《if i told you so。↠ michaeng》PRESENT (XVIII)

"Maybe I'm just too desperate for Mina's attention these days." I mumbled.
The day finally ended, Chaeyoung left me on read. Is she mad? I thought.
My introverted ass still don't know how I can approach her, I mean I only have the courage to through texting and I think that'll not work at this time if she'll left me on read again. I went to my locker and brought some textbooks for advance reading. I also brought her hoodie with me, maybe I'll see her on the way.
"Mina!" Someone from not that far called me.
I looked around to search for that voice. Is it Chaeng? Nah, It is Jeongyeon again. Fate is really working on us these days.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Do you mind going home with me?" Jeongyeon asked.
"Oh— Nice hoodie, Where'd you got it from?" Jeongyeon added while touching Chaeyoung's hoodie.
"Uhm— It's not mine" I replied.
"Oh, okay then." Jeongyeon replied.
We walked home together like what she asked earlier. Seriously, what does Jeongyeon needs? Why'd she always ask me for something?
"Mina-yah, be careful on the way okay?" Jeongyeon said.
"Of course." I replied.
"Make sure to eat and sleep well too. I'll go now." Jeongyeon said as she held my cold hands.
"O-okay. thanks." I have no words to reply. She just smiled at it and went inside her dorm building.
I was passing by through the streets full of dormitories, maybe Chaeyoung lives on one of them? I thought. I reached mine and checked for text, perhaps. But still, Chaeyoung is on read. I decided to text her, maybe she'll reply.
I need to go now!!
See you soon.
Hello, are you home now?
I'm really hoping that she'll reply. I decided to read my textbooks while waiting for my delivery. I'm starving and I'm getting hella lazy to cook. The delivery finally came. I paid and brought the foods with me. While eating, I noticed something. The feeling of being lonely. I'm used to it but still, it always seemed like my mind is still trying to adjust.

My phone rang. I rushed to see who texted me.
Hi, Yes I am.
I smiled from ears to ears just by seeing her message. My mind is imagining that the real Chaeyoung's the one who's saying it to me.
I went to my bedroom and changed my clothes. I decided to maybe take a nap because I'm so tired.
"Mina-yah!" A shout was heard from afar.
I turned around to see who's the owner of that voice. Turns out it was from Chaeyoung. She's wearing her cool soldier uniform that suits her very well. I noticed that there's a bandage on her left knee. I couldn't blame her for that. It was what she wanted after all.
"Chaeyoungie!" I smiled. She ran towards me and gave me the softest hug.
There's nothing more I can possibly ask for more than this. It's like my gift from praying for her comeback every training she'll have.
"You smell so good." Chaeyoung said, I was astounded by that.
"Uhm— y-you smell good too—" I replied, stuttering.
"You sure? I smelled like smoke and mud." Chaeyoung jokingly said.
"No matter what you smell, I'll always hug you back." I replied.
"Ahh— so cheesy Mina-yah!!" Chaeyoung said while tightening the hug.
"Why?? It is true!!" I replied back, smiling.

Sturmblitz Kunst: Becoming a Dissident for Martial Arts
"I don't care what you read in some old, dusty tome. You can spend decades chasing an outmoded cultivation method that'll probably lead to a faux-breakthrough trap from the Emperor that turns you into a walking impurity tumor, or you can give me a couple months and I'll teach you how to punch through someone's head." - Zelsys "Sevenfold Storm-conqueror" Newman, Founder of the Newman Family The world at large has just begun its recovery from the nigh-apocalyptic War of Fog. Catastrophic environmental damage and gaping power vacuums stir the cogs of history into motion in the absence of open war, eternally greased by the blood and sweat of ambition. A small duchy in the North of the country now stands at the precipice of upheaval as the burgeoning powers of the new era clash within its borders... Meanwhile, as the survivor of a now-extinct cultivator family struggles for survival in a world that cares not about his social status, the very embodiment of his escapist coping mechanisms forces him to pursue the fantasies of self-determination he had never dared act upon.
