changbin returned the hospital the following day after school was finished. the other boys wanted to go too, but changbin asked them to give him and felix at least an hour alone.
when changbin got there, he saw felix's grandmother waiting outside of the room. this immediately made changbin's mind fill with worrying thoughts.
"what's wrong? did something happen?" changbin questioned, anxiously awaiting a response.
"nothings wrong, i just knew school ended for you and I want to speak to you before you went in to see felix." she explained to changbin sweetly.
"speak to me?" he asked nervously.
"yes, is there something wrong with that?" she stifled a laugh, noticing how anxious she had just made changbin.
"no, no of course not!" changbin insisted.
"good, then let's talk!" she smiled at the boy as they began walking around the halls of the hospital, "felix has told you i am sick right?"
"he has mentioned it briefly in the past. how are you doing though?" changbin responded, hoping for some good news, but wasnt really expecting any.
"not well at all," she spoke honesgly, "i think felix knows that, but he just doesn't want to accept it."
changbin looked at her as he nervously fiddle with his thumbs. he then stared at the ground, eyebrows furrowed as he got lost in thought.
"i can tell you wanna ask something, but you're scared to. don't be afraid, it's okay." she encouraged changbin.
"a-are you dying?" he hesitantly asked.
she nodded in response, "i'm very sick changbin, i have been for a long time. i've accepted my fate, but felix has not.
i'm all he has changbin, he doesn't want to have to accept losing me too."
changbin just nodded back to show he understood. he couldn't imagine losing people the way felix was used to losing those he cared about.

"it's going to be hard for him once I die," she began to speak again, "he's gonna shut you out. he's gonna cry a lot, whether it's in front of you or when he's all alone.
his nightmares will get worse. so much worse. he doesn't talk about them anymore, but I still hear his streaks during the night.
as for his depression, it will get so much worse. if you think you've seen felix through at his lowest point just because of right now... you'd be mistaken."
this instantly began to worry changbin. he saw no hope for felix based off of everything his grandma was saying.
"why are you telling me all of this?" changbin asked with a saddened expression plastered on his face.
"because... and i don't wanna put a lot of pressure on you... but it's because i believe you're the only person who be able to make him stay." she explained.
"make him stay?"
"look where we are changbin," she said in reference to the hospital, "felix is already struggling to stay alive, but i know you can help him."
"but what if i can't?"
"then you can't, but if you can't then no one can." she stated with a frown forming in her face, "and it won't be your fault if you can't reach him. it is ultimately up to felix if he wants to stay alive."
"i really do want to help him, but I don't know how." changbin admitted, seeming a bit defeated.
"unfortunately, i don't know either. if I did, felix would not be in the hospital right now.
my advice to you changbin is to love him the way you did last year. that was the happiest i had ever seen felix."

"then it's a good thing i am still in love with him." changbin smiled shyly.
"i know you are, it's obvious" she playfully hit the latter.
"is it?"
"very," she laughed, "even if you try to push him away, everyone besides felix himself will be able to see that you are still in love with him."
"i won't make the mistake of pushing him away again though." changbin spoke honestly.
"good, now I know I'll be leaving my good grandson in good hands." she smiled as she placed her arms around changbin to give him a warm embrace.
"but... who will he live with once you're gone?" changbin questioned as they pulled out of their quick hug.
"actually his mother has already planned to come and move to korea to be with him... but felix doesn't know that yet so please give me time to tell him." felixs grandmother explained.
"okay, i won't mention it." changbin agreed.
"thank you changbin... for everything."
"no need to thank me," changbin smiled, "is it okay if I go in and see him now?"
"yeah of course, go ahead!" she encouraged as she then watched changbin happily skip into the room and rush to felixs bedside.
the way felixs face lit up whenever changbin arrived was something she could never forget. all she ever wanted was for felix to be happy, and she knew he would be as long as he had changbin.

The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?

Another World's Homunculus
Ellis Murrin died an unexpected death, but before he could experience the sweet bliss of eternal rest, a God-like being whisked him away. The God told a tale of another world in grave jeopardy and the need for a hero (or several heroes) to go there and save the people. It was looking to be a typical story of transmigration when suddenly, something unexpected happened. Now, he finds himself standing in the middle of an ancient tomb, with a lineage that wasn’t exactly normal and a body that wasn’t entirely human. Reincarnation of a Businessman
A businessman is betrayed by those he holds dearest and reincarnates into a mystical world of cultivation where the power of a single person can split the heavens. However, his reincarnation does not go smoothly... ******************** This is a xianxia (cultivation/progression fantasy) story which fuses a lot of western fantasy elements. This story includes POV's of different characters which are all going to be developed in the future and will have an effect on the story. The novel is named after the reincarnation of the businessman which serves as a cataclysm in the world of cultivation, and while the MC uses some of his business knowledge, this novel is not centered around the MC creating a business empire. I plan to extend the story into at least 2 books, both taking place in the same world. ******************** Updates will happen once every 2 days, but this is often going to change to once every day or once every 3 days because I am not currently writing full-time, and neither is my editor.

Trying being the key word because as soon as Hayato was in [K.O] he and every other player online were ‘transported' into [Kismet] by a religious cult that wanted to try and enter virtual reality. After reading the rest of what 10 year old me had written: i had came to a conclusion that it had too many plotholes, unexplained important information and a lack in character behaiviour so i have re-written the entire story and so a lot of things have changed compared to the first one i have posted.
