《te amo, bitch (QUACKITYHQ)》party

she was used to wearing mostly baggy clothes, so the tight dress she had on was definitely different. she was expecting to feel more self conscious, but her confidence boosted.
maybe it was the instagram edit audios she was listening to while she got ready, but she felt she was having a main character moment.
she decided it was probably the only time she'd be able to go all out, so she did. she straightened her hair, turning out surprisingly well. she had cut her leg while she was shaving, but it was hardly noticeable. she added red lipstick and heavier eye makeup. she used highlighted that she recently got, making her skin look golden and glowy.
she didn't give a shit about what anyone else thought of her, she loved the way she looked. she knew she didn't need the makeup to prove it, but there's no shame in showing off a little.
she held her heels in her right hand, walking out of the bathroom to find karl and alex. they were supposed to be there in twenty minutes, and it was about a 15 minute drive. reyna walked into the kitchen to drink some water, since she was planning on drinking tonight.
alex stood by the fridge, his face turning bright red when he saw the girl. his eyes went wide, taking in her appearance. he had never seen that much skin on reyna and it caught him off guard.
there was no denying that alex thought reyna was beautiful, but seeing her so confident, knowing exactly how gorgeous she looked, was a whole other feeling for him.
alex had on a white dress shirt with a black tie. his sleeves were rolled up to his elbows, and his hair was less messy than usual. reyna thought alex always looked very, very attractive, but especially right now. he didn't have his beanie so you could see his whole face. his jawline looked exceptionally sharp tonight.
"you look hot." reyna says, fully aware to what she was doing to alex. she wasn't lying, though, just teasing him. it worked well, alex going a brighter shade of red.
"alright is everyone ready- OH MY GOD!" karl walks in, immediately covering his eyes and turning out the kitchen.

"KARL! relax, dude." reyna laughs. alex, who was still too flustered to speak, stood still.
karl was the designated driver, since he didn't feel like being hungover the next day. as they climbed into the car, they discussed the plan. karl didn't want anyone doing anything too stupid, since they already had a bad rep. being a social media influencer was one thing, but being apart of the gaming community was probably the worst type of media. getting paid to play video games and be funny was something a lot of people were jealous of.
so basically, alex had to stay with reyna at all times. karl would be bouncing around, since he knew pretty much everyone that was going to be there. reyna decided not to get too drunk, and made sure alex watched her drink.
"okay, let's get ready to party!" karl weakly says. the house was packed, people were pouring into the huge home, music was blaring, it was like a rich kid high school party.
"how long are we staying here?" reyna asked, not wanting to be surrounded by sweaty drunk people for long.
"no longer than 1." karl decides. he didn't want to be there either.
"let's go piss off these fuckers by being successful." alex says while helping reyna out of the car, making her smirk.
a shitty song by the weekend was playing as the three stepped into the house. karl greeted the hosts, shaking hands. he found jimmy soon after, everyone saying their hello's.
it became clear that no one really knew why reyna was there, which wasn't surprising to her. she wasn't nearly as popular as alex or karl, so she just said she was a friend. she wasn't expecting so many people to approach her so rudely. it was very obvious they were only interested in how much money she made.
it made her anxious, but she tried to push it down with cheap beer. there were so many new people, and none of them were good for her. alex took note of her frazzled state, standing close to her. he held her wrist gently, making sure he didn't loose her in the crowd. he didn't let go, even when they were away from the wave of bodies.

unintentionally, reyna slid her hand into alex's, lacing her fingers with his. she gripped his hand tightly, as if it was her lifeline.
"i fucking hate this." she says, clutching the red solo cup in her free hand.
"me too." alex sighs. "if it gets too much, i don't mind stepping outside or anything."
"thanks." reyna says. "i'm good right now, i think."
"don't feel bad if you do, this isn't my type of scene either." alex reassures her.
"i'd probably dance if they would play anything but this shit." she laughs dryly. "at least karl's having a good time." she adds sarcastically. the two look across the room at karl, who was surrounded by two girls one blonde, one brunette, helplessly flirting with him. they touched his arms and chest, making him physically uncomfortable.
"what the hell." reyna mumbled.
"that doesn't look good." alex agreed, helping her over to karl.
karl's expression turns into relief as he sees his two best friends approach. alex clears his throat loudly, but the girls don't stop.
"i don't think he likes that very much." reyna speaks over the music, anxiety melting away when she saw how distressed her friend was.
one of the girls glares at her while the other speaks. "who are you to speak, whore."
alex goes to step forward, but reyna tugs him back. before she can respond, the other girl speaks. "you already have a man for yourself, is that not enough for you, bitch?"
reyna gives alex a look, signaling that she could handle the situation.
"hey, i really don't-" karl tries to speak.
"shush, you don't know what you want." the brunette says, putting a finger to his lips. karl flinches away. "please, you're lucky." the blonde says.
"what the fuck is wrong with you." reyna says. "he's fucking uncomfortable, he doesn't want your dumbass anyway." although reyna was being aggressive, she was careful not to get too bad. she could handle a physical fight, but she didn't like to seriously make fun of someone for something they couldn't control.
she could've been a lot meaner, but she would have her chance. while the girls were arguing, alex shooed karl away before running back to make sure reyna was okay.
"you're a slut aren't you? look at you, you're asking for it." the blonde says.
"okay, i'm down being fucking nice. listen up, bitch. there's plenty of other men you can go steal money from. my friend doesn't want your crusty ass highlights or your fake tan. go back to your trump rally." reyna spits. she was barely the same height, but she spoke down to them.
alex could see the crowd that was forming around them. reyna didn't seem to notice, or care.
"don't you have a wall to be climbing over?" the brunette says.
and that, was the last straw for reyna. she swung her fist at the brunette's face, pushing the blonde back before she could get up. swiftly, reyna takes off her heels, tossing them to the side. she didn't expect either of them to come back at her, but the brunette did.
but reyna didn't grow up in a drug selling neighborhood for nothing. while the blonde crawled away, the other girl marched toward her. reyna didn't expect her to do anything but maybe shove her, but the brunette backhanded her across the face.
reyna knew her nose was bleeding, but didn't feel any pain. feeling balanced on her feet, she kneed her in the stomach and kicking her back.
"go fuck yourself, gringo." reyna flips her off.
she turns around and sees security moving towards her. reyna really wasn't feeling the whole 'being arrested' situation, even though she technically didn't do anything wrong.
"run!" alex grabs her, pushing her to the nearest exit. they chased them down a few blocks, but ran back to their cars when they realized it was too dark for them to run after the pair.
reyna ushered alex behind a large dumpster when she heard them pass.
"holy shit." alex mumbled.
"what, never ran from the cops before?" she giggles.

New Escape
In a world not that unlike the present exists a fantastic technology to transfer one's consciousness into a game. A new frontier for video games has been opened, and my first experience in this world is an rpg. An escape from monotony and school has led me to experience a brand new world.(I originally lost my motivation for this story and kinda wanted to kill it, but I brought it into this world so I will fix it. I'll probably re-write the first chapters and include a more compelling story. Didn't really write the story for people to read in the first place and after I put it on here I stopped caring, but I am changed!(not too much but just a little))

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law.
