《Despacito • Marcus Armstrong》Chip off the old block

Tita was in a room, besides Marcus, watching through the TV the three drivers from F3 stepping onto the podium. She was familiar with Oscar Piastri and Logan Sargeant, racing for PREMA; also, Piastri was most likely to take Mick's place at the team in F2. However, she didn't know Pourchaire that well, only that he was probably to replace Marcus at ART, with his allegedly shift to DAMS. Tita hadn't talked to Marcus about that, but she was curious to know everything about it.
- Last year was me, there, at Théo's place. - Marcus whispered in her ear since the room was filled with people - He's taking my place now, and he'll take my place next year.
- Yeah, I was about to ask you about that.
- I'll tell you all about it, once this is finished - he said, seeing the F3 guys leaving the podium.
Everyone at the room, from drivers to mechanics, clapped when each one of the drivers made their way to the podium. But Mick was, of course, the spotlight. Chip off the old block. The name Schumacher in the grid again brought so many memories to everyone.
After the prize-giving ceremony, Tita and Marcus left the room to talk with more privacy. While taking a walk, the driver told her about his shift to DAMS and how it could be a good thing for him. He was going to test the car in the next week, which was a benefit. He wasn't so excited about his teammate, Ticktum, but he had to stick with him for a season, and he was going to make an effort to get along with Dan.
- And I would love to explain to you all the details, but you'll have to wait. The race is about to start - Marcus led them back to the room - I'm supposed to watch the race with ART, but I'll try to be here with you, just give me a minute.

Tita decided to wait outside the room; she didn't want to enter and have everyone looking at her, walking in alone. When she was waiting, a girl making her way to the room approached her.
- Hey, you are Tita, right? - the Spanish was about to raise some questions - I'm Toni, Ilott's girlfriend.
- Oh, sorry, hi, yes, I am.
- Are you going to watch the F1 race alone? It's something I'm used to already. In fact, when you come to a GP, you actually only get a chance to see the boys at the track - she laughed
- Actually, I'm waiting for Marcus, he said he was trying to watch the race with me.
- Alright, but if you still need company, I'll be in there with some girls.
- Ok, thank you, Toni!
However, she didn't get to spend time with the girls, since Marcus had convinced his team to see the race with his "fresh" girlfriend. They sat on a sofa, close to each other, and the only distance between them was due to the masks.
The race was a mess from the beginning, with Charles and Max crashing at first lap. Everyone at the room yelled, some blaming the Ferrari driver, others the Red Bull driver. Marcus noticed the girl beside him was a bit sense and held her hand. She was more relaxed but at the end of the race was nowhere near happy, still think about the crash.
- It happens - Marus told her - Of course Charles needed to end this race, especially since he was starting P4, but there's nothing to do about it.
- Yeah, I guess you're right. It's just easier when you are kilometres away and not right beside it.

The Traveler
Reincarnated with no information other than a single mysterious message, little Damian must survive as an infant in a world of might and magic. He’d better not get caught possessing his memories, or he might spend a thousand years suffering. Being a baby in another world is weird, disorientating, scary, disgusting, and also heartwarming. It doesn’t just happen for no reason, but the “why?” might be a harder puzzle to solve than conquering the whole entire realm. Both of those eventualities were very remote possibilities for an unusually smart baby. He was more concerned with making it to his first birthday without being damned by the gods or eaten by dangerous monster.

Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.

Liana in between Worlds
17 year old Liana is not as surprised as most people would be when she meets Inaya, coming from another world searching for a mysterious danger that could be disastrous for both worlds. She's always seen things others could not see, and she often finds it easier to befriend strange creatures from dreamworlds than her classmates. But now she's involved in a possible plot to eradicate our whole species, which makes her travel through a dead alien city and the oak wood of the Nummerfa who believe that our species are dangerous demons from hell, and other places in several different worlds. All she actually wanted was read her Tolkien book, or sit and watch the stars without being bothered by the existential problems of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. And how is she going to even explain her absence at school? 'Liana in Between Words' is a weird genre-defying mix of portal fantasy and scifi in a tale of friendship, loneliness, and the role of humans in the multiverse. This one contains absolutely no romance and no serious trigger warnings for sex, excessive violence, bad words or heavily traumatising content if you can handle the idea that there are people somewhere who think -maybe not completely without reason- that our species are destructive demons that should be eradicated.
