I wake up due to a loud crash sound.
I sit up and look down at Jimins sleeping figure next to mine. I grab my phone and turn the flashlight on, leaving my room to figure out where the noise came from.
Yoongi was staying at Namjoon's house tonight to work on a song so it couldn't have been him.
I walk into the kitchen and notice broken glass surrounding the floor. I step back and shine the flash light up, seeing the window about the counter broken.
"Shit," I curse under my breath realizing that there's an intruder in the house.
"I didn't think it would be this easy to get you," A voice says from behind me and I spin around, my flashlight shining on Jimins mother and two other guys standing with her.
"This is illegal," I say. "You cant break into someone's house,"
"Kidnapping is also illegal but I'm still going to do that," She says casually and one of the guys grabs me. I struggle, trying to fight my way out of his grasp but he wraps his arm around my kneck, squeezing it slightly. "And nobody's going to stop me,"
"What?" I struggle to say, it getting harder to breathe. She looks to the other guy who is still next to her and nods at him. The second guy walks closer to me, covering my nose and mouth with a rag.
I notice what she's doing and try not to breath, but the hand squeezing my thoat makes it harder and I take a deep breath, letting the darkness consume my body, making me go limp.

I stretch and sit up, seeing that Taehyung's not next to me. He normally wakes up first so it doesn't bother me.

I stand up and leave the room to go to the kitchen, rubbing my eyes.
"Taehyung?" I call, not getting a response. I walk into the kitchen and immediately stop. I gasp, covering my mouth with my hand.
"Oh my god," I say, stepping around the glass. "What happened?"
I see a paper on the counter and walk towards it. I pick it up and instantly recognize my mothers handwriting.
Hello son~
I have your little friend
If you want him to be safe, you have to marry Umji, no compromises
If you don't he's going to die and theres nothing you can do about it
Don't tell anyone else, especially not the police or you'll friend here will die
and if you tell anyone, i'll know so don't try telling them secretly, I have my ways of finding out
You know where I am, he's with me to. Come stop by and we'll plan everythiing out
Umji will be with me too but she knows nothing about the boy, so keep your mouth shut
I love you~ see you soon, son
I set the note down and think about everything. I have to marry Umji to keep Taehyung safe, even if it makes me miserable.
I sigh and walk into the living room, sitting down. I put my shoes on and stay on the couch for a while, thinking about everything. How did I not hear them break in last night?
I stand up and walk towards the front door. I leave the house, heading to the place where I know my mother is at.

Then, because things aren't crazy enough, a female voice inside Alf’s head claims he's her avatar. If he doesn't keep her entertained, she'll take back the controls. WARNING: If you like stories that start out with perfect, over-powered, emotionally withdrawn alpha male protagonists, this story isn't for you. If you like stories that start out with physically perfect, demure, wilting-violet female protagonists, this story also isn't for you. If you're looking for harems or murderhoboes or objectification or porn, then you should probably look elsewhere. But if you are a romantic and have the patience to watch two imperfect characters blossom over time, then welcome to my world.
