《Lean On Me • {Jared Padalecki}》06. TONIGHT AT EIGHT

"Wiiiiiiillowwwww!" Willow heard her best friend hollering her name from somewhere across the set and rolled her eyes at the people she'd been talking to before taking off to go find him.
When she finally did find him, he smiled at her goofily and motioned to the fake stab wound on his arm that was seemingly slipping right off of him.
"What the hell did you do, Moose? That thing was basically super-glued on!" she told him, and he shrugged.
"My muscles are too big and it fell right off," he said, and Willow exchanged an eye roll with Jensen, who was standing nearby. He showed her the similar stab wound on his own arm, which seemed to be holding on just fine.
"Dammit, J. We're gonna have to go back to makeup to fix that," she told him, and he nodded, following her as she took off toward the makeup trailer.
"Hey. Is something up with you today?" Jared asked her, catching up to her easily.
"No, I'm good," she said, and he immediately put his hand on her shoulder and spun her around so that she was facing him.
"Who are you talking to, Willow? We've spent literally every single day together for the last six months. There's something going on," Jared said, a firm look on his face.
Tears immediately rose to Willow's eyes as they often did when she was stressed out and she turned out of Jared's grasp, reaching for his hand to lead him to the makeup trailer so that they could talk in some sort of relative private.
"So?" Jared asked once they reached the trailer, sitting down in one of the chairs and watching as Willow sorted out all the things she'd need to reattach his wound.

"I, uh... my brother and I had this huge fight last night and I'm just... I'm just feeling really shitty, to be honest with you," she told him, and he nodded slowly. "I've been on the verge of a panic attack all morning and I always try my hardest to keep this side of me away from work, but it's just not working today."
"Wait... what side of you?" he asked curiously, looking at her with eyes that she almost couldn't resist.
"The side that's an absolute mess, basically," she told him, and he scoffed.
"Willow, I don't care if you're a mess. Everyone is a mess. I sure as hell am. You don't have to try to hide the fact that you're a regular human," he told her, causing her eyes to fill with tears again. He automatically reached for her, obviously sure he'd said something wrong.
"You're too sweet," she told him, smiling as she took his extended hand between both of hers.
"Let me make you dinner tonight," he said unexpectedly, smiling at her in a way that made her heart feel like it was going to soar out of her chest.
She'd only actually been to Jared's house a couple of times; usually if they were spending time together, it was either on set, out and about doing something, or at her place because it just so happened to be closer to set. The thought of going to his house, of having him make her dinner, of being on a kind-of date with him made her extremely nervous.
She stared at him, watching as his smile turned from sweet to goofy.
"I won't be chopping you up and making you for dinner, if that's what you're worried about," he told her, laughing at himself. She laughed with him and rolled her eyes.

"That's not it... it's just that that sounds mysteriously like a date," she told him, and he smiled at her again.
"Well, maybe it is and maybe it isn't," he said, and she rolled her eyes again.
"That's... informative," she said, and he laughed again. He was about to speak when a voice flooded through the earpiece she always wore on set. She raise a finger to silence Jared's statement and then laughed, looking down at the fake wound on his arm that she was just about done with.
"I'm being told that they're going to kill us both if I don't get you and your stab wound back out there," she told him, also muttering a quick reply into the walkie-talkie on her belt. Jared nodded, smiling at her again.
"Tonight at eight?" he asked, and before allowing herself to really think about it, she nodded and smiled back at him.
"Tonight at eight," she confirmed, watching as he walked out of the trailer, dramatically swinging his butt as he went to make her laugh.

The watcher of universe and stuff.
The most devastating thing to an eternal being must be boredom. If nothing can change you, how can you yourself change? Sometimes you have to learn that the hard way. I should point out that there are multiple lead characters and they will all have their own personalities and motivations. While the story will focus more on our MC Trey, you can expect multiple POV switches. If you do not like POV switches, this might not be for you. My first book. If anyone will ever read this, be so kind as to leave a comment. Even, if all you say is an insult. As long as I can improve this work by your comment, it's all fine. One thing’s for sure. I will keep writing as if my reader can handle curse words without curling into a little ball and repeatedly saying: "Leave my safe-space alone, you monster". Therefore, you can expect some profanity.
