Weeks past, and news of the break up spread through out the school like wildfire. Most were in shock but others, weren't. Those were the people that knew of Jieun's history and the countless hearts she has broken.
But this, this was a first. The female got dumped first, instead her dumping him.
She trudged through the halls, still seeing the judging eyes on her. It was like she had a bunch of targets on her or something. Jieun grumbled under her breath while plopping herself in her desk.
From her peripheral, she saw Chenle smiling and laughing freely amongst his small group of friends. He looked so happy. Happier than he's ever been with her.
Why couldn't she bounce back like that? She was only using him in the first place.

"Why are we at a flower garden Ji?" Asked Chenle, confusion lacing his words.
Even though he was confused, he had to admit the place was gorgeous. With all the colorful and vibrant colors decorating the place. It made him really appreciate mother nature much more than he did before.
"To cheer you up, silly. I know you may seem all happy cheery at school but, I know you're not. At least not that much. " Jisung explained.
To be fully honest, Chenle didn't expect for Jisung to notice that he wasn't all that happy. He thought he hid it quite well too. Guess not.
"That's sweet but, why a flower garden?"
"Because, not only is it quiet a tranquil, the aesthetics are great. And I know you're a sucker for amazing aesthetics Lele."
The elder chuckled lightly,"You keep on surprising me on how much you know about me, Ji. It's cute."
A light pink dusted his cheeks. What he that obvious?
Chenle took a look at the younger a noticed his blushing and pinched the younger's cheek.

"Ow! That hurt Lele." Jisung pouted whilst rubbing his cheek.
"Stop acting like a little baby Ji, and let's get going yeah?"
And so, the two entered the semi-deserted garden. Immediately, they were met with beautiful hedges of different animal with flowers adorning the details.
"Look! It's you Pwark!" Chenle pointed out a small chick hedge and started laughing.
Jisung playfully slapped the elder's arm and scrunched up his nose. The elder just kept laughing, feeling much lighter than he has for the past few weeks.
The further they went in, Chenle finally stopped laughing and a comforting silence settled between the two. It was until they were met with a large spacious field of flowers. Even though it was autumn, the flowers were still as vibrant as they were in spring and summer.
An idea popped into the younger's mind and he nudged Chenle's arm with his elbow, his hands still tucked into the pocket of his hoodie.
"What?"
"Let's make flower crowns." Jisung suggested, already taking off into the field while brainstorming ideas.
Chenle just shook his head and smiled at the younger fondly, while he leisurely made his way to a patch of crocuses. The flowers reminded him of when Jisung decided to dye his hair blue.
He chuckled at the memory, recalling how mad the younger's mom got because of it. Jisung couldn't leave the house for weeks, except for when he needed to go to school. Chenle visited often to hang out with him since the latter couldn't leave the house.
Chenle knelt down into the patch, plucking up some flowers to start. He started to weave the stems together, making sure to be extra careful whilst doing so. The green haired male was so focused, he didn't even notice Jisung putting on the flower crown he made for him.

Jisung had made his flower crown out of coreopsis flowers. The meaning behind those flowers reminded him of the elder, always bright and cheerful. He moved himself to Chenle's side, pulling out his phone to snap a picture.
Hearing the click of the camera, Chenle snapped out of his trance and looked up at Jisung wearing a mischievous smile.
"Awe, look at this, you look adorable!" Jisung said, showing Chenle the picture he took.
"Yah! Delete that, I look like a baboon!" Chenle screeched and pounced on the younger, reaching out for the younger's phone.
Jisung just laughed blissfully as he outstretched his arm so that Chenle couldn't reach it.
The elder male was so caught up in trying to reach for Jisung's phone, he didn't even know what position they were in. If Chenle were to just look down, he would be face to face with the younger.
Jisung had his eyes squeezed shut from the laughing that he was doing, so he didn't even notice what could possibly happen if Chenle were to look down. When he did start to dial his laughter down and open his eyes, he was met with the elder's wide eyes.
Chenle had looked down awhile ago, absentmindedly admiring the younger's joyous state. The slight crinkle near his eyes, his cutely scrunched up nose, his gorgeous smile. In that moment, Jisung was all he could think about.
The lingering pain from the heartbreak seem to just disappear like it was never there, and was replaced by a warm fuzzy feeling.
They stayed there, just staring at each other for a good five minutes.
"You look pretty with that on Lele." Jisung complemented, his voice quiet and soft.
"With what on?"
Jisung simply just raised his hand, taking off a loose flower from the flower crown and placed it on the elder's ear, pushing back a bit of hair while he was at it. All Chenle could do was stay still and let his gaze follow the younger's movements.
Without much conscious, Jisung glided his hand down to where he was cupping the elder's cheek. His thumb softly ran over Chenle now flushed skin, feeling the heat radiating off of it.
"Why are you so perfect?" Jisung whispered absentmindedly.
Chenle heard him loud and clear, and to say the least, he was flattered to the max. He's obviously gotten complimented before and he'd accept them with a shy smile and a bashful 'thank you'.
But for some reason, Jisung has this affect on him. An affect that he couldn't explain nor control.
