"You kept your promise,"
"Of course I did, I couldn't let you marry someone who wasn't meant for you."
"I missed you so much."
"I missed you too, now we can finally be together."
"Dream! We're finally free!" I yell while I let the rainfall onto my face.
"I told you I would be back, I would have never left you." I reattach my arms around Dream's stomach while he rides the horse far away from the castle.

Months later
When I didn't show up to the altar they went to my room and then they started to panic search the castle and everywhere around the castle. Little do they know I'm living in a cottage with my lover miles and miles away.
I open my eyes to golden sunlight peeking through the thin white curtains that flow with the breeze, and a man with blonde hair that was fast asleep. His breathing was steady, he was at peace. His arm was draped over my torso, but I wasn't complaining, it was the first time I felt comfortable in years. I snuggled close to his chest and as if it was in command, he started to wake up.
I look up to see him stretch and then open his eyes, he smiles and gives me a kiss.
"I told you so."
"Hm?"
"I told you the next time you wake up, I would be here."
"Shut up you idiot."
"But I know I'm your favorite idiot."
"You are."
Dream moves his hand off of me and sits up to go out of the bedroom.
"Where are you going?"
"To make some breakfast for my prince." I smile as I bury my face into the pillow before getting up to follow him. He starts to mix a bunch of stuff together with sizzling sounds following soon after.

"So are you my personal chef now?"
"Always been, always will be." He continues to cook the rest until he puts it all onto a plate and presents it.
"I present to you, an omelette with peppers." He says placing the plate in front of me.
"Why thank you chef Dream." I eat it and it was the best thing I tasted, even though I say that after every meal that Dream serves me.
"It's delicious as always."
"I'm glad." Dream walks towards me and gives me a kiss onto my cheek. "You make me so happy, I'm so happy I get to have someone so perfect."

He wasn't like anyone else, always cooking for me, always handing me either a bouquet of flowers or a flower crown. He was special, he was mine.
The kingdom started to give up on finding me and the queen officially announced that I was missing and that they were sending out search parties to find me, and even more months pass and they still didn't find the little cottage on the hill, miles away from that kingdom.
I have finally found my happily ever after
