《The boy next door (an Impractical Jokers Fanfiction)》Chapter 14.

I woke up around 9. Q had sent me a text at 5 saying he's already on the bus. I looked through my window, at his house. It felt empty. I texted him.
"Who's going to feed you're animals when you are gone?" I asked
"They will manage." He responded
"For a month?" I asked
"Ok maybe not. Can you head over there sometime to check up on them? Key's under the mat."
"Sure."
Q wouldn't have just forgotten to make sure his animals were taken care of while he was gone. He just wanted me to go into his house. Was there a surprise in there for me? I hope so.
I brushed my hair and put on my jeggings with a dark green belt. I put on a dark purple t shirt and grabbed my slippers. I went downstairs. I made myself some bacon and eggs. My mom left me another note. Working from 8-5, I love you. It said. I poured myself some coffee and sat on the couch. Another boring day alone. I decided to get out and not stay home alone. I grabbed my black Chanel purse and put my wallet and phone in it and locked up the house. I drove over to Panera and ordered myself some lunch. There was a girl walking by herself, she seemed very lonely.
"Hey, do you want to sit?" I asked
"Oh uh sure." She sat down across from me
"I'm a little new here. I used to live in Brooklyn." I said
"Oh I've been living here my whole life but I'm so shy, that is seems like I'm new." She started eating her salad.
"So what's your name?" I asked
"Claudia."
"That's so pretty. I'm Zoey." I said

"Well nice to meet you. Are you here alone?"
"Yea well my parents are working and my crush whom I hang out with is... uhm.. On a trip. So I'm alone yea."
"Oh a crush? Does he go to your school?"
"No well I haven't started school here yet."
"Wait hold old are you?"
"18 I'm a senior." I said
"Oh I just got out of high school." she said
"Lucky."
"So tell me more about your crush."
"Do you know the show Impractical Jokers?"
"I've watched a few episodes, why are you changing the subject?"
"Well my crush is Brian Quinn."
"Wait you actually know him!? No way!"
"Yea haha."
"That's so cool, so you two hang out?"
"Yea." Her phone rang.
"Oh shoot. I have to go."
"Aw ok. Can I get your number?" I asked.
We exchanged numbers and she left. I decided to go back home too. I drove back home and set my bag in my room. I turned on the tv and a documentary called Black fish was on. I decided to watch it till the very end. It was gross what I saw! I decided that from now on I will become a Vegetarian. The time was 4 and my mom would be here in an hour, I texted her.
"Mom just watched this documentary about animals and I wanna be vegan. Don't buy any more food that comes from animals! Including milk." She texted me back.
"Bullshit. You will go back eventually but I'm still going to buy meat because your father and I aren't vegan. You may buy your own food then."
"Fine oh and I need to go back to school shopping."

"Go right now, before the store closes. I'll be back home and I'm making dinner soon. A non vegan meal though. There might be spaghetti but that's it."
"Love you ok."
I grabbed my bag and drove to the nearest store. I bought some notebooks, pens, pencils, a binder, art stuff (because I love drawing), a new black backpack and some other things. I went to check out.
"Claudia?" I asked
"Oh, hi Zoey."
"You work here?" I asked
"Indeed. Is this all?"
"Uh yea."
"So listen when you told me about you hanging out with Brian, I was wondering if you could get Sal and I together?"
"I don't know. I'm not supposed to tell anyone I know them."
"Didn't he tag you in pictures?"
"Yeah but still. So $25.60 right?"
"Huh? Oh..yea." I handed her the money.
"Thanks."
I grabbed my stuff and drove home. I opened everything up and put it into my new backpack and put it on my chair upstairs. I so forgot to buy things for school. Oh shit my schedule. I need to get on top of things. I went online and printed it out and shoved it in my backpack. My mom was downstairs and cooking. I went downstairs.
"Hey Miss Vegan." she said
"Really."
"It's a joke."
"If you don't support my life changing decision then I don't support your jokes." I said
"Fine. I made some veggies, potatoes and spaghetti just for you."
"Thank you." I grabbed a seat and started eating.
"Being vegan is hard you know."
"I will make it! Don't worry."
"Mhm."
I put my plate in the sink and went upstairs. Life is so boring with Q. What did I ever do before him? Oh yeah that's right stalk him on social media and watch Impractical Jokers all day. I decided not to do that because it will only make me miss him. I decided I needed to sleep. So I did, I went to sleep around 9.
