《Cut Deep (Eren x Reader ft. Titan Eren)》~ Chapter 29 ~

I wake up in my bed, and look around my room. It's as if I never left. Was it just a dream? Were titans the bullies that teased me as a child, and Eren the one person that saved the day? I breath shakily...it couldn't have been a dream. The years of training...the Trost gate...Marco, Jean, Armin and Eren...
I turn to my left and see Eren's face, messy brown hair and an invisible do not disturb sign. I smile, and realise it wasn't a dream. I look out my bedroom window, and wave back at the sun that greets me good morning. I hear Eren turn around, and mumble under his breath.
"Good morning, (Y/N)," He snuggles under the duvet.
"Good morning, Eren," I turn to his sleepy face.
He moves his body closer to mine, and wraps his arms around my waist and embraces me into a hug. He then plants a kiss on my cheek, which is rather sloppy and warm.
"You missed," I grunt, rubbing my eyes awake.
"Hmm?" Eren hums with his eyes closed.
"My lips are here," I pull into a kiss, beginning the day perfectly.
After breakfast my dad has a chat to Eren while I sit the in living room with my mom.
"(Y/N)," My mom smiles. "Your father and I really like Eren..."
"That's good," I blush, happy they approve of my boyfriend.
"But," My mom says biting her bottom lip.
"But?" I echo. My father always told me, if someone uses but, they are about to conflict everything they have previously stated.
"When do you think you'd be getting married?"
"Mom!"
"I'm serious, (Y/N)."
"We've been going out for two weeks!" I remind her.

"Yes, but in your occupation and the times we live in, two weeks is like two years. You've known each other for years anyway..."
"Basically," I cut away from her question. "You're saying you're happy for me to marry Eren?" I ask her.
"Yes," She places a hand on my lap.
After a few days back home I revisited old teachers and family friends, all happy to see me alive and well. None of them were introduced to Eren, though due to the fear they might think he will turn into a titan and kill them on the spot. This irritated him the slightest, and when people did see us together he used Jean's identity.
"I look nothing like that Horse Face!" He had playfully argued to me.
"No, but you've both got that same angry scowl," I quoted Armin.
We walk up my favourite hill I used to run around on as a child, but back then I did it alone not having any friends. As we walk, Eren clutches my hand and I remember the photo I drew back a few weeks ago.
"Is this the hill that you drew in the photo?" Eren looks and sees the trees aligned where they were on the paper.
"Yes," I nod, choked up with joy.
"It's exactly the same," He smiles, sitting down under the shade of a large tree.
"Yes," I repeat, sitting down next to him.
He leans over and cups my cheek, pulling me into a warm kiss, and all the pain and fear I had deep down inside is finally gone. I am no longer cut deep.

A Warrior's Love (BL)
"Your mind is dark, your eyes are dull, your life is bleaker than feces, and your heart is covered in ash." She removed one hand to keep her veils on her head as the topmost shawl slipped down her neck. She continued to speak, "Your blood is cold. If you remain this way, you will die before you can find your love." The Krasean lowered his veil, revealing his face to us. He tipped his head upward so I can see his honey coloured eyes that were duller than his peoples'. Black eyeliner outlined the rim of his eyes, drawing attention to his enchanting eyes. "Whoever your lover is, they are your other half. You will endure hardships and pain because of them. You will also make them feel the same." She looked conflicted like she did not know whether to tell me this was good or bad. "In their eyes, you are the evilest and the godliest. How contradicting this is!" "Did you slap me?" I held the helmet between the pit of my elbow and my waist. One hand slowly reached up to rub my numb cheek. It has been forever since someone last slapped me. Now, no one who knew my identity would dare to hit me directly. "The blood coursing through your veins, it's hot and dangerous. You cannot be tamed easily and this may be the cause of your downfall." A strange grimace graced her wrinkled face. I swear to the gods she is ageing each second! "I see your fall. Someone with too much power automatically becomes a threat. You're no longer seen as an ally, but a monster."

Beyond the Bridge
There are many worlds, many multiverses, and you can move between them via the Federation's Bridge network - magical gateways to other worlds. The world dubbed "C'thon" by its inhabitants - or Gamma-Theta-Nu-649, if you ask the Federation's bureaucracy - was deserted when the Federation found it. The "civilized" races had all died out centuries prior, and the wilderness had grown downright feral in their absence. Now, the lonely Federation outpost of Bridgetown is under constant threat from the hungry wildlife, malicious fey, territorial goblins, and wandering undead that surround it. The town's distance from the Federation's centers of power means that it gets precious few of the resources that it needs to stay safe and afloat. Enter the Guild of Adventurers, a plucky and disparate crew who do the Federation's dirty work in exchange for coin. One team, the first of many, crosses the Bridge to C'thon looking for fame, fortune, and (if they're lucky) the answer to a newly-discovered Prophecy. They'll get much more than they bargained for, although first they need to avoid being eaten by the local wildlife. Updates weekly on Wednesday. Chapters will be as long as they need to be for them to work, which means they can vary. If anything drops below 2500 words, I'll post an extra chapter if I have one ready. [PS: This is not a litRPG, but I do borrow heavily from TTRPGs for inspiration, and the general setting and storyline is from a TTRPG campaign I'm running.] [PPS: This is my first attempt at writing long-form fiction. I'm not trying to make a great piece of literature or have a multi-novel overarching plot, but hopefully it'll still be a fun story - let me know what you think in the comments.] [PPPS: Cover image is from a free-download wallpaper by Tyler Edlin; I do not own it, and will take it down immediately if requested.]
