《I should care because?》Impossible Wishes

(Silece's POV)
I awoke to yellow eyes staring at me seeminglly to mourn something long gone. I was lying on his lap, his face in full view. I had to admit, he looked too handsom to be human. Even surpasing the looks of most of the gods.
"What?" I asked Keme. He shook his head and smled, "nothing."
I nodded, if he didn't want to tell me then he didn't want to tell me. As if changing his mind, he opened his mouth to say something and I waited paitently.
"Their dead," he whispered.
"Who?"
"My parents, their dead. I know I'm not supposed to form attatchments with them they aren't even my actual parents, but it was nice. Family is nice."
"Yes," I replied.
"Do you think this world is coming to an end soon?"
I thought about to for a bit. Faith is fickle, and it isn't a permanent road you had to follow. Think about it like a river, everchanging.
"Perhaps," I hope that it isn't so. I don't think I want to go back to the realm of the gods. Not yet, not now.
"What would you do if it did end?"
"Read."
He chuckled, creating the sound of deep thunder. A sound that surprised me for I didn't expect his laugh to sound like that.
"Let's stay alive, shall we? Let's create more moments like these."
Yet as he said those carefree words, his heart constricted as he knew these were just impossible wishes.
Years of living in peace has a price, like everything in this world. The question is, is it worth it?
I watched him stare into the deep forest, wondering what he saw.
Something like this...makes we unwilling to go back to Heallena even more. Though, from what he said today....could it be? Could it be possible that he was also a god?
