Remus's POV
I hear a scream then two sets of footsteps in opposite directions. Something none of there others know about me is I have a cute hearing, my insomnia has helped me develop that skill. Welp, might as well see what the commotion is about. I turn the corner to see Roman holding my bottle of sleeping pills for my insomnia. "Oh no you don't." In a swift motion I tackle him and grab the bottle from his hand. "Hey! I was going to use-" "I need these!" Several footsteps are running down the hall. Shit! I made too much of a scene.
"Remus! The fuck!?" Virgil yells at me. Oh shit! It looks like I just tackled his boyfriend. I just tackled his boyfriend. He's going to yell at me even more I- He asks in a very monotonous way, "What's happening here?" Then it dawned on me. Through all the panic of Hey that's mine! I didn't realize my brother was trying to kill himself. Was this because of me? Had I taken it too far today? I'm a mons- Roman replies, "Virgil, I'm sorry. I'll just put these back," he takes the sleeping pills out of my hand then puts them back in the cabinet, "and we can go back to normal. Please?" "No."
Virgil walked away and my brother fell to his knees. My brother and I aren't quite in good terms but I knew his boyfriend was one of the things keeping him from going crazy. I just witnessed Roman, the mighty prince, the egotistical maniac, break. Break down and cry. Break down, have silent tears go down his face, and then hear him scream. The worst kind of scream. A scream of pain. Not the physical pain, but the emotional. A shriek of madness, sadness, anger, and regret. A scream almost impossible to fully describe. (
