After Alex left, you felt kind of weird that you both confessed your feelings to each other. For the rest of the day, you couldn't focus on anything. You did your assignments and listened to everything, but your mind was clouded. All you could think about was how you are going to explain this to Thomas.

At lunch, you told Kendra, Gwen, and Emily about what happened with Alex and that you want to tell Thomas. You told them your thoughts.

What do I do? How will he react? I hope he doesn't get mad at me. I'm afraid that he'll break up with me. I don't want him to leave.

Your friends assured you that Thomas isn't the type of guy that would leave a girl like you over something like that. It took them about three times to convince you to tell him and not to focus on the negative.

You decided to call Thomas before rehearsal. Hopefully, he won't be too busy with Godless.

Thomas's POV

I've been very worried about a particular scene. It's when Jessica, who plays Louise and I share a kiss, then we have a splash fight in the creek.

I already talked to Jessica about how I have a girlfriend and that I'm uncomfortable with kissing her. She completely understood, but she recommended that I talk to y/n.

Scott gave me a break after my gun twirling lesson. I checked my Clock app for the time in y/state/n. I did the mental math and figured out what time it was where y/n lives.

She beat me to it! My phone was ringing and I saw that y/n was trying to call me. I took a deep breath and accepted the call. This is all I could think about:

What do I do? How will she react? I hope she doesn't get mad at me. I'm afraid that she'll break up with me. I don't want her to leave.

Y/n's POV

You had twenty minutes before rehearsal. You put everything back in your backpack, then pulled out your phone. You tapped on Thomas's contact to call him. Your heart was beating rapidly as your phone rang. Then, he answered.

"Hi, love. I was actually about to call you." he said.

"Thomas, I need to talk to you about something. It's very serious." you said.

"Well, I have to talk to you about something serious too." Thomas said.

You went first.

"The boy that plays Troy in the musical confessed that he has feelings for me. Then, I kinda...told him that...I had feelings for him too...before you and I started dating." you admitted.

There was silence on the other end.

Thomas's POV

Y/n just told me her serious news. I was silent for a few seconds.

"Thomas? Thomas, please answer. I'm sorry." she said.

"Yeah, love. I'm still here. It's okay. I understand and I'm glad that you told me. Here's my serious news." I said. Here it goes.

"I have to kiss my co-star, Jessica for a scene. I wanted to tell you to get your consent. I already talked to Jessica about it and she completely understands." I admitted.

There was silence on the other end.

Y/n's POV

You froze. Someone else has to kiss your boyfriend, but he'll be in character and not himself.

"It's okay, I understand. I'm glad that you told me. Yes, you have my permission. Good luck. I gotta go to rehearsal. I love you. Bye." you said.

"Bye." Thomas said, then hung up.
