I exhaled a sigh of relief as I placed my hands on the person's shoulder.

Raising my eyes, I was greeted by a pair of the ocean blue eyes that were brimming with rage and pain as they stared back at me. I clenched my teeth and tried to pull away from him, but he tightened his grip on me.

While I stared into his eyes, my own rage simmered within me.

With rage and possessiveness he wrapped his arm around my waist and drew me close. As fierce hunger burned in his eyes, his chest touched mine. I could see his eyes darken as he drew me even closer to him, making our noses touch.

My heart pounded against my chest as everything around us seemed to fade away.

"Dance with me," he said, gritting his teeth and tightening his grip. My nostrils flared in defiance, and he clenched his jaws even tighter, as if he understood.

"I swear to the fucking god, Ella, I'm going to fucking murder that fucking asshole for touching you," he growled lowly into my ears.

I felt a shiver of pleasure run down my spine. I knew he was serious, but I didn't make a move; instead, I just stared at him as defiance surfaced from my body.

"Dance with me, touch me just like you touched him." He clenched his teeth, his breath blowing in my face.

I violently shook my head.

His jaws ticked; my heart pounded against my chest.

"Why?" He growled, drawing me in even closer if that was possible.

I remained silent as my heavy breath fanned his face while I glared at him murderously.

"Did you enjoy his touch? Do you have feelings for him?" He clenched his teeth and hissed into my ears, tightening his grip on me.

I remained silent as he growled softly. But I could still see the pain and anguish in his eyes.

Why?

"None of your business," I gritted into his face.

He clenched his jaws even tighter, pressed his nose against my neck, and inhaled heavily.

"It's not none of my fucking business. Nobody tampers with what is mine." He growled.

"I am not yours"

He chuckled darkly.

"Oh, but you definitely are," he murmured, his nose caressing my jaws.

My insides melted, but my anger remained. I attempted to push him away, but he tightened his grip.

"I didn't sleep with her," He said softly as he looked at me in the eyes.

I stared into his eyes, emotions swirling in them which even I didn't understand.

"I swear I didn't do it. I know it sounded that way, and I've been trying to explain myself for the last hour, but you just seem to vanish, or some arseholes are attempting to get your attention" He clenched his jaw.

"You don't believe me, I know. But I swear to God, I swear to the fucking God, Ells, I didn't sleep with her. Nona persuaded her to sleep in my room because I hadn't stayed at the Mansion the night before. And maybe she left her earnings there last night."

There were so many rooms to choose from, but she had to stay in his.

But I didn't speak my thoughts aloud instead I locked my gaze with his. I knew he was telling the truth. He never lied, as far as I can tell. He was far too arrogant to ever tell a lie. I believed him, and I won't lie, the relief in my chest was indescribable.

I remained silent. I was filled with guilt and didn't know how to deal with it.

And, as the music began to play, I placed one of my hands on his chest, staring into his eyes. His eyes darkened as he took my hand in his and twirled me around, causing my back to touch his chest.

My insides screamed with delight, and my breathing became labored. His nose caressed my neck as he swayed both of us by placing both of his hands possessively on my hips.

I closed my eyes as euphoric shivers ran down my spine.

"People are watching," I said quietly.

"Let them. Let them to see what's fucking mine." He growled and spun me around, bringing my chest to meet his while our noses touched.

I stared into his ocean blue eyes which stared back at my dull brown ones. I couldn't believe how good I felt after hearing his revelation.

"You didn't answer my question," he murmured, pressing his nose against my jaw and stroking my back possessively.

When I didn't respond, he squished my ass.

"I don't like him," I grumbled as I closed my eyes.

"Did you enjoy how he touched you?" He growled, bringing our bodies closer together and squeezing us again.

"We were hardly close," I moaned softly.

"I wouldn't call that hardly close," he growled, staring into my lips.

I licked my lips, the desire to slam my lips against his was unfathomable, but I knew we couldn't do it here. Despite the fact that the lights were turned down, some people here had supernatural vision.

The shrill ringing of my phone could still be heard, but my mind was only on one thing.

Sebastian.

"Come with me," I said quietly.

I didn't wait for his response; instead, I dragged him down the hall, where the lights were dim and no one was in sight.

I was pushed against the wall before I could turn around, and he slammed his lips against mine.

While I pulled his tie down, his hands obsessively encircled my waist, drawing me closer.

Our tongues brushed against each other, causing both of us to moan. I sucked his tongue, causing him to moan. We wrestled for dominance, and I kissed him like there was no tomorrow, expressing all of my hunger, frustrations, sadness, guilt, apologises and desire in that kiss.

He drew me in and growled into the kiss.

"Fucking mine."

We kissed for what seemed like an eternity, tongues clashing, lips squeezing, and then stopped to breathe.

His pink, lush lips were swollen, and he had red lipstick smeared on them. I started laughing even though I couldn't stop taking in some oxygen.

He looked at me, puzzled, but a beautiful smile grazed his lips as his hands on my hips drew me closer.

"What happened?" He murmured, kissing my nose.

"It looks like you just put on some lipstick," I laughed as I leaned against him and titled my head to look at him.

It felt incredible.

" I do, don't I? But it's all good, right? Everyone will know I'm yours." He murmured as he caressed my neck with his nose.

I had no idea, but this was something I liked.

"Do you-do you belong to me?" I asked quietly.

"I do-I did the fucking moment you walked into that apartment," he said softly, his gaze drawn to mine.

I sighed softly. I was happy. Cut that, I feel like I'm breathing fresh air for the first time in a long time.

"Doyou?" he gulped, taking his gaze away from me,

"Do you belong to me?"

I smiled.

"I do, I did the moment you kissed me for the first time, I knew I'd never find anyone to kiss me like that again," I teased softly, gazing into his ocean blue eyes.

His eyes shone with a new light, and a huge grin touched his facial expression, making him appear so much younger than his age.

"That's right. Nobody will ever kiss you the way I do." He nipped my earlobe with a playful growl.

While I was laughing.

"But I can give it a shot," I joked, tucking one of my fingers under my chin.

"The hell you will," he growled as he pulled me in for another passionate kiss.

We kissed for an unspecified period of time before pulling away and leaning against each other's foreheads, breathing heavily.

"Mine." He kissed my brow and whispered.

"So? Are we in a relationship?" My cheeks were flushed as I wondered out loud.

He laughed.

"Nope, we're married."

I rolled my eyes as he chuckled.

"Let me first see if I can bear you as a boyfriend. Husband entails a life-long bonding experience" While he narrowed his eyes, I pretended to shudder at the thought.

My insides were giddy with delight.

"Can't help it, you're stuck with me for a lifetime," he shrugged, understanding my joke and drawing me closer.

"Too bad," I pouted.

"Too bad it is," he murmured, kissing my pouted lips and sighing contentedly.

We lingered there for a while, laughing at each other, before leaving the empty hall and returning to the event with a lighter heart.

But in my life, happiness and bliss are not constant. It seems to last only a few moments before it leaves me in even more pain than before.

While I was removing my phone from my purse, Sebastain stood behind me and placed his hands on my hips, as if he couldn't help himself.

I rolled my eyes at his antics, but I wouldn't say, I complained. I liked how he was so enamored with me.

My phone began to ring again, drawing my attention to it.

Little brother,

The caller ID was read. Before answering the phone, I frowned.

Perhaps he needed something.

And as soon as I answered the phone, his screams, his helpless cries, pierced my ears.

My world was collapsing around me. While my surroundings faded, his frantic voice said something and those were the only words that ecoed in my surrounding.

Someone was shouting my name and shook my shoulder, but I wasn't there.

Because the only thing that consumed me was pain-the pain that made me feel like it was tearing my heart apart.
