Lyon POV
I sighed in annoyance as I heard Ace's scream from across the deck as he was thrown off the ship, I look overboard & see that Namur had jumped into the water to save him. He was on his knees coughing up water & once his eyes landed on mine, I look away
"Ah, I'm getting sick & tired of this. How many times has he been kicked off the ship now?"
"If I'm correct, over 100 times now." I groan & face palm "Was he always like this-yoi?" I ran my free hand through my hair & sigh a bit
"You could say, sure he never gives up & he always stood his ground but right now its getting straight up ridiculous." the others nodded, Dimitri was currently working on my arm & putting some new installments in them
"Okay, clench your fist & slowly open it." I did so & a light emitted from the palm of my hand, kinda like ironman "Alright it works! The light coming from your hand is somewhat of a plasma cannon/laser, your smart enough to know how to deploy the laser." I roll my eyes
"Uh huh." I lift my hand up & stretched my fingers a bit before & soon enough I was able to fire from it, but that cause me to be sent flying back "Whoa!!"
"I forgot to mention, it might have an extra kick to it!!" I get up from the wreckage & raise an eyebrow at him "Maybe I should have said that first."
"You don't say!" he shrugged, I roll my shoulder & look down at the light that slowly died down from the palm of my metal hand "This is going to take awhile for me to get use too." I muttered as it finally disappeared
"Maybe you should use it against fire fist when get gets close to pops! He can be your target practice!" I heard Thatch yelled, I hum
"That's not a bad idea." I say as I sat back down next to them again
"But don't overuse it! Use it to much it'll eventually heat up & might accidentally burn you, or worse... explode!" I look at him & then at the arm, then at Marco
"Get that off him now."
"Now now Marco, its not that ba--" he was to late, Marco was by my side & was desperately trying to get the blasted thing off me, but it was only hurting me
"Ow ow ow! Stop! Your making it worse you fucking idiot!!" I literally karate chopped him in the head & he fell backwards "This is attached to my shoulder you fucking moron!" I face palm with a sigh, I look down & see Thatch thrashing him around

"Are you trying to amputate his arm again you dingus!" I roll my eyes & they landed on the retreated form of Ace, I look at pops & he motioned for me to follow him, I sigh & hang my head low "Chief? You all goods?"
"Somewhat. God, I'm on babysitter duty, Marco, next time you see Ace... give him a mum talk. You seem to be better at lectures then me, all I do is make him cry." was all I said as I made my way towards the place he left
"Hah?! Whats that suppose to mean?!"
"It means your like the mama bird." Izo said to him, Dimitri nodded without taking his eyes off the think he was tweaking with
"Mm hmm." I turn the corner before leaning against the wall with a sigh, Ace was slumped against the railing while sitting down
"Sulking again?" I ask, he looked up at me
"How can you stand being here? I find it repulsing." I hear him say, I chuckle & look back over at the crew. I sweat drop when I noticed that Marco had Thatch in a choke hold & was messing up his hair, everyone around watched with laughter
"Jeez, how should I answer that? I do find it repulsing, I do find it annoying but they're the only people I call family. I love them with all my heart, & they love me. Thanks to them, or more like Marco, I'm alive & healthy, breathing." I take a deep breath & smile "I just, love being here. Why can't you get the jest & love it too?" he scoffed
"Family? Yeah right! They're nothing but a band of idiots!" I push myself off the wall & walk over to Ace before crouching down to his height, I look him dead in the eyes before flicking his forehead
"Then I guess I'm an idiot as well." I stand up & as I begin to walk away I clench my fist & the light emitted from the palm of my hand again "Think twice before attacking Whitebeard again, cause I'll be using you as my target practice."
"Your not serious... are you?" I chuckle darkly & blast at him, it just barely missed leaving a giant hole where I hit
"I missed on purpose, but I won't miss a second time." I see him gulp, I couldn't help but laugh "But I'm serious. You have minimal choices now. We either drop you off on an island with nothing or you stay here & embrace the mark of Whitebeard, like all of us."

"Is that really all my choices?" I hear him mutter
"Well, either that or you kill yourself... or by us." I shrug "You decide you own fate, not me!" & with that I walked away, I saw Sil sitting at a table with his arms crossed & a disappointed look on his face "What? What did I do?" he merely shook his head & looked away
"Nothing nothing. Nothing is wrong." I narrow my eyes at him
"Don't give me the cold shoulder." he rolled his eyes, I sigh "I'm not good at comforting people okay (I feel ya man)! Give me a damn break for fuck sakes!"
"I'm sorry, its just, don't be so harsh on him. He's a young adult now."
"Well maybe if he stopped acting so immature like a child I will. I wasn't going to be so mean to him but since he's targeting pops & won't leave him alone, I might as well be the person to put him in his place." I say as I punch my fist
"Well can you do it in a less destructive way?" he asked
"No promises!" in the corner of my eye I notice that he was going to smash pops' head with a giant axe, I sigh & without looking I lift my right arm up & shot him off the ship "Whoa! Without looking! I'm good~" I cheered
"Nice!" I hear Dimitri yell
(Third Person POV)
Like Leo said, every he caught Ace trying to kill Whitebeard he would ready his aim before firing & shooting him off the ship or into the wall, when doing so the crew would cheer & he'd get a pat on the head from Whitebeard & a smack in the head by Sil. Leo would roll his eyes before asking someone to go save the idiot before he drowned
This went on for weeks, then that turned into months… Leo was actually getting tired of it. He chugged down a cup of sake before slamming the mug down on the table & sighing, he lit a cigar & blew the smoke out before looking over at Ace. They were currently celebrating for who knows what, Leo forgot, & Ace was sitting in his usual pity spot
"Marco. I'm full on serious, please talk to him! It was fun but now its getting real fucking annoying!" Marco rolled his eyes
"That's just the alcohol ta--" Leo cut him off by grabbing the collar of his shirt & yanking him towards
"No its not. Make him change his mind or else I'll be forced to do something unimaginable." as soon as he let go, Marco sprung to his feet & unwrinkled his collar "& I'm not joking."
"Okay okay, calm down-yoi."
"I can't calm down!!" he yelled while flipping the table over
"I can tell." & he walked off, Leo took a deep breath before walking off to his room while smoking the rest of the cigar. He tiredly opened his door before closing it behind him & slumping down onto his wheely chair, he set his cigar down in an ashtray & look over at the contents that were displayed on his desk
"Messy, messy, useless, messy, what hell is this? Mes-- hello." he noticed a photo of his younger self so he picked it up & sighed happily when he saw it was his 7 year old self with the crew & the AKAS 17 years ago. Next was him, Shanks' crew & the people of Dawn Island & Luffy, then the mountain bandits with the ASL & lastly the people of Cocoyasi Island with Nami & Nojiko "Oh man, memories."
He set them down once he heard a knock on the door, he merely shouted a "come in", thinking it was Sil, Marco or Thatch but was wrong when he heard a familiar voice
"Hey, Leo…" he blinked a few times before spinning on his chair & seeing Ace
"What a surprise, is Marco done talking with you?" Leo asked while crossing his legs & continuing smoking his cigar
"Y-Yes, he did…"
"So have you finally made your mind up? I'm done with your immature attitude 24/7." Ace nodded
"I have. I'm deciding on joining Whitebeard's crew." Leo's jaw dropped as his cigar fell from his lips
"You serious? Like, 100% serious?" he asked while standing up & taking a few steps, Ace nodded & scratched the back of his neck
"Mm, I apologize for acting like I did its just--"
"Whoo hoo!!" Ace jumped when he saw Leo cheering, he (Leo) wrapped his arms around Ace's neck before he subconsciously kissed his cheek & ran off "Yosha! New crew mate! Now I don't have to deal with a child who tried killing pops every 5 seconds!"
"Yeah!!"
"Yeah…?" Ace just stood their confused with a large blush on his face
"Wha…?"
(I apologize for being gone I had exams, I also had writersblock & also I was just full on lazy)

Debut: the day every young gentleperson of age gathers to receive their Spirit Blessing and shift for the first time into their second form. Except for those who don't. Beatrice's worst fear is to be one of the unlucky few trapped perpetually in a human body, cut off from the magic of the spirits and unfit for any respectable pack or pride. But when the time comes to face her fear, the outcome is one she never could have imagined. Be warned, this story is some highly experimental fluff—an unapologetically girly, unrelentingly bisexual, Regency/Victorian-ish fantasy mish-mash. It does have a dark side, though, so don’t come in expecting all sunshine and roses. Worthy of note, given the reputation of shifter stories: there will be no explicit sex in this tale. There will, however, be lots of polyamorous romance, necromancy, portal magic, capricious spirits, elemental mages, an unconventional take on shifters and a highly ordered society built around their existence.
