I woke up to hayes playing with my hair. His flight was at nine in the morning and I checked to see it was seven. "Morning." I whispered.
I sat up to where I was straddling his waist, hands rested on his chest, "I am so tired."
He nodded, eyes squeezed shut from the light that came in through the windows. I reached my hand up, brushing my fingers through his disheveled hair.
I gasped when he tugged me forward, his hands grasping my hips as he moved his lips down my neck.
I bit back a groan, pressing my lips on his before standing up. He followed me in the bathroom and I switched on the shower.
After he finished his business, he walked out whilst glancing back once to see me removing my shirt.
I chuckled to myself, taking a quick shower before drying off and checking outside to see Hayes laying on my bed which looked to be as if he was a sleep.
I believed that he was and quickly dressed into gray joggers and a white tank top.
"Goddamn, baby." I heard as my eyes widened.
I bit my lip before slowly turning to face him, "I, uh, thought you were asleep."
He shrugged with a smirk playing on his full lips, "Glad that I can fake well."
"Oh, my god." I gasped and tossed a pillow at him. He grinned and stood up, "Come to my place so when I get ready, we can head to the airport."
I sighed with a frown and followed him outside. I caught Ash leaving when we got downstairs.
"Hey, sorry, I was just leaving, thanks for letting me stay." he waved. I smiled and told him bye before getting in Hayes' jeep.

We arrived at his place, me heading into the kitchen to see Elizabeth. "Hey, dear." she greeted me, wiping down the counters.
I smiled whilst hopping up on the barsrool, "How are you?"
She sighed, leaning over the island, "I'm fine, how about you, you're not acting yourself?"
I met her gaze with a frown, "I think I'm holding Hayes back from his career."
"Honey, no, that is so not the case." she held onto my hands, "Hayes is so in life with you, you can't hold back something that isn't in your control."
I only nodded, whipping away the tear that ran down my cheek, "Yeah, but I need to let him go. I have loved him for so long that I don't remember when I started to, and now I have him. We are still young and there might be someone else better for him."
Elizabeth stared at me, biting her lip, "Oh, God, Mal. You are going to make me cry."
I nodded and wetted my lips. Hayes walked in, his hair still damp before kissing his mom's cheek. "Whats up with y'all?" he eyed between us.
I shrugged causing him to shake his head. "Let's get to the airport." I suggested.
Hayes wrapped his arm around me, pulling me outside to the jeep. Elizabeth got into the driver's seat while we sat in the back.
"Baby, are you excited?" Elizabeth asked him, casting a glance in the mirror at us.
"Its a good experience, I get to meet alot of fans. Its gonna be lit with my boys." he explained as I stared out the window.
I felt Hayes nudge me, "You okay, babe?"
"I'm fine." I whispered, biting back tears. I am so in love with him and I need to let him go now.

He has so many opportunities without me being there to worry about. His career has to be bigger than us.
"I will wait in the car," she shot me a small smile, "bye, Hayes. I love you."
I waited as they talked before following Hayes into the airport with his suitcases behind him. As we go to where I couldn't go any farther.
"Hayes, we need to talk before you step on that plane." I mumbled, avoiding eye contact as I loosened my grip on his hand.
Hayes tilted my chin up as tears slipped down my cheeks, "What you mean, baby?"
"We need to break up." I breathed out, staring into his darkened eyes.
He bit his lip, shaking his head, "Why?"
"I love you, but we need to. You're gonna be out there with the people that love you, and I'm gonna be here, worrying that you will find someone else." I explained, "I can't do that to you, to us."
He squeezed his eyes shut and leant against the wall, "No, babe, please. We can make it work, don't worry about—"
I wiped more tears, "Baby, no." We stared at each other forever before he tugged me against him, my legs automatically wrapping around his hips.
"I am so in love with you." he mumbled into my ear. I faced him, "I am so in love with you, too."
He smashed his soft lips against mine as the intercom announced his flight. I tasted my tears as they streamed down my face.
He held onto me before they announced it for the final time, "Don't forget about me." I whispered.
His hands moved to cup my cheeks, running is smooth thumbs to clear my tear, "It would be impossible to."
