《Otome game in a reality》Second route; 9. Blackmailing the system

Imagine there is one game and you're the main character.
By choosing the things appear in the game and following the missions, you'll meet either bad or good endings.
But what happens when the main character won't follow the rules and disappear from the stage? The system will probably do everything it can to get the MC back or will find another character.
In my case I don't think there's another MC that can replace Asuka. Sakura might do but the plot will have to change dramatically. That's why I beat up this bully girls brutally. I'm not even feeling bad about what I did because they're just a fictional characters.
The reason why I went berserk is after this incident the school will expel a student like me immediately if I don't prove that it was a self defense.
I've a proof. Whether I get expelled from here or remain here will depend on how much points the game will offer me.
I can hear a lot of commotion outside of the infirmary where I'm being treated. Those girls went to the hospital to get further treatment since their injury was a bit severe thanks to me.
"How can you injure my precious daughter? What the hell were you and teachers were doing?"
"I can't make my daughter live with a monster like her. She has two broken ribs and now in hospital, still crying for help. Let me see her! I'll teach that impudent b*tch a lesson!"
"But sir, this student is also injured badly and receiving treatment right now. You have to wait until the school director arrive from the hospital.."
"Don't stop me! I'll make her suffer the same pain my daughter did"
"...."
Noisy, noisy.
The rich and arrogant parents who dotes on their daughters were yelling in frustration and even threatened the school nurse. Fortunately school nurse was doing her best to prevent them from entering.

The system was still oddly quiet.
If they don't give me enough points I'll even beat up these people outside and ruin this scenario. I've nothing to lose since I already died once anyway.
Furthermore I'm exhausted.
Always trying to get on Sora's good side and acting like a kind girl is annoying.
They say people who have nothing to lose is the scariest kind.
The system must notice this and give me enough points. Since Sora isn't planning to lock me up anyway they can't just force a bad ending on me.
"Ouch..." I hissed from the pain I felt on my knuckles.
"Oh sorry, does it hurt? How can you hurt yourself like this?" Sora quickly apologized and continued to apply medicine more carefully.
The weird thing is why is this kid, despite seeing me in that horrible situation before is still helping me? He knows how terrible I acted yet he was still behaving the same.
Isn't he disappointed? After all his idol figure, loving kind sister just beat up those girls like a beast. Instead he seems to blaming those girls.
"We should go to the hospital and look for a doctor who can actually treat you. All that nurse did was give you medicine and bandage your wounds half heartedly. But you're still bleeding and there's bruises all around your body"
"Don't worry. They're necessary bruises"
Indeed they'll play a huge role if I were to prove my innocence. I purposely let them hit me few times and sometimes they would make a surprise attack. I had a hard time winning against them because of their numbers. Fortunately they were too foolish and none of them seem to brave enough fight against a strong individual.
They were just a bunch of bullies who gang up on others by using their background as an advantage. The moment that advantage disappears, they panicked and their brain stopped working altogether.

"What're you talking about? Did you hit your head?" Sora seems to be half joking. His expression almost made me feel bad for hurting myself.
Almost.
The gentle green letters appeared. Did they think threatening me with negative points will win over me, who is about to ruin everything?
What a shame. Only a fool would miss my intention and do something like this.
"Look the school director is here!"
"Hey! Can you explain what's going on?"
"Why did you enroll a student like her?"
"The school must take responsibility"
"Everyone please remain calm. I'll go inside and meet the culprit. Acting without thinking will only make you look bad"
Hearing him everyone went silent and the door opened revealing a man in his mid 40s. With a combed hair and office suit he looks like a rich businessman.
Now wasn't time to be admiring him because he looked serious in a bad way.
"Please leave the two of us alone, Ikeda-kun" he glared at Sora. He seems to know him because to skip grades Sora must've received his permission.
"But.." he looked at me worriedly as if asking for permission.
"Go outside and find something to eat. Knowing you, you probably forgot to eat again"
"The food isn't the important matter here! How can I leave you with him?!"
He pointed his finger towards the direction shamelessly. I knew he act overprotective sometimes but isn't that a bit too much?
"Mind your manners, Sora. Thanks for treating my injuries but you must leave now. Remaining here will only be a hindrance to me"
Although my words were kinda harsh he just nodded and left.
"Your injuries look quite severe. Why didn't you go to the hospital?"
"Don't have money"
"I see" he sighed and sat next to my bed.
"Why did you do that?"
"Because I wanted to"
"Just because you wanted to?"
"Yes"
Did they think I'll be afraid of something like that?
I know they can't raise the penalty on the mission. I don't know if it's a rule or something but system can't take points more than 100 at once. From the beginning the punishment of reaching the bad ending was only -100 points and four days to spend here.
Why add four days? Because the -100 point wasn't enough to be considered as a proper punishment. Why can't the game just add the deduction points without adding those four days? It's because as I said before they can't take more than 100 points at once from the player.
"Don't you have something to say?" The director asked. He looks like a cold man but in truth I knew he wasn't. He only asked because he wanted me to remain in this school.
"I don't have."
"You'll be expelled from school at best"
"I know and I don't care"
This time it wasn't a mission but a request. Now I'm sure there's someone controlling the game and wanting me to follow the rules badly.
"Really? But your future will be ruined if you continue to act stubborn. At least apologize"
"Don't want to. They deserve it"
The director sighed deeply once again and got up, slowly walking towards the door.
So the 300 is the limit huh?
"But I'll prove that it was a self defense" I said to the director and it stopped him from opening the door.
That's what I call blackmailing.

The Sun's Remnant
Two people are transported to a world with magic, but it is no Wonderland. When the god of light died, he decided to take the world with him. At least, that’s what many believe in the Kingdom of Rhine, a once vast kingdom of which only a small corner remains — and even that is threatened. On one side, by the Twisted Forest, a corruption spreading from the deathplace of the gods that has already swallowed up most of Rhine. On the other, by the resurgent Kagrathan Empire, resurrected by the infallible God-Emperor Karlatz. A holy order of knights carry out their mission despite the death of their god. A band of talented misfits prepare for a heist out of their league — by stealing. Mages hunt for secrets even as the world ends. A ruler does what must be done to save the living, no matter the cost. Into this world of magic and murder, two adrift souls are inexplicably dragged: a mother estranged from her young daughter due to her own mistakes, and a young man with a love of fantasy who has gradually drifted away from his friends and family. As they each struggle to find their place in this world, they must also answer the question: do they want one?***Content Warning: I've drafted about 100,000 words (most of the first volume), and there is no sexual content so far, though I may add it in the future. There is occasionally gore and traumatising content as the story demands. I commit to keeping all of the above non-voyeuristic. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
