"Zayn." I turned around and smiled at Chris.
"Hey, how ya doing?" We did a little fist bump and he shrugged.
"Good. But hey, I couldn't help but notice your lil' crush gave you somethin'. What was it?"
"She wrote that I was cute, and said see you tomorrow." Chris cocked a orange eyebrow and ran his hands through his ginger hair.
"Okay, Zayn. Don't get yourself in trouble." He patted my back and went into the back.
"Uhhh. Does everyone know?" I muttered running a hand through my hair.
"Pretty much." Harry hopped onto the counter and shook out his long curly brown hair. "First thing when I walked in, 'Zayn must've got the lil ladies number', 'Zayn and that girl must have had a night in the sheets'." My eyes widened at the last one.
"Oh. Woah." Harry nodded and shrugged.
"But whatever you two are doin', that's your business. Not anybody else's, so don't feel obligated to tell anyone if you don't wanna. Take care." Harry jumped off of the counter and went to a cash register to take someone's order.
20 more minutes...
Taking 6 more customers orders and before I knew it, Ariana was the 7th seventh one in line. This was one of the days she looked more sophisticated and sharp. She wore black pumps, a black skirt that came just above her knees-which showed off her legs and hips nicely-, a bonded cut-out bralet, and her signature sunglasses perched on top of her head.
"Hi." She bit her lip and leaned onto the counter like yesterday.
"Hi. The usual, and pick me up at 6?" I grinned and nodded.
"Yes." I stood there staring at her beautiful features and was totally focused on her until she whispered,

"Zayn, can you get the order now?" My eyes widened and I was off, completely embarrassed. When I came back to the counter she smiled softly.
"Thank you. What should I wear?"
"Something you're comfortable in." She shook her head and gave me the payment for her order.
"You are somethin' Zayn. And I can't wait to learn more about you." She winked and walked out the door.
"Oogly eyes, away." I turned to face Tess as she patted my arm and walked away.
"But she's so damn hot." I whispered, fumbling around with my green apron.

As I walked home, I couldn't help but wonder what tonight would be like. Would she like the food? Would she like me? What would we talk about?
Thousands of questions that just kept my curiosity going.
"You excited for tonight?" I jumped and turned to see Ariana walking by my side.
"Oh my god, you scared me." She smiled and laughed.
"Me? I'm only 5 feet tall. 5"3 or 4 with these heels on all the time." She gestured to her black pumps and looked at me with those gorgeous eyes.
"Yeah...and I am very excited. In fact, I may be more excited than you." Okay, now that makes me sound desperate.
"Oh, I don't know about that one Zaynie." I smiled at the nickname and I assumed she knew I liked it because her eyes lit up.
"You know quite a bit about me, and I only know a little about you...so I think I'm more excited to find you out." She shook her head.
"Sure, I don't even know your last name."
"It's Malik. Zayn Malik." She smiled and held out her hand. I stopped walking and slowly shook it, giving her a confused look.

"Ariana Grande. Nice to meet you, Zayn Malik." We both started laughing like crazy, and then we both stopped in front of my building.
"Well this is my stop." We said in usion.
"It looks like I'll be meeting you at your door then." I laughed and she shrugged.
"I guess so. Floor 6, room 458." She bit her lip and headed inside as I stayed behind and was struck with awe.
"I can't believe she's gonna go on a date with me."
***
"Good luck, mate!"
"Thanks, Niall. You have good luck with that meeting."
"Thanks. Bye."
"Bye." I hung up the phone and started putting my tie on. Thankfully, I succeeded. I started shutting off all the lights in the apartment and locked the door after I made sure I had my wallet. I walked to the elevator, going down to floor 6.
I slowly walked down the hallway and finally found the door. Her door. I took a deep breath and then knocked.
"One second!" This just made me way more nervous. Seconds later, Ariana Grande appeared in front of me. The girl who came to my job for 6 months and 23 days was going out with me tonight.
She wore a white strapless dress that ended at her mid thigh, her hair in a half up, half down style, and lace white flats making her look so cute as her original height. She looked up at me and smiled.
"Hey there." I smiled and held out my hand and she took it.
"I hope limos aren't too cheesy for you." I said as we exited the elevator and walked over to the long dark vehicle.
"Oh my, you didn't have to Zayn." I smiled and opened the door for her and gestured her in.
"C'mon, Ari." She jumped up and kissed my cheek, then crawled in. I grinned and slipped in behind her.

A D&D Gamer in Garweeze Wurld
He doesn't know how he got here, and while the trappings are familiar, he doesn't actually know where he is, either. From the perspective of those around him, Duromar is a half-ogre barbarian, an uncivilized brute by any standard you care to use. But from his perspective, he's a character created in a gaming system. From either one, he must live within the rules of that system. This is the story of a gamer who ends up in a game that's just a bit off from what he knows. ---- I wanted to write something a little bit old-school. Most of the LitRPG I've found seems to be based on computer RPG styled stories. Progression through levels is fast, and depending on the game, skills and even attributes can be trained with or without class levels. This wasn't true with the older pen and paper games, and that's the style of leveling I wanted to write.

Edge of the Storm
A thousand years after narrowly escaping extinction, humanity still fights for survival on the fringe of space. On the alien, hostile world of Deana, Taro is tasked with dealing a mortal blow to an enemy that has pursued the last dregs of the human species across light years. From the Wild Summer hyper-carrier, Taro must strike out at an enemy that seems like it would stop at absolutely nothing to ensure humanity's time in the universe draws to an end. The key to it all is Valerie, a human bred super-weapon, and the discovery she makes aboard the enemy craft Delirium. What to expect from Edge of the Storm: You will find here a slow burning story that is punctured by moments of high flying action, intense mecha battles, gory hand-to-hand combat, tough decisions and sacrifices. What you won't find are black and white morals, harems, cute girls, big boobs, or anything else that might bring me troves of readers. You have been warned. Update schedule: Saturdays (and maybe Wednesdays).
