Heii, can I have this with Mick Schumacher?
Maybe you should have known better, maybe listening to your friends wasn't such a bad idea at all. Either way, you were stuck in this situation now and there was nothing you could do about it.
Maybe if you had done things differently you could be a step ahead, but you didn't. You couldn't.
Who would have ever thought that some movies actually held truth and childhood friends simply never stayed just that, friends.
It didn't matter how dearly you were trying to hold on to the thought it didn't count for you as though suddenly you were ten years old all over again.
You were never going to stay just friends.
Your friends knew it, your family knew it, his family knew it, Hell, even you knew it.
The only one that seemed to be missing out was himself.
Mick, the guy that laughed at you as he pulled on your ponytail, who would tackle you in the sandbox which eventually led to the two of you making a poorly build formula one car out of the sand. Mick was the friend that had laughed in your face when you got your braces.
But he was also the guy that wiped away the stray tears streaming down your face and bought you ice-cream to comfort you, who would sit on your bed and talk to you for hours and hours and wouldn't leave until you had smiled, who refused to sleep until he was absolutely certain there were no bad dreams lurking in the darkness.
He was the friend everyone wished for and only a few got.
"You know I love you."
Mick hesitantly furrowed his brows, his gaze shifting from the TV screen towards you. "Yeah, of course. You're my best friend."

A sour chuckle left your mouth unwillingly. Which only resulted in Mick pulling his eyebrows impossibly tighter together. "What?"
"We're not just friends and you fucking know it too, Mick. It's impossible to deny it at this point. We've been blinded by pure stupidity, but even you know that they were right." a hand went through your hair in frustration. "Deep down we both know it and we've known it for longer than today. I'm In love with you."
Mick looked at you his lips slightly parted in surprise at your confession. "so you're suggesting to just, cut the crap?" Shrugging a smile crept across your face upon seeing the grin spreading across micks' face.
"Fucking finally."
