"Stay safe you two, hopefully I'll be able to visit!" Leo said as he ruffled their heads, he stayed at Cocoyasi island for at least almost a week & has been keeping things in order... sadly he can't stay forever
"Do you have to go...?" Nami asked sadly, he nodded his head
"Sadly, I'm sorry." Nojiko motioned him to crouch down & so he did, she took his sunglasses off & put them on his hat
"What did we learn?" he sighed but then chuckled as he sat down
"I need to build up my self confidence by not wearing my glasses."
"&~?"
"& just be myself, not an actually stone hearted person." both the girls giggled as they jumped up & hugged "I'm guessing I'm right?"
"Indeed!" they pulled him down & planted a kiss on both his cheeks, he blinked a few times before chuckling as a blush tinted his cheeks "Please visit often, Lyon-san."
"I'll try." he hugged them again as Sil caressed them with his body "Well, we're off." he waved one last time before grabbing Sil, spreading his wings & flying off "I wonder, should we go back home or visit a few more islands?"
"PUT ME DOWN!!!"

"Got any 4's?"
"Hmm, go fish." Thatch sighed as he picked up a card from the deck, its been rather... lonely & quiet for the Whitebeard Pirates without Leo being there, they heard in the newspaper that he was spotted in the East Blue. Whitebeard let out a sigh then coughed into his hand, he felt a presence beside him but thought none of it... until--
"I thought you promised me you'd get better, pops." his eyes widened as he looked down & saw it was Leo, without his sunglasses on
"L--" he put his finger to his lips & winked at pops
"Not to loud, I want to surprise them. & I wanna prepare myself from the hurricane of tackle hugs I'm gonna get." Whitebeard nodded

"& how do you plan on doing that?" he suddenly pulled two, really creamy, pies from behind him as he slowly walked over to Marco. Thatch looked up from his cards & his eyes widened in shock, he was going to scream but Leo mouthed out to him to shush
"Whats the matter-yoi? Is there something behi--" & that was when the two pies smacked collided with his face, leaving a big mess & Leo laughing his butt
"AH HAHAHA!! You should see your face!!!" he was laughing so hard he started crying, everyone looked at him in shock, hell, even Whitebeard was "Whats the matter? Shocked that I changed over the few weeks?"
"Hell yeah chief! You should leave more often!" he raised an eyebrow
"I'll be going then." before he could fly off, Jozu, Thatch, Marco & Haruto grabbed onto him "I'm joking I'm joking! I just got here as well!" they let go & they all gave me a group
"What changed you? Hell, your not wearing your glasses-yoi!"
"You have heterochromia? Why didn't you tell us?" he looked away & scratched his arm
"Its kinda personal, plus, children actually made me more confident with my unnatural eyes." he chuckled to himself as he sat down & lit a cigar "They were so sweet, a little boy & two girls. They're what made me... me."
"So... you'll be wearing your sunglasses less & less then you usually do?" he shrugged
"Heh! Sure!" they cheered
"Hey, I meant to ask but, where is Silver?" he looked around before pointing at a boat that was just slowly floating with the currents, if you looked closer you could see Sil hunched over... & was ready to hurl
"What happened to him?"
"Did you know he doesn't like to fly?"
Lyon POV
I was tapping my foot to the beat as everybody celebrated that I was back, I blew a puff of smoke out when I noticed that Thatch brought out what seemed like a karaoke machine
"Hey Leo!"
"… *sigh* What?"

"What do I get out of it?" I ask with a smirk, he tapped his chin until he got an idea
"I'll make you an extra batch of French toast with extra syrup." that got my attention, I look back at him & saw he was smirking at me
"Fine! For a week?" he nodded

I actually started sweating as I through the microphone on the ground, everyone cheered & I grinned to myself. I jump from the deck to where the drinks were & took a giant swig of Smirnoff, I then felt someone ruffle my head
"I didn't know you could sing that well, my son!" I smile up at Whitebeard & shrug
"There's a lot of things you don't know about."

"You don't wanna know." I was going to walk away but he stopped me
"If you ever need to talk, anything at all, you can always come to me. You know that right?" I sigh to myself
"Yeah I do." I then hugged him & he hugged me back
"Also know that I love you so dearly, so close to my heart I'll never let you go."
"That means a lot to me, pops."

His long time dream, earned by his own blood and sweat, to start his own commercial genetic company is finally coming to fruition. Lucas's car never left the banks parking lot and Lucas was never seen again in our world. This is a rewrite of "A Broken World." It is basically the same story, just a thousand times better and with decent length chapters!
