《Triumph Book 1》Chapter Twenty-Two

I gathered my things as soon as the doctor left I was now on a mission to save my baby, nothing was going to stop me from making her healthy again.
I kissed Trinitys forehead before I left praying to the goddess to keep her safe while I was away. I drove to Jane's next the windows of her house where dark I looked at the time it was about 3am I hated to knock on the door but I needed to let her know what was happening.
Jane came to the door looking half dead and barley awake "is everything okay?" She asked trying to keep herself upright "I know its late im sorry but I have to go out of town..... Jane.....Im not a match I have to talk to her father" I broke down in tears she hugged me until I was able to calm down.
"I understand hun you go a head and I will watch over the girls" she says reassuringly I hugged her tightly "thank you so much Jane, but I need to take them with me I can't leave them here alone".
Jane helped me get the girls in the car, "can you please let tge school know?" She nodded I gave her a big hug " we will be back". When I got back into my car a new anxiety washed over me I was going back to a place I called home so many years ago. I wondered if Willow would recognize it, since I was about to out myself to leon I felt safer to have at least my two girls with me so I can protect them.
The Drive was long but I was determined to make it there as soon as I could, I had no idea where to go I havent seen Matty or Alan in years who knows if they would even help.
"Momma where are we?" Willow asks from the back seat "this use to be our home will" she looks around "I use to live here?" She looks sad for a moment "I remember a little" she says quietly. I don't push because I didn't want to trigger her nightmares, but I could tell that it made her sad to remember it did me too.

I decided to go to Mattys parents house hoping they still lived there, it was about noon when I finally made it to her parents old place. It looked the same like nothing had happened in the years Ive been gone, I walked up the steps listening for people inside I only heard one light weight person I was hoping it was Matty or at least her mom.
I knocked at the door and waited, when the door opened I breathe a small sigh of relief Mattys mom stood on the otherside.
"Audrey?!" She pulls me in to an immediate hug "ive been so worried about you dear" Matty had to have told her about our plan or else I would think the reaction would have been diffrent.
"I would love to catch up with you but I really need to find Matty" I tell her she smiles "promise to catch up later?" I nod and smile at her, she is such a sweet woman. "Matty doesnt live here anymore but she should be home right now ill give you the address" she went into the kitchen and wrote it down, "hey, next time you visit I'd love to meet your girls" she says nodding to the car, I smile and shake my head a little "I will bring them back visit someday soon I promise".
Mattys house was only a few minutes from her moms place, I pulled up to a beautifully build brick house a white fench ran all the way around her house. There was a little girl playing in the yard, her hair was brown put up in pig tails she had a cute yellow dress on.
As I get out of my car the little girl turns to me her green eyes meet mine and she turns and runs into the house, I walk up the steps excited and nervous to see Matty again before I can knock the door swings open.

"Audrey?!!!" I was pulled into a hug before I could even speak, "omg ive missed you so much" she let go and took a step back, she had barely changed she looked like the 16 year old I once knew but it felt like a life time ago. Willow and Serenity got out of the car and quickly came up the sidewalk, "Matty this is Willow and one of my twins Serenity" matty sqeals "hello girls its so nice to meet you I'm your aunt Matty"
Matty invited us inside, her house was beautiful and very tastfully decorated. We walked into her living room the little girl from the yard was sitting infront of the television, "Ava come here honey" Matty motioned her over.
She shyly got up and came to us she kinda hid behind Mattys legs, "Ava this is your Aunt Audrey" I shook her little hand "this is Ava my little princess" I smiled they looked so happy.
"Audrey??!" A manly voice boomed as Alan walked in from the kitchen, "Alan?" I crossed the room and gave him a huge hug. "What are you doing here?" Alan asked "its a long story" I sighed knowing I was just trying to put off the inevitable. We all sat down on her couch, Ava sat on the floor and Serinity and Willow watched tv with her while we talked.
They told me that after Alan Finished faking my death by telling everyone that Ferals finished us off Leon became Alpha and married a lady named Jessa. The information wasnt a suprise but still hurt a little, Matty and Alan found out they where mates at the awakening and the night they met little Ava was conceived and they got married 4 months before she was born.
"So tell me more about your girls, do you have any pictures?" She askes excitedly "their names are Trinity and Serenity they just had there 6th bithday not to long ago" I pause it is still tuff for me to talk about Trinity when im so far away from her. "They where born premature, very premature they almost didnt make it" Matty face was shocked "why where they born premature?"
"When Leon Marked another woman It triggered an early birth, my babies both have many health issues" I grew more sad as I explained "Serinity is Deaf and Trinity is Blind and Trinity is also the reason I'm here"
I looked up at Matty her face was red with Anger "how could he do that?!" She took a deep breathe "is Trinity okay?" Alan asked looking at me concerned "no she isn't, she developed a blockage in both of her kidneys they have began to fail and she needs a Kidney"
Matty gasps and hugs me "I'm so sorry Audrey"
"I'm here to ask leon to save our daughter" both of their eyes widened
"But your supose to be dead, what about willow?" Alan askes alarmed glancing over at Willow.
"Shes safe with me he will never get his hands on her" I say not really sure if I was trying to convince myself or him.
"We will help any way we can" Matty says as she brings Ava into her lap "I know you would do the same for us"
After talking for a while more I knew it was time to go see Leon, I couldnt keep Trinity Waiting any longer.
