You turned your phone over and saw your ex trying to call you. You hit the decline button, then went back to eating breakfast.

"Hey y/n. I have something to tell you that'll get your mind off of that." Dexter said.

"What is it?" you asked, taking another bite of your waffles.

"I'm interested in auditioning for a musical." he said.

Your face lit up. "Really?!?" you said with excitement.

"Yeah. It'll be my first time acting onstage." Dexter said.

"Nice. Do you know what the show is or what song you're gonna audition with?" you asked.

"The show is called Witness Uganda and I don't know what I'm gonna sing." he said.

"Well, whatever you sing, you'll do great." Alexander said.

"Thanks. Y/n, do you know what musical your school will be doing?" Dexter asked.

"There was a rumor going around, saying that it will be High School Musical 2, but no one knows for sure." you said.

"How's the fall play going? Has there been a lot of death?" Kaya asked.

"Well, it's a version of Game of Thrones, so you can expect death." Thomas said, making everyone laugh.

Just then, your phone rings again. You look at the screen, it's your ex again. You hit the decline button.

"Hey Wes. What time should we all start getting ready for the premiere?" Ki Hong asked.

"Well, that depends on how long it'll take for us girls to get ready." Kaya commented.

You, Rosa, Kat, and Nathalie laughed.

"I would say about 2:30pm or 3:00pm. It's about 10:30am now. So, you guys have about five hours." Wes said.

"Y/n, are you excited for the premiere?" Will asked.

"Of course I'm excited. But, I'm a little nervous. This is my first movie premiere." you said.

Everyone finished eating breakfast. As everyone was putting their dishes away, your phone rang again.

"Y/n, it's your ex again." Alexander said.

"Decline it." you said.

Everyone sat in the living room. You guys were watching The Price is Right. Your ringtone went off for the fourth time. It was your ex, AGAIN!

You got up from the couch.

"Where are you going?" Thomas asked.

"To shut my ex up." you snapped.

You went onto the porch and answered your phone. Throughout the entire call, your tone of voice sounded mad because you want nothing to do with him anymore. He explained the breakup and said that the last time he felt happy was with you.

"You ruined everything between us and it can't be fixed. I'm with Thomas now and he's treating me better than you did." you said

"He's only 'dating' you to get more publicity and it's not real love." your ex said.

"That's it! You are to never contact me again or come up to me at school. Understand me?" you said, then hung up.

You went back inside and went to your room. You went onto the balcony to calm down. You heard the door open behind you. Thomas came onto the balcony and stood beside you. He wrapped his arm around you. You faced him with teary eyes. Thomas pulled you into a hug and you hugged him back.

You pulled away and he wiped your eyes.

"He had his chance and he gave it up. I'm not going to." Thomas said.

His words warmed your heart.

"I love you." you said.

"I love you too." Thomas said.

You two went back to the living room.
