3rd Person Pov
"What?"
"I'm sorry Y/N, but it is true."
"No. no. You're lying."
"I'm not."
"I-i don't even know who you are! How am I supposed to trust you!?" She rambled.
"That's not important."
"I'm not going to kill my husband!" Y/N screamed to the mysterious voice in the white room. She refused to believe what she was hearing.
"You have to. You have to be a hero."
"B-but that's not fair! I did what I was supposed to. I did everything I was supposed to!"
"Heros sacrifice their love to save the world." The voice pronounced.
"But I cant! I need him." Y/N argued.
"Yes, you can my child. For the sake of the wizarding world, for the future generations." The voice continued.
"I c-cant. I can not live without him." Y/N said as tears started streaming down her face. She couldn't lose him. She couldn't lose the father to her child. The love of her life.
"It will be hard, I understand but you have to. You've no choice."
"Why me? WHY ME!?" She screamed, pain overcoming her mind and body, her entire life. She collapsed and fell onto her knees, her face buried in her palms.
"Y/N. Be strong. I'm sorry that it has to be this way." The voice whispered, sorrow evident in its tone.
"You are the only hope of the wizarding world Y/N."
"I know but I'm not ready to sacrifice Mattheo. I just cant." She cried. Her eyes were swollen and red, her rose was running and her sleeve was soaked with tears.
"If he dies then there's no reason for me to live."
"Yes, there is. Don't you say that. Think about Osiris. She needs to grow up in a peaceful world, she's your reason to live." The voice said, giving her the strength she needed at that moment.
"For Osiris," Y/N repeated, placing her hand on her belly, tears dripping onto it.
"I need to do this for Osiris."

And with those words, she broke free of his spell. The spell that Voldemort had her under. Coming back to her senses she found herself on her knees, holding her head with the throbbing pain she was feeling. Voldemort stood in front of her, holding the sword she had conjured not moments before.

As Y/N wiped her tears with the back of her hand, Voldemort placed the tip of the sword on her chin, making her look up at him. She was drained of all energy but she had to fight back.
"Oh, you poor child. The truth stings doesn't it?" Voldemort teased, relishing in his cheap human thrill.
Y/N was cornerd, there was no way she would be able to make it out of this situation. Voldemort was going to kill her and her child. Looking around frantically she searched for a way out.
"I shall now behead you with this sword that you have so conveniently created for me and Mattheo will learn that there is no such thing as Love." He said, spitting out the last word as if it were venomous.
The tip of the blade began to make its way deeper into Y/N's throat but within seconds Voldemort was being held back by a great force, knocked down onto the floor.
"DO WHAT YOU NEED TO! I'LL KEEP HIM AT BAY!" Professor McGonagall screamed, holding him down.
Y/N immediately got up with weary feet and stumbled over to Mattheo. She fell onto the floor beside him, sobbing.
"Shh, what's wrong love?" Mattheo asked, bringing her into a hug.
"Y-you're..." Y/N trailed off, hiccuping from the tears.
"It's okay, you can tell me. I've got you." He comforted her, his heart aching at seeing her in pain.
"You're the last Horcrux." She managed to mumble out.
Mattheo's heart sank.
"W-what?" He stuttered, unable to form words. His mind was racing as was his heart.
"You're the last one. That's why he didn't die."
In his mind, Mattheo had a million questions he wanted to ask, a million moments he wanted to share with Y/N. Knowing that he wouldn't be there for it anymore broke his heart into little pieces. He would miss the birth of Osiris, her first steps, her first day of school, scaring her boyfriend at prom night, walking her down the aisle and every single day of loving Y/N.
He would miss out on all the beautiful things he had planned. He didn't want to cry in front of Y/N but the thought of never being able to meet his child, the thought of dying without getting the chance to love Y/N properly, made him weep. He had spent so many years hating her with a pointless rivalry and he would never get to make up for it.

"I- I will find another way," Y/N said frantically getting up.
"This can't be how our story ends, I'll save you. I will. I'll find a way."
Her mumbling grew stronger as she got to her feet, stumbling around to find an answer to her problem. To find anything that would help her save him. Voldemort was making his way through the sheild that was holding him back. They did not have much time.
"There has to be another way!"
Mattheo grabbed her wrist. She turned around to look at him sitting on the ground, his eyes filled with tears.
"It's over Y/N." He said.
"no, No! Don't you say that!"
"This is the only way."
"No, no there has to be another way, I can't lose you too."
Mattheo only nodded his head. Sadness overcame his heart.
"Please Mattheo. Please don't leave me." She whispered.
"You can do this Y/N. You could never hurt me, my love." And with that Mattheo placed the sword of Gryffindor in Y/N's palm.
"Please."
"It's okay, I love you so much." He said, holding her hand, tears rolling down his cheeks. He pulled Y/N closer before kissing her belly and saying, "Hey Osiris. You won't be able to meet daddy but I promise mommy will take such good care of you. I want you to know that I love you very very much."
Y/N took a few steps back and looked into the deep mahogany eyes of her husband, one. last. time.
"I love you. I will always love you."

Eleven Years Later.
The village of Hogsmeade was bustling with people. The warm temprature was inviting and calm. Kids bought piles of candy and adults drank merrily at the three broomsticks. The students of Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry were on a field trip as this day marked 11 years since the battle of Hogwarts.
Walking down the winding path Osiris held onto Y/N's finger with her hand. It was a bright summer day with birds chirping melodious songs and trees thriving with green leaves. Every single stone on the path had been inscribed with the names of the people who had fought in the battle of Hogwarts.
"Let's go meet daddy, Osiris," Y/N said to the child, a faint smile on her face. Osiris lit up and started running down the path. Y/N chased after her giggling along the way.
Reaching the gates she finally caught her and picked her up before tickling her. Osiris laughed out loud from which the dimple she had got from Mattheo became visible.
"Let's go inside mommy," Osiris said, excitement threatening to bubble over.
They walked through the gates and past all the gravestones of the lives lost during the war. Everyone had lost at least one family member to the war and grief had overtaken the wizarding world. In between all the gravestones was a huge statue. Carved out of marble it was Y/N and Mattheo standing right next to each other. It had been made to honour her sacrifice right under which lay Mattheos tomb.
Waving her hand to conjure some flowers she placed them on the grave inscribed,
Mattheo Marvolo Riddle
December 1979 - May 1998
"I will always love you no matter where I am"
They sat down next to it, placing a picnic blanket on the cold grass. Y/N handed Osiris a sandwich as Osiris began to recite every detail of her day to her father.
"Hey daddy, I got my Hogwarts letter! I get to go in September and I'm so excited....."
With that, the story of Y/N and Mattheo Riddle came to a heartbreaking end.
An end in which she became a hero, but at what cost?
