When we arrive at the awakening building the party had seemed to have already been going on for some time. Every kingdom has an awakening building it's a tradition to have alpha Awakenings in the building, you can book it for your own awakening but you have to have money. It took us a while to find some where to park, when we finally found a spot we got out and went inside the building.

Everyone was just as Dressed Up as we where, so many fancy dresses. "I'm going to go get some drinks" Jane said disappearing in to the people, there must be over a hundred people in this building. The music was classy something you wouldn't expect if you seen the party, the music was more of one you would hear a small fancy dinner party. I'm guessing there are so many guests because of the fact the eldest son of the alpha is coming of age so that means they are here to witness the new alpha choose his wolf and possibly his mate.

Then it hit me if he is the new alpha he will also be my new boss, I wasn't sure how I felt about that. "I just seen the birthday man" Jane says emerging from the haze of colorful dresses, "You did, what does he look like?". "Super hot" she says with a dreamy look in her eyes, "where is he?" She pointed over to the champagne table.

Max looked a lot like his father, he is build like his father as well tall and muscular. His hair is dark and slicked back, his face is kinda boyish. He has green eyes and a muscular face, Max looked like a male model.

As the party goes on my current boss/alpha steps up on stage, "ladies and gentlemen may we please have your attention" we all looked up to the stage. His family walked on to the stage standing front and center, "If you would all join me in a toast" he raises his glass, we follow his example and raise our glasses "to my son, the new alpha" he pauses smiling "and our new C.E.O of Earth Corp, my son will begin his new position monday".

When the toast was over we all headed outside for the change, his first change will be a long process like it is for the rest of us. We all stand and watch as our new alpha starts to change, "I want to meet his wolf" Eve said surprising me "why Eve?" She is silent for a moment "I want to see if he is a worthy alpha" she says "who are we to say he is or isnt?" I ask. "Please?" Her please sounded more like a command, but I let her come out anyway.

Many people follow my lead and start to let there wolf's out, I had never been to an alpha awakening maybe it was normal to change during his first change. Eve walked towards Max slowly and sat in front, we watched as he finishes his first change.

His wolf was black pitch black his wolf's size was huge but alphas usually are. Eve walked towards him sniffing him and nudging him to stand, when he gets up they smell each other when Eve was satisfied she blended back in with the other wolf's.

I couldn't really wrap my brain around what just happened, I know that she just wanted to see if he was an good alpha I just didn't quite understand why she went first. She had never been this bold since we where rejected, she mostly sat quietly observing.

Max howled his wolf pushing through the other wolf's, until he came to a little brown wolf. He nuzzled her and howled with joy, they both turned back in to there human form. To my surprise Jane stood there with Max, lovingly looking into his eyes. "Mate" Max said staring into her eyes "Mate" she confirmed jumping into his arms.

They let go of each other and changed back in to thier wolf's, they ran off in to the woods together to spend their first night as mates together. The art of mating is actually a beautiful thing that is always memorable, usually for good reasons because rejecting your mate is rare because they are essentially your other half.

When they where gone I decided to just head home I knew that Jane would not be coming back anytime soon.When I got home I was greeted by my still awake family. "Hey Angel, I didn't expect you this early" Della says from the couch "something unexpected happened" I told her and motioned to the kitchen she nodded. I kissed my babies on the head then followed her in to the kitchen.

"Jane found her mate" her whole face lit up "really?!" She got super excited "yes Alpha Max is her mate" her eyes widened "an alpha?" I nodded "I'm so excited for her". After I was done telling her the story of the night I headed back in to the living room with my kiddos.

I wonder how he will feel about Lucy because she's obviously not his, I hope he is a good man and will accept her as his own. Jane told me that it wasn't planned to have Lucy and she always worried that his mate would reject her because of having a child that wasn't her mates. But she knows as well I do that we would do anything for our children, even if it means we never experience how being happy with your mate is.

Della left excited to go let her family know the big news. I spent the rest of the night with the girls, we watched movies after I put the twins to bed. Willow and Lucy fell asleep watching a cartoon, the bond these two share is remarkable since the moment they met they became inseparable. They a are always asking to stay the night with each other, some times we joke about living together since our girls are so close.
