lix." minho said as he placed a hand on the boy's shoulder.
"me? why?" felix questioned.
"because you seem happy," hyunjin said softly, "with jeongin."
"happy... with jeongin?" felix asked, his expression showing how confused he was.
"yeah, what do you mean 'with jeongin?'" jeongin added.
"nothing... nothing... forget it." hyunjin shook his head as he then walked away from the group, leaving jeongin and the rest of the group to be confused on the entire situation.
it seemed as though minho was the only one who really saw the boys for who they really are. he just shook his head in disappointment not understanding how people couldn't see that chan and changbin were clearly not on good terms currently because they both like felix, and that hyunjin is obviously crushing on jeongin.
"you all are so painfully dumb, why am i friends with you guys?" minho questioned aloud.
"watch who you're calling dumb! i notice the same things you do." seungmin said as he narrowed his eyes at the latter.
"notice what things?" jisung asked innocently.
"oh ji, please shut up." minho said in a sweet tone even though he was saying something a bit rude.
"hey, don't be a meanie!" jisung hit the boy in the arm as he stomped his feet.
"i'm with jisung... what things?" felix asked.
"maybe it's better you guys don't know." seungmin said as he looked over to chan who was clearly nervous.
"it's definitely better that you don't." chan mumbled as he walked away from the boys.
"what was that about?" felix questioned, worried for chan in that moment.
"one day you'll find out, but right now it's not my place to say." minho stated as he grabbed onto jisung's hand and began walking towards their first class.
"seungmin?" felix turned to the boy with doe eyes. seungmin just shook his head with a frown, knowing it wasn't his place to say anything.
"let's just go lix..." jeongin said as he latched onto the saddened boy and began walking him to class.

A mercenary that happens to be a princess of fae, but prefers to stay in a well-known établissement instead of staying in the Sidhe. Moira. Being half a dragon doesn't really help getting along with snobbish elitists at her mother's court. Like all sidhe she likes to strike a good deal... Which has led into many a disaster... Though she always tends to get by, especially when she gets home to the Tavern on the edge. The mentioned établissement is run by the formidable Barkeeper and jack of all trades Tora, who happens to have a very interesting past. Which involves more than one sinister secret... Now add to the mix a totally clueless elven girl - a mortal, not a fae- on the run. Lunara. She has unknowingly struck a deal with the devil - quite literally. Now unable to handle the consequences on her own she enters the tavern on the edge. An epicenter for magic and the only place where she might find help. She talks Moira into helping her out. A race against time begins as the deal's symbols appear on Lunara's skin. The journey leads to the dwarven empire, the sidhe and wherever the crossing leylines under the tavern may lead. This fiction belongs to the same universe as Ancient Blood. English is not my native language, so please don't be harsh.
