《Psychopathic (Jungkook x reader)》Chapter 38

Yoongi POV:
I walked down the street, headed towards Brooks home as i played with a lighter in my right hand. I had a job to do, and i knew just how to do it.
I got to her home as i picked the lock on the trunk of brooks car, pulling the gas can out as i opened the lid, walking with it on an angle as i left a trail of gas leading up to the house.
I knew Jimin was in the guest room and i knew Brook was asleep, so i knew id be able to gas half the house.
I walked around the rooms, spilling gas on everything as i smirked slightly before making my way upstairs. I poured gas all over the stairs before walking into the other rooms, pouring gas there too.
I walked into Brooks room, sneaking up to her before straddling her waist as i started to tie her hands to the bed with a nearby scarf.
Her eyes slowly fluttered open as she quickly realized the situation she was it as she tugged against the scarf, wiggling under me as she tried to escape.
I got up off of her, her still unable to leave the bed as i began to douse everything in gas as she continued to tug at the tight scarf.
I covered everything in gas before walking into jimins room. I walks over as i gripped his arms, lifting him up.
He looked up at me as he smiled, curling up to me before i shoved him into the closet.
"Y-Yoongi what are you doing?" Jimin asked as he looked up at me, i didnt answer as i shot him a psychotic glare.
Jimins eyes widened as he looked at me fear. I smirked as i closed the closet door locking it before once again dousing everything in gasoline.

Once i was done i left the house, holding my lighter before looking back at the house. I laughed psychotically as i turned on the lighter, holding it to the gas as it immediately caught on fire.
I smirked as i stood up, watching the house burst into flames as i turned around.
I turned around, gasping slightly when i i saw Y/n swing the bat. It hit me hard on the head as i fell to the ground, knocking back to my usual self as i held my head, looking up at her.
"..y/n? whats happeni-"
I spoke softly before turning around, falling into panic when i see the home engulfed in flames.
"J-Jimin!" I yelled as i ran inside, tears welling in my eyes.
I remembered everything, i remembered it all when Y/n had knocked me out earlier, before Hobi had drugged me again.
I ran into the fire engulfed house, running upstairs as i ran to Jimins room, opening the door and running to the closet.
I unlocked it to find a view that shattered my heart.
Jimin was crying, clutching his bunny plushie in his arms as he looked up at me, immediately crying harder as he grew more afraid.
"J-jiminie...i-its okay, im not g-gonna h-hurt you" I choked out as i wrapped my arms around him, picking him up as i tried to get him out of the house safely.
Once we were outside i set him on the concrete before getting back up, making my way back towards the house to save Brook.
I had only taken a few steps towards the house before it burst into stronger flames, exploding almost as it pushed me back slightly.
Jimin got up as he ran over to me, clutching my shirt in his hands.
"D-Dont go! i-its too late!" Jimin pleaded as he cried.

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.

The Monster Inside: The First Vampire
Despite appearances, there was once a time where monsters did not exist. Where peace and prosperity reigned over all life. But those sinful and demonic forces that had hidden themselves in the shadows just couldn't help themselves could they? They wanted a piece of that prosperity too. They wanted to taint it, corrupt it, revel in its dark side. This is the story of a boy who was tainted. Of a boy who unintentionally bore a seed of sin and who in his naivety let it out. This is the story of how that boy was shamed and disgraced. Of how he was outcast for simply being. This is the story of how that boy learned to embrace the darkness that made him different. A darkness that would later make him known as the Lord of Night. Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.

Infested
One billion people from one hundred thousand universes have been dropped onto a singular planet five times larger than Earth. In the corner of their eye were three numbers: 1,000,000,000. 15. 10. Nobody could figure out what it meant until fifteen years after the initial transportation, as out of the blue, a message repeated itself in their minds for twenty-four hours. “Only ten can return. The rest will die. There is no time limit,” Following the global message, genocides ran rampant, with established friendships broken, families ripped apart, blood alliances betrayed, and leaders felled in seconds. How? [The Evgnomon] The Beholden; hidden throughout the realm were artefacts: weapons, information, tools from beings and societies of a higher plane. It was up to the humans to scour the land and take them by hook or by crook if they ever wished to go back. Whisked into this world as a mere babe, I suppose it was lucky I didn’t die in the chaos. But as I stare into the rotten, tattered pages of the accursed book laid upon the pedestal in front of me; and the unnerving gaze of our professor trained onto the back of my head silently pressuring me to become the avatar of grotesques unspeakable and undecipherable to the human mind. O, how I wish I did...
