jisung, felix, and jeongin all darted towards the tallest rollercoaster at the park. felix and jeongin were beyond excited, while jisung was desperately trying to hide his fear.

"we sit in threes on this ride so it's perfect!" felix cheered happily.

"where should we sit? what do you think is scarier, the front or the back?" jeongin asked, practically bouncing up and down since he was so excited.

"i think the middle is good..." jisung said nervously.

"the middle? the middle is the least scary part though." jeongin frowned.

"n-no... the middle can be really scary!" jisung said, making it sound convincing only because he was so scared.

"you do seem terrified of it." felix laughed slightly.

"hey! i'm not terrified of anything!" jisung shouted.

"except for heights," minho cut in as he walked over, "are you sure you wanna go on that, bub?"

"im sure! stop saying i'm scared of heights!" jisung yelled at his boyfriend angrily.

"so you want me to start lying? okay... jisung is not in love with me, jisung is not scared of heights, jisung doesn't like wearing mini skirts." minho smirked as he sent a wink towards jisung.

"HEY THAT LAST ONE IS PRIVATE!" jisung got even more riled up, but that's exactly what minho wanted.

"oops." minho shrugged with a smug look on his face.

"jisung, if you're scared of heights, don't go on this ride." felix said with a gentle voice that soothed jisungs worries.

"but you guys need a third person." jisung pouted, not wanting to ruin the ride for jeongin and felix.

"i'll go with them." changbin stepped up, putting his arm around felixs shoulders.

"are you sure?" jisung asked.

"yeah, i have to protect bokkie and i don't trust you to do so." changbin stated with a smile.

"hey, i could protect him!" jisung was very adamant about this.

"you can't even protect yourself." minho said as he jabbed jisung in the side to tickle him.

"stop it," jisung laughed, "that tickles!"

"then be ready to defend yourself!" minho said with a menicing smile as he wiggled his fingers to show he was going to tickle jisung even more.

"MINHO STOP IT!" jisung yelled as he began running around the amusement park, minho chasing closely behind.

"well those two are back in their own world. it was nice to see them out of it for a moment." chan laughed, making the others let out slight chuckles as well.

"they're addicted to eachother." hyunjin scoffed.

"yeah, but it's cute." felix cooed.

"they really are soulmates." changbin added.

"yeah i've never met two people who annoy me as much as those two. they're perfect for eachother!" seungmin said sarcastically.

"oh please, you love both of them." chan shot back at the latter.

"shut up! i can love them from a distance." seungmin retorted as he rolled his eyes.

"is anyone else going on this ride?" felix asked.

"well the three of us could sit behind you guys, what do you say chan and minnie?" hyunjin asked, feeling slightly scared about the ride, but ultimately wanting to give it a try anyway.

"i think it could be fun!" chan smiled.

"alright, if you do it, i'll do it." seungmin shrugged.

"perfect!" chan smiled as he placed his hands on seungmins shoulders and rubbed his thumb into them.

seungmin felt the red hue grow on his face and there was no way he could stop it. he saw jeongin open his mouth slightly to say something, but the death glare seungmin shot at him shut up him right away.

"you okay innie?" hyunjin asked, noticing jeongin almost speaking to shutting his mouth very quickly.

"fine, just lost my train of thought!" jeongin assured the latter.

"are you all together?" the worker asked the six boys.

"yep!" chan stepped up to be in charge.

"okay, fill in the empty rows." the worker instructed them.

"well the back is taken, so the front it is!" jeongin spoke up as he filled into the first seat of the front row.

beside him was felix, and changbin sat on the other end. behind those three was hyunjin behind jeongin, and seungmin in the middle of hyunjin and chan.

as the ride began to start, the tracks clicked and the fear started to rise in the six boys.

felix began tapping nervously on the safety bar as the rollercoaster began to slowly climb up towards one of the many peaks.

"are you nervous?" jeongin asked felix.

"when am i not nervous?" felix laughed.

"true... let me rephrase it, are you scared of the ride?" jeongin questioned, watching felix tap his hands.

"maybe a little bit now that we're actually on it." felix shrugged, "are you scared?"

"nah, not really." jeongin stated, "i like rollercoasters."

"oh... okay..." the nerves were really starting to set in now for felix as they continued to get closer and closer to the top.

changbin watched felix tap away nervously, making him want to grab the latter and hold him close to protect him.

jeongin and felix continued talking, and changbin fought with himself internally about whether or not to grab felixs hand.

"ahh we're getting closer..." felixs voice was a bit shaky, making changbin immediately grab felixs hand and hold it in his own.

felix turned away from jeongin and stared right at changbin with wide eyes.

changbin smiled at felix, "just look at me."

"wha-" before felix could finish his sentence, the ride hit its peak and went crashing back down.

felix let out a loud shrill that make changbin laugh. he felt felix squeeze on tighter to his hand and move closer to his side.

felix then wrapped his arms around changbin's, holding on for dear life it seemed.

the ride continued on that way, jeongin third wheeling, but not caring in the slightest.

when he looked over to changbin and felix, he noticed felix had his eyes tightly shut and his lips slightly pursed.

there was something about the way felix was clinging on to changbin and the way changbin did not remove his eyes off the boy who was so desperately trying not to be afraid beside him.

jeongin smiled in between screams, happy felix was finally getting what he wanted and truly deserved.

the ride ended quickly and the boys all stumbled off with messy hair and shocked faces.

"that was insane! let's do it again!" hyunjin cheered, loving the thrill he experienced.

"maybe you guys can, felix and i will sit this one out." changbin said as he helped felix off of the ride, his eyes still shut.

"felix, we're off the ride." changbin said sweetly, cupping the boys face in his hands.

slowly, felix opened his eyes and noticed how close changbin's face was to his own. he felt the latters warm breath hit against his skin, making every inch of him tingle.

it had been so long since he had kissed the boy, his lips were craving it immensely.

"let's go find something a bit easier for you to enjoy, okay?" changbin suggested, backing away from felix's face and instead, intertwining his fingers with the latters.

"ferris wheel?" felix suggested, trying to get the words out that we're stuck in his throat due to the nerves changbin evoked in him.

"ferris wheel it is." changbin smiled, walking off with felix and paying no mind to the four boys they left behind.
