"Oh and nice jacket by the way." She squeaked before hurting town the hall and Jake laughed. It wasn't until he said that that I realized she was still wearing my hoodie and my heart filled with hope that she might still like me after I was such a pushy idiot!
Y/n pov:
I hurried down the hall to my room and slammed to door shut before throwing myself onto my bed, I wanted to scream into my pillow I was scared they would hear.
What an idiot! I can't even look at him! I'm so embarrassed and I'm only making it worse! He probably already forgot about everything that happened yet I'm so hung up on it all! I'm such an idiot! Ughhhh
Was all I could think as I tried to busy myself with getting ready. I took of my fuzzy pink sweats and Paul's hoodie, I swapped my sweats for a pair of grey ones that would do better on the sand and a long sleeved shirt and grabbed a jacket from my newly unpacked closet and threw it over my arm. I folded Paul's hoodie and checked my hair before heading out to the boys.
"Ready?" Jake said as he got up from the couch and walked towards me, Paul following behind.
"Mhmm" I said as they turned to walk out the door, Jake leading the way and me making up the rear of our single file march out the door. Paul stood in front of me shirtless as always, I could see the muscles tightening and moving in his back as he walked.
He's very attractive
My brain said as if it weren't blatantly obvious this man was as chiseled as a Greek statue of course he was attractive, the universe definitely has favorites.

As Paul stepped one foot out the door I reached out and tapped him on the shoulder, he spun around fast to face me and I almost stumbled back in surprise but his arm grabbed mine and steadied me.
"Yes?" He said timidly as worry flashed over is handsome features. We held eye contact for a second before I looked down at his hand holding my arm, he dropped his arm to his side and I instantly missed his warm touch.
"Um, I know I was wearing your hoodie earlier but that's because I fell asleep in it, I patched it up but haven't had a chance to wash it yet... I just wanted to make sure it got back to you before I tore it up anymore." I said as I lifted the hoodie to him but he didn't reach for it. I looked up at him confused.
Paul pov:
She looked up at me confused with those large doe eyes when I didn't take my jacket back.
"Oh, of course I can wash it before giving it back haha my bad!" She stumbled out awkwardly as she pulled the hoodie back to herself.
"Nah, I already said you should keep it. Plus I thought you were going to wear it to the bonfire?" I said expectantly with a smile on my face, hers turned red in a blush as she locked eyes with me again.
"Uh sure." She said smiling as she put the other jacket that was on her arm on the coffee table before following me out to the car. We climbed in and I saw her smiling to herself as she climbed into the back seat.
Fucking Jake stealing the passenger seat
We pulled out of the driveway and headed straight to the beach, Jake and I were chatting a bit but y/n seemed to be lost in thought as she started out the window.

High school life in a world where everyone has superpowers
So, um... how do I explain this simply? Okay, so... There's a girl, she's er... She's in high school, and, um... She has a superpower that mutes things? Also she lives? Yeah, sorry. The concept's too confusing isn't it? Warning: The stuff below is technically correct, but this fiction, with my other, is now on the failed pledge list. Shocking how a lack of updates for more than half a year actually meant something... Sorry for the delay, still not really up to writing for this series as of now (14/03/18 - remember I'm english, so correct) but I'm still trying to get into writing... Cover is thanks to Zenlith (WriTE's Founding Member). This fiction is signed under the 'The Pledge'... Some internet message in a forum about not dropping or giving a rushed ending in their fiction, otherwise meet the wrath of letting RRL mod Vocaloid have 'fun' with the fiction's description. So mainly for the sake of my fiction due to said wrath, I'll see this fiction through. Updates: up in the air... hopefully the day after this is edited, but we all have dreams. Warning for mild profanity, but it shouldn't happen too much for the innocent out there so don't take the warning to heart.

Web of Isolation
Dane Kain: he was, on the whole, very uninvolved with life. He never had any particularly lingering attachments to life and tended to let himself be carried away by the flow of things, a fact that would become very important after his sudden death when he awoke as something completely alien. Using some half remembered fun facts from his passing obsessions in life as well as a penchant for making things work that simply shouldn't, hopefully Dane will stand a chance as the creation he has now become.

An Average American in A High-school Academy Anime
An American versed in narrative tropes and more than mildly acquainted with anime wakes up in a completely different bed than the one he went to bed in. Now he has to scramble to understand where he is, what's going on, and hope to God he isn't in a relationship drama. I don't expect this to be good or well-received, but I have plenty of time this quarantine, so I'll try to get a chapter of 4000-10000 words out every one or two weeks. (haha) Please let me know how it can be improved. I'm an avid reader of fiction, but I've never really fallen down a rabbit hole so hard that I can name all tropes and settings and such by heart. I'm not sure if this will be effective satire, so I preemptively apologize. Inspired by: "My Life is Not a Manga, or maybe..." by EO Tenkey and "The Simulacrum" by Eganthale. Check them out if you want probably better stories than this one.
