Bridget's POV
Daddy is finally up and walking. We are taking a walk around the prison. I look behind me and see a bunch of walkers. "Beth, Daddy in here" I yelled running to a gate. I saw Glenn running towards us with his machete. Maggie, Lori, and Carl went back into the prison. I hope their okay.
A couple of minutes later we all hear a faint baby cry. "Wheres Lori" I asked. Maggie shook her head and started crying more. I walked over and got the baby. It was a girl. "Rick I'm so sorry" I said through tears.
I ran to Glenn and let him wrap his arms around me. "We need to get her some food or she won't survive" Daddy said as we walked inside the prison. "I'll go" Daryl stepped up. "I'll go to" I replied handing the baby to daddy. Daryl and I went to find formula.
*When they get back to the prison*
Glenn's POV
I pulled Bridget into our cell. "Did you check" I asked her. "I'm not" Bridget replied. "How can you be so sure" I asked pulling her close. "I got my period" Bridget replied. Relief suddenly washed over me. "We could" Bridget said after a moment of silence. "How can you say that after Lori" I said with tears daring to come out. She nodded her head and walked outside. "Be careful" Hershel said patting me on my back. After a long ride of silence we arrived at the baby store. "Glenn get that duck" Bridget said. "What" I asked confused. "Get that duck, a baby is gonna need toys growing up in a prison" Bridget replied. I grabbed it and tossed it to her. "Where do y'all pretty folk call home" someone said from behind me. "Merel" I said. "Well holy hell" Merel said. "Is my brother still alive" He asked. "Yeah" I replied with my gun still raised.

"Well what are you waiting for take me to him" Merel said edging closer. "No! You stay here and we bring Daryl out to meet you" I yelled. "Now I don't see why you gotta be like that, I mean it's a mericle we found each other" Merel said stepping closer again. He shot his gun and hit the back window. I ran around the car and Merel had ahold of Bridget and had a gun to her head. "Get in the car Glenn" Merel yelled. "We aren't going back to our camp" I yelled back. "No we're going somewhere else" Merel said pushing Bridget into the car and making me get into the drivers seat.
*Back at Woodbury*
Bridget's POV
It's been about 20 minutes and I can still hear that man named Merel beating the hell out of Glenn. A man that looked around Rick's age walked into the room making me jump. He cut me free. "May I" The man asked referring to the chair across from me. I nodded my head. "Just tell us where your camp is and we'll drive you there and explain this was all just a misunderstanding" The man said after sitting down. "Can I talk to Glenn" I asked. "I'm afraid I can't allow that" He said again. "Let's play a game" He said again. I stayed silent. "Stand up and take off your shirt" He said. "No" I said with a few stray tears rolling down my face. "Do it or I'll bring Glenn's hand in here" He said. I hesitated for a minute but did as I was told. "That's it now take off your bra" He said once I had my shirt off. I did and covered my boobs with my hands. It didn't help much. He took off his gun belt and walked behind me. He grabbed my hands and bent me over the table. "You can do what your gonna do and you can go to hell" I said. Then he picked me up and took me to the room Glenn was in. Once I saw him I ran and hugged him. "Alright we're done with the games, now tell me where your group is or I'll kill him" He said pointing the gun at Glenn.

"A prison" I said. "The one down the road" Merel said. "How many in your group" He asked. "About 10" I replied still crying. "How can 10 people clear out an entire prison" He asked. "There were more" I replied. He them threw me to Glenn and told Merel and another guy to get ready to execute us. Glenn and I made wepons out of walker bones and stabbed 2 guys with them. Then when we were about to die a smoke bomb went off. Rick! I bet it's Rick. "Come on we ain't got much time" Daryl yelled. We then ran back to the car. "Bridget we need to go back for Daryl" Rick yelled. "I-I don't want to go" I cried. Rick nodded then went back the way we came. Glenn got into the car and I followed. "Did he-" Glenn started but got cut off by me. "No he didn't" I replied.
*An Hour Later*
Glenn's POV
Merel came back with Rick and Daryl. "No he's not staying" I yelled after getting out of the car. "Yes he is he's my brother" Daryl yelled back. "He took Bridget to a man who tortured her" I yelled back. "Glenn! Stop!" Bridget yelled. Daryl finally decided to leave with Merel and then we all headed back to the prison.

But the angry ghost trapped inside the blade has other ideas. Buckle up for the brutal LitRPG ride of a lifetime Savage Hunters is an alternate-world neolothic fantasy. Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.
