《Paul Lahote x Reader》Pauls hoodie

Last chapter: I couldn't take my eyes away, only glancing to the side when she'd turn toward me, as she smiled and laugh with Leah before they journeyed into the water.
Her beauty was captivating
Y/n POV
The sun began to set while the 'guys' and I sat around a large fire that they had put together. With the setting sun came small wisps of icy winds. It became clear that my outfit consisting of a damp bikini, shorts and a thin shirt weren't gunna cut it. A shiver racked through my body.
"Here." A voice said, I looked to my right and saw Paul taking off a hoodie, which apparently was also acting as his shirt. He handed it to me smiling. I couldn't help but check out is six pack and as I looked up I knew he had caught me but I mean come on! Who wouldn't look? My face heated up at the realization never the less. Everyone else seemed oblivious to my cold and embarrassed state.
"Thanks." I murmured avoiding eye contact but I could feel the smile radiating off of him, clearly pleased with my reaction. I threw on the hoodie and my god it was warm! He must be some type of human heater! I nuzzled my face into the neck of the hoodie. Subconsciously breathing in as I smelt the scent of woods. His hoodie smelt so calming like laying down on a clear patch in the forest on a sunny day. I sighed and tried to rejoin the groups convo before a voice broke off from the group, Paul's.
"Better?" He asked although it was obvious as my shaking had subsided. I nodded smiling at him.
"Yeah thank you so much, I was freezing" I said exaggerating the the end and giggling as I did. He cracked another smile at me.

"We wouldn't want that." He said he said winking at me. Bro, what does that mean?? I don't understand guys at all. Is he flirting? Does that mean that he wants me to freeze? I'm confused! I just smiled back before turning back towards the fire. Everyone was joking and having a good time before a wolfs howl broke through the night and everyone went rigid. What was the big deal? Jake looked at his watch.
"Shucks guess it's time to get to work." He said shrugging as everyone around me began to quickly pack up... strange. I shrugged getting up and grabbing my damp towel off the sand. We all started walking back to the trucks. Jake leading everyone up the little sand bank even though it was much darker now that the sun had set and we were away from the glowing fire. As I walked Paul's jacket hit again my thighs making it obvious just how tiny I was. Another step up the steep little sand bank and my foot slipped almost sending me crashing into the sand but someone behind me had wrapped an arm around my waist.
"You alright?" A voice behind me said as their hard chest moved against my back with each breath. I blushed instantly knowing who's extremely warm jacket less arm was holding me.
"Yeah. Thanks Paul." I said regaining my footing and getting out of his warm grip. Everyone was already at the top so I hurried to meet up with them. When we reached the top they were discussing something and cut themselves off once I got there... weird.
"Hey y/n, so we've got to get to work so Jarred gunna ride with me." Jake said trailing off, noticing my jacket and glancing up at the shirtless Paul behind me. "So Paul can take you home." He said with a small smirk playing on his lips. Great here comes the teasing and embarrassment. Yippe! I nodded at him. Everyone piled into various cars as Paul and Jared began to discuss how if Paul broke his baby or even scratched it he was a dead man to which Paul shoved him lightly before taking the keys.

"Ready to go?" Paul asked walking over to me. Holding the keys out to show that we were taking the Jeep.
"Yep." I said as we walked over to it.

Getting Hard (Journey of a Tank)
Herald Stone always built tank characters in every MMORPG he played. To be immortal—that was his first Goal, a simple childhood dream. However, the turbulent realities of life put an end to his gaming days. Years passed, and Herald Stone, now having attained success and stability, was presented with the opportunity to redeem himself...to fulfill his first Goal. Trivial? Childish? Others might think so. But Herald Stone always fulfilled his Goals—every single one. No matter what. Immortality beckoned in Mother Core Online, and this time Herald Stone would answer. Choosing a long-forgotten race, hidden away in an unknown region, the journey of an immortal tank begins. This is the tale of Herald Stone...getting hard. Schedule: Mon-Wed-Fri ~1.8k-2.3k words per chapter. Also published on Scribblehub. My other ongoing story: REND | Royal Road Expect a focus on building a true tank in MMORPGs. Heavy game elements and numbers are present. But actual math will take a backseat to strategies involving skill builds and synergies that steadily become more complex while remaining understandable. The main character is atypical in LitRPGs or web novels as a whole. He might take some getting used to. Character arcs will develop over a long period. What you see now will be different as the main character changes. The start of Getting Hard is slow-paced (more so than others of the genre) and includes world-building and character development before focusing on the LitRPG.
