Meghan's POV
I awoke in my bedroom with someone making noise in the kitchen... This seems all to familiar ... Should I go check ? I decide I should . I go to the kitchen with a huge headache to see what's going on . I see someone I've really wanted to see for a while .
"CARL!? CARL GRIMES!?" I say with so much happiness in my voice .
"Hey Meghan . I've missed you so much! " he says .
"W-what was that.....that thing!?" I asked running into his arms . ( no we aren't dating... But I want to .)
"I call them walkers . Everyone who....who dies, comes back as one of those things... I don't understand it at all ." He explains .
"So that...that was my parents ?" I asked .
"I wouldn't say that . I consider them monsters . Your parents were your parents...but those things...are monsters..." He said .
"So how long has this been happening ? Am I... Dead ? Is this a dream ?" I have so many questions...
"It's okay to be afraid... It's only been happening for about a day...but a lot of people have been hurt...these monsters are terrible...terrible monsters..." He said .
"I miss my mom and dad..." I say starting to cry .
He walks up to me and hugs me . I feel safer when he does this . He makes me so happy . But all we'll ever be is friends . That's all he wants to be . Carl I love you... Why can't you love me like I love you ?
