Glenn's POV
The next morning I saw Ginger walk out from the house. "Hey can I ask you something" I said as I ran up towards Ginger. "Umm sure" Ginger replied unsure. "Uh do you know if your sister Bridget likes me" I asked while rubbing the back of my neck. "I don't know why do you ask" Ginger replied looking confused. "Oh well thanks" I said before walking away towards Bridget.
Bridget's POV
"Hey" I said as Glenn walked over to me. "Hey" Glenn said taking his hat off and running his hand through his hair. "Listen I'm sorry about yesterday I saw you leaning in so I did the same" I said looking him in the eyes. "Oh uh it's okay" Glenn said rubbing the back of his neck. "I like you and I need to know if you feel the same way" I said with a serious face. Glenn didn't answer me with words he answered me by placing a kiss upon my lips. "W-What was that for" I asked shocked that he kissed me. "You asked if I felt the same about you and there's your answer" Glenn replied. After Glenn said that I pulled him into a hug and then we walked back to the house hand in hand.
Bridget's POV
"Wheres your sister" I heard daddy ask. "I think she's still asleep do you want me to go wake her" Ginger ask handing daddy his out of date newspaper. "Yes please" daddy said before getting more coffee. "Hey uh daddy's looking for you" Ginger said bumping into me. "Okay" I said and walked into the kitchen where daddy was. "Uh you wanted to see me" I said quickly sitting down. "Yeah I did, now tell me the truth, whats going on with you and the Asian" daddy said sipping his coffee. "I like him and he likes me" I said not being able to look him in the eye. "He is 22 and you are 17" daddy said putting his newspaper down. "Can't I love who I love, I mean the world has went to shit I'm pretty sure age difference doesn't matter anymore" I said finally letting out all of my emotions. "Watch your mouth" daddy said before walking outside. "Hey Beth" I said walking into her room. "Hey, whats wrong" Beth said walking over to me. "Do you wanna ride Yankie and Aurora to our special talking spot" Beth said after a while of silence. "Ya" I said before sliding on my converse. When we got to the horses I saddled mine up and Beth saddled hers up. After we got to the spot and I told her what was bothering me she started comforting me then we heard Maggie yelling for us. "Come on we should get back" I said before jumping back on Yankie. We raced back and I won because Yankie is one of the fastest horses we have. "Where'd y'all go" Maggie said when we started putting the horses up. "We went to our spot" Beth said before pulling Maggie and I into a hug. "Come on let's go get some sleep" Maggie said walking to the house with us following.
