Good news- I had my first successful physical therapy appointment today! Wow I'm so happy!! There was initial pain and I thought "oh shit the surgery didn't work" but then...it happened. I actually got the dilator in with practically no problems!! I'm sitting in the parking lot of Bookmans (a used bookstore, I'm getting myself a prize lmao!!) typing this out for you guys...so excited to be typing this right now lol!

Wow life is looking up. I'm a little sore because I have brand new tissue down there after the surgery that had never been touched so it definitely stung-and it stings a little now but oh man I don't care! This is such a big BIG deal! Wow I wish I could convey in words how big this is. I've been on the journey of heeling for 4 years now and feeling this pain for 11...the fact that I know now that it's going to get better is just incredible. I have genuine hope now, something I've literally never had.

My homework is to practice with the dilator every night which I know I can do. Wow it's a long journey but I know now that it's worth it and I can make it! I can actually do this!! Wow wow wow!!
