"Jiho, if you won't let me go, let's invite them over. Please?"
Jiho stared at me and I put on a baby pout and he groaned.
"Fine."
I smile wide and take my phone out. I go to Instagram texting Jinyoung.
"New plan, you know where Jiho lives?"
He looked at it almost immediately and all I could do was giggle to myself.
"Yeah, you want us to head over there for dinner and stuff?"
I sent a thumbs-up emoji and that was the last I heard from him for now.
I go on the take out menus within the thousands. Itaewon Grill. I looked through the menu and just ordered fried rice bowls and a side of kimchi for everyone...and a crap ton of cupdak. I couldn't help myself.
"Hey Jiho, can you go get beer?"
"You want to drink beer?"
He asked me and I lightly smiled.
"Seunghun was kind of mean today so maybe beer will break the ice. Like it did with us."
I shrugged my shoulders and Jiho smiled and chuckled at me.
"You've always been social, what can I say? Yeah, I'll grab some beer. Want soju too? Anything else?"
I had thought about what he said and what I wanted.
"The same stuff we always get when we hang."
I smirked and he nodded his head.
"Ok fine, I'll be back soon, be good ok?"
He pointed at me playfully and I just smiled like a dork.
"I will!"
I yelled before he made it out the door.
Now, I went back to my room and brought out the case files. Bite marks showed 2-2 ½ inches apart from each other. The victims still unharmed these deaths have no time, place, or even personal connections in any way. This is impossible.

I heard a knock on the door so I quickly jumped up running over there.
"Coming!"
I yell before completely making it over there.
I open the door to see 4 smiling familiar faces and one frown.
"Hey guys, Jiho is out real quick, but I have takeout coming in."
They all carried their phones, laptops, and 2 copies of the case files with them.
I step to the side and let them in. Seunghun was last so I grabbed him to at least ask him some questions.
"Hey, you like to drink?"
I asked and he scoffed pulling his wrist away quite harshly.
"What do you want?"
"Drink with me tonight."
I smile wide and he just nods through his shock. Yeah, I'm social and I win!
"Ok, so did y'all already read over everything?"
I asked them and Jinyoung even shook his head.
"O-Oh, well let's get started then!"
I sit on the floor in front of the coffee table and open the file copies.
"March 26th of 2019, the first victim of 'the vamp case' was found in her room 4 days after her death by her parents who went to visit her that day. Pictures and files said that there was no evidence found. Hair, spit, fingerprints, not even shoe sizes. Dressed in a yellow spring dress with a mid v neck cut. The marks were found on both wrists and one on the right side of her neck. No rape or any other physical harm to the body. The body was also well-groomed after death. She was cleaned with White Spirit and one small drop of her blood sat below her right collar bone. Also, police noticed marks like a hickey but really big, practically the size of the circle on the bottom of a bowl. These marks were placed over the punctures in her body. It says that it's most likely that it was a breast pump where the killer or killers collected the blood from the body. This was in a small alleyway apartment in Incheon. Lastly, there are 2 cameras in the harddrive that caught only a small glimpse of one person going in the apartment an hour earlier at her estimated reported time of death which was around 1:00 - 1:30 or so. They came out an hour and a half afterward, nothing of any blood that I could see, but they would be our first suspect if found. A black bag, most likely carrying weapons, white spirit, or whatever needed in that bag. Black clothing and everything, hair was a bright blonde and boy short. Female and male-like body features."

I went over everything and they all stared at what I laid out for them while I explained the death and so on. I showed them the footage of the person and I looked around at the boys. I then get up and smile towards the cold boy from earlier.
"Seunghun, come here."
I gestured and he hesitantly got up and walked to me in front of the coffee table.
"Ok, standstill."
He nods and I quickly take the sides of his shirt and pulled it back to show his body shape and he quickly freaks out and gets away from me.
"The hell was that?!"
I laugh and the others join and I drag him back to me.
"Showing an example, turn your side to them."
Seunghun slowly listened to me and then I smiled.
"Ok, so, Seunghun from the side has a girly stance and even girly lower body figure, but when you turn him to his back he has manly shoulders."
I smiled ignoring every siren that went off in my head while I sat back down.
"If we can find some sort of suspects we need to look for both genders with body types like this. We also need to visit the crime scene and look around some more."
I said and they all hum in response.
We hear knocks on the door and right before I got up I heard a familiar voice yell through the door.
"Ohsuk! My hands are really full! Hurry!"
"Coming!"
I ran to the door and saw an exhausted Jiho being weighed down by heavy and completely filled convenience store bags.
Then a delivery man stumbles in.
"Order for Oh Sukhyun!"
"Right here!"
I yell quickly running to my room and grabbing my wallet.
"How much is it?"
I asked and without hesitation, the delivery man spoke.
"93,553.74₩"
I smile handing the man 100,000₩.
"Thank you come again!"
We all bow to the man while he hands us our food and leaves.
"Ok! Let's get started!"

Re: Dragonize
After an unexpected turn of events, Drew must now survive in a world full of challenges with life-or-death stakes. Gone are the days when the biggest problems to face were awkward small-talk at physics department luncheons or mountains of lab work; this former physicist is now adrift in an unfamiliar land without any equipment. Now, Drew's only tool (if it can be called that) is a System, which provides constant reminders of all of the things that are still out of reach for a low-level being who's just arrived in a new world. Luckily, Drew has one powerful asset when taking on the challenges of this new world: surviving violent conflict is a lot easier when you have the power of a dragon at your disposal. Still, Drew has always considered violence a last resort. Why turn to fists (or claws) when a bit of quiet consideration might expose a better path forward? Maybe a life of quiet contemplation is still within reach for this former academic researcher. ...Or maybe not. It probably won't be a life of bloodless pacifism. Additional information for those who wish to calibrate their expectations (I'm adding this based on a few comments I received from readers who feel that the story is not what they expected from a dragon-themed story): Re: Dragonize is not a power fantasy -- or at least, it's not intended to be one. Re: Dragonize is a progression fantasy starting with a protagonist who must start at the bottom (or close to it), and work gradually upwards, making incremental progress with plenty of setbacks along the way. The protagonist, as someone coming from the world of academia, tends to be cautious, methodical, and contemplative. As such, expect this story to contain more than a few digressions as the main character takes the time to pontificate on a variety of topics ranging from Newtonian physics and horology to the nature of existence and the ethical dilemmas associated with being an obligate carnivore.
