It's been a week since their marriage. Everything has been going great for them. Even though they were not a couple in love, they were being extra happy since then. Kiara resumed her work again.
It was a sunday evening and Vihaan was working in his laptop.
"Vi, Vi, Vi." A loud shout could be heard from outside the room. A sigh escaped his lips as he closed his laptop and went towards the kitchen.
"Vi. Can you please come here?" She again shouted.
He came and noticed her cooking something with a spatula in her hand. Her attention was solely on the pan.
"I am here, angel."
She looked up to him confusingly and asked, "Why are you calling me angel? I am a human."
"Because I want to."
She huffed and asked him to bring black pepper from the upper shelf.
"You called me for that?" He raised his eyebrows.
"Yeah. Now do it, fast."
He rolled his eyes and took it out.
He came behind her due to which their closeness increased. Her breath hitched because of it. She could feel her heartbeat quicken.
"What are you making?" He asked in his deep voice.
She turned around to face him. But he didn't moved back.
"Rice cake." He noticed some flour in her forehead. He used his thumb to remove it all while they kept staring at each other's eyes.
Then he moved back. They didn't like the distance between them but slow steps, right?
"It's a korean dish. You would like it." She then turned back her attention to the heating pan.
He took the table behind the counter and kept observing her. His eyes not leaving her for once. She, known to his stare didn't dare look up.
Kiara then picked a rice cake with a fork and moved it towards Vihaan indicating him to taste it.
He opened his mouth and ate it.
"How's it?"
"It's kinda spicy. But it's tasty."
She smiled widely feeling happy that he liked her food.
They had a happy meal as she continued to express her love for the korean dish.

It was a lovely evening for Kiara as she was making dinner. The glorious shine of the moon reflecting in every corner of their living room through the huge glass pane.
She was finished with the preparation of dinner. Today, she decided to make Vihaan's favourite food.
Throughout the time they have spent together, she has came to know many of his likings. They have grown a lot closer to each other.
She has started caring for him a lot more than her liking. But how can she hold back herself when he always makes her smile, give her comfort and warmth. She loves having his company around her. She feels very comfortable and safe with him. He always make all of her worries go away.
She isn't new to these feeling but she's scared to fall for him as he loves someone else. It scares her that she'll be heartbroken.
She stares towards the clock. It was 8:30. Usually, he comes around 7 or 8.
An idea struck in her devil mind as she decided to prank him. She took her phone and called him.
She cleared her throat before he picked up the phone.
"Kiara. I'm on my-"
"Vi, I'm scared. There's a person-" She spoke in her quavering voice as she acted out very cleverly.
"Kiara. Are you okay? What happened? Which person?" He asked in his panicked voice. He was scared as he heard his angel's frightened voice.
"There's someone in the house. I don't know. Please come home Vihaan. Fast."
He was agitated. He didn't wanted any harm to his wife. "Someone, who? Wait, I'm coming Kiara. Please, be safe angel." He said in his shaky voice.
Kiara cut the call. She was happy that the prank did go well but she was scared about Vihaan's anger.
He drove faster towards his apartment. His mind playing different types of scenarios.
When he reached, he quickly climbed up the stairs not bothering to wait for the lift. His breath fastening. He was ready to kill the person who wanted to hurt his angel. He just wanted her safe.
When he reached his floor, he didn't noticed any one outside. He quickly unlocked the door and went inside. There was no one present there.

"Kiara, where are you?" He was panicking as he started looking everywhere for her.
When he was passing through the doorway towards the bedroom, a figure suddenly jumped infront of him, "Boo."
But he didn't moved one single of his body as he kept looking at the person infront of her who was smiling widely.
"What Vi. You didn't get scared." She fake frowned to him.
"Kiara." His eyes softened at the sight of her and he immediately wrapped his arms around her. He hugged her tightly not wanting to ever let her go.
She was initially shocked but then melted in his arms and swathed her hands around his neck. No matter what, he always manages to make her feel sheltered around him.
He tightened his hold around her as he was relieved that she was fine.
He removed his arms and stared directly into her eyes. His face showing the look of pain.
"What the hell Kiara? What type of stupid prank is this?" He lashed out and ran his fingers through his hair to calm himself down.
He looked towards her and said, "Do you know how much scared I was. I thought what if something happened to you. I ran like crazy in hopes to protect you. That was such a childish act, Kiara."
He covered his face with both of his hands and then took a deep breath.
Kiara started feeling guilty as she looked upto his state. When she noticed his dishevelled face, she reached out her hand to hold his arm but he pulled away. "Don't."
She looked down to her fingers fidgeting, a habit of hers when she's nervous. Tears started to fall from her eyes as she didn't thought her prank would turn out like this.
"I-I just wanted a harmless prank as you were late. I didn't thought it like this. I-I'm sorry, Vihaan." She stuttered still looking down.
When he noticed her tears, all his anger disappeared. His heart melted right away, looking at his angel crying.
He reached out to her and again wrapped his arms around her shaking figure. She burst into another round of tears as she cried loudly in his chest. He started caressing her silky hair trying to calm her down.
He didn't like the sound of her wailing. It saddened him. Her smile was the only thing he wanted.
"Shh, baby. It's alright. You just wanted to prank me, right? No harm. It's okay."
He wiped her tears and stroked her cheeks gently. He softly brushed his lips on her forehead and let it linger there for a few seconds.
"It's okay."
She stopped sobbing and looked up to him. "You aren't angry?"
"I can never." She smiled at this.
"I made your favourite dish." His heart started jumping.
"You did. Let's go. I'm hungry."
He scooped her in his arms and led her to the kitchen to fulfill their stomach.

It was 8 pm at night when Vihaan came back home from his office. Kiara was sitting in the couch in the living room when he entered the apartment.
She noticed a huge bouquet in his hands. It was assorted with diferent kinds of flowers in a dainty way including a pink rose and a white sunflower. It's fresh aroma and it's artistic style enchated her.
She raised an eyebrow and a smirk form its way in her face, "New Girlfriend, huh?". She teased him.
He rolled his eyes and said, "Well you see. My wife threatened to kill me on our wedding night if I cheated on her. So, I can't even dare to."
She laughed at this. "So, is it for me?", she pointed a finger at herself hoping he would say yes otherwise it would be her embarrassing for her.
He innocently nodded at her. She was ecstatic to say. She immediately lunged at him gave him a peck on his cheek.
He was stilled. Her soft lips felt so heartwarming against his skin. He kept staring at her as she took the bouquet from his hands.
"Thank you, Vi. You're the best." She smiled at him.
He patted her cheeks and was pleased to her happy. It warmed his heart.

El's Revenge
“Revenge is not for the dead- we, as the living, take revenge to relieve the burden we feel,” I whispered into the air. “Salvation for the people who suffered because of you,” I watched as the city burned in the flames. “Salvation for the people like me, who believed in the proclaimed heroes when in reality they were the devils.” I smiled faintly as the ‘holy land’ of those ‘saints’ was destroyed. I heard rustling sounds as Charlotte came to stand next to me, grabbing my hand. “El, are we the bad guys?” If I was still the same as I was before, I might’ve broken down and started crying. Now, it was different. “A villain is just another victim. They cry and mourn, it’s just that no one heard, leading them into madness. It’s one of the reasons why we know the most, but care the least.” I took a deep breath. “We may be the bad guys in other peoples’ eyes, but in my story, we’re the heroes.” Charlotte took in my words for a while and pondered, before nodding in agreement. “As children, we loved the heroes, as adults we understand the villains.” I looked at her and bonked her on the head, earning an angry glare from her. “Hey! You’re barely an adult yourself you know,” she grumbled. I laughed and ruffled her hair, before countering her. “At least I’m not 12. You can’t even be considered a teenager at that age.” After that, we silently watched the flames ravage the land, before leaving.
