《The Best Gay Reads of Wattpad [Being Edited]》The Consort by Harlem Diggity

I just finished The Consort by as I write this, and let me just say,
Lit.
I'm just very excited because seldom do I see a good, solid vampire story. The Consort is a story I just started reading a few days ago. My first impressions were that it was interesting because of the way that vampires and humans interact in this fictional world. I haven't seen anything quite like it before, and this led to me binge-reading, spam-commenting and hardcore fangirling over it. Poor author probably thinks I'm crazy 😂
Yeah, I was being extra again. (#athenamaddox)
Characters Finn (I know my Rapture readers, I know 😋) and Bogdan are really interesting to me because of their distinct personalities. It's not really a dynamic between the main love interests that I see too often, and so I really appreciate that—it's just fantastic to see as a reader. I also really like the way author Harlem utilizes side characters. They are always very relevant and crucial to the plot, which I appreciate wholesomely. Just. Yes, okay? Yes.
Another thing that I feel is important to mention is the beautiful language used. I'd take a quote for example but honestly I wouldn't know where to start and I don't want to risk spoilers, but trust me, there is so much beautiful language used throughout each chapter that makes you just stop and think for a moment. I wish there was a word for this (leave a comment if there actually is!) so that I could describe it properly, but beautiful use of language is one of my favorite things to see as both reader and writer.
As for the plot, I really do admire it. There aren't many stories on Wattpad that I've seen that have really been able to properly deliver a good plot twist, but I found quite a few good twists in The Consort. The plot moves at a good pace, and is clearly very well thought out. It has a lot of the finesse that one could see in a published piece, if that makes sense.

The Consort is currently completed, so you vampire lovers should really get reading!
And, not only is The Consort completed, but it has a sequel! I'm currently reading, so I'll let you know how it goes. (So far, The Consort's Will is really good!)

Excuse Me, I Am The Real Female Lead
Fang Mo'er found out that she transmigrated into a novel that gave her nothing but anger when she read it. Moreover, she became the female supporting character with a miserable ending! The female supporting character that she became gave up her family fortune and career to compete for the male lead's affection. Eventually, the scum of the earth would cheat her of all of her resources for the female lead. Simultaneously, she would also do something crazy out of jealousy and eventually destroy her own reputation. Fang Mo'er decided that she would never walk down this path again! -In front of the Department of Civil Affairs, Fang Mo'er, who just transmigrated over, hung up on the scum's call that meant to tell her to postpone their wedding. Coincidentally, a handsome man clad in a suit walked to her side. The man said, "Miss, since your groom isn't here and my bride ran away, why don't we get married instead?" Fang Mo'er did not pay too much attention to him and wondered who he was instead. She did not recall having such a stale plotline in this novel. The man continued, "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Shi Mo." Fang Mo'er's eyes nearly fell out of her sockets. Shi Mo? The man who only appeared once in the entire novel; the CEO of the world's biggest entertainment company? What else could be more vengeful than marrying Shi Mo to disgust the scum of a couple? "Deal!" The current Fang Mo'er was still immersed in the anger and vengefulness from the novel. Hence, this was just her trying to change the fate of a character. However, she forgot that she had become Fang Mo'er, and at this moment, she had just chosen the man who would accompany her for the rest of her life.Author:It is IEditor: EndlessFantasy Translation Note: This novel does not belong to me...
