《Seduce Me》Part 8-Say What Now?

For the next couple of days Lillia and Pierre spend time together doing many things.
They would visit one another's homes and either watch TV or paint. Other times they went out to have lunch or ate at one of the other's homes. Aside from food, TV, and art, they began to do other things together.
Pierre took Lillia dancing at a club he liked and they got their groove on. Boogieing and bumping each other's hips while the crowd looked on in amazement. Lillia brought Pierre to her university and he even participated in one of the foreign student outings. He also donated some money to the university's food bank and other charities.
Eventually Pierre met Lillia's parents after her mother had been away for a few years. Pierre was honored to meet them. Hearing of her father's fate and her mother's compassion moved him. He felt very welcomed and respected by her parents.
During dinner Pierre was being naughty.
"So Mr. Simpson, Lillia never said 'Daddy' until out of the blue?" He asked, teasing her.
Lillia nudged him in the elbow.
"Her mother BEGGED her to say 'Mommy' first."
Pierre laughed hearing the stories of when she was a baby to how her parents kept such jovial lives.
He also was moved to learn how they met as well. Her mother was without a home or work but with her father's aide they managed to find her work and they fell in love. Amazingly, history was repeating itself with Pierre and Lillia.
He'd gone to the grocery store with her and helped purchase enough food to last her until the second month.
The only downside to their trip was the giddy and wide-eyed cashier who kept looking at Pierre like he was some Rock star.
When Lillia noticed he simply took her by the shoulder and they left the store.

Lillia couldn't have been happier during this time, it was like a dream come true.
One day Pierre had made arrangements for them to stay at a hotel for a night while he did a conference. Lillia started to get ready to meet him there when her phone rang. She checked the caller ID and it was Ashley.
"Hi Lillia, are you busy?" Ashley asked.
"I'm leaving in forty-five minutes so I have time to talk."
Lillia slipped on the crochet racer back dress Pierre had bought for her while holding the phone.
"Good. I got some info about Pierre Sommerville."
"Really? What did you learn?"
"Well, he was married and has been divorced for months now."
"Okay. What else did you learn?"
"He's also an actor from Western Europe."
Lillia nearly dropped the phone hearing this revelation.
"He is famous in his homeland of France and the United Kingdom."
"HE IS?"
"Yes but he isn't that well known in other parts of the World, except Canada."
Lillia was speechless by this news, he had lied to her.
"Thanks Ash."
She was beside herself and tried to hold her tears. Literally, this was the worst news ever.
Half an hour later...
She tried not to stay mad and remain calm. How can the man she'd fallen madly in love with do this to her?
She waited for his bodyguard to come in and as always he did.
Lillia followed him to Pierre's hotel room and she knocked on the door.
Pierre smiled and gave her a hug, she tried her hardest not to shove him.
Lillia walked into the hotel room and sat down not too close to where Pierre would be seated.
"I was hoping we could check out the gift shop located downstairs later. Maybe buy your parents something."

Lillia remained silent.
"What's wrong my dear?"
Lillia got up and gave him an indignant look.
"Why didn't you tell me you were famous? That you were a French European actor who starred in movies alongside one of the stars of 'Bonnie and Clyde'?"
She turned her face away from Pierre as he reached out to touch her hand.
"Lillia-"
She snatched her hand away from his touch and turned her face away.
"I don't want to hear it Pierre!"
"Look, the part about the clothing line was true okay?"
"But you lied to me about your actual profession!"
"I can explain-"
"Is this what you do? To deceive the women you're with?"
"Absolutely not! I never-"
"Oh but I'm an exception?"
"I had a reason for doing it! Let's sit down and-"
"NO! I DON'T EVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!"
"LILLIA! LILLIA!"
She stormed out of his hotel room and went home.
Pierre went to the bed and laid down staring at the ceiling. He shouldn't have kept his acting profession a secret from her.
He took out his cellphone and left her a voice message.
"Hi Lillia, I apologize for not telling you I was an actor. I never wanted to confess like this. Listen, I'm staying at the hotel for another few days. I want us to talk."
He hung up the phone and tried to sleep that night without his university girlfriend.

Exuperius [DISCONTINUED]
Terravest. The northernmost continent of the world known by many names of legend, but is most commonly reffered to as Athora, has, for eons, served as the land of exiles. Human criminals, dark elves, grayskinned orcs and dwarves that preffer mining with machinery over the traditional pickaxe alike, have come to call this half-frozen hellhole their home. It is a land of great strife, calamity and crisis, where one legendary tale ends only to begin the next, heroes fall down and villains find themselves thrown into lava. Around seventy years ago, a legendary figure appeared out of seemingly nowhere and conquered three human nations, forming a kingdom worthy enough of being called a small empire. However, at the eve of his heirs ascension, the legend breathed his last, leaving this same bloated, chaotic realm without the pillar that kept it together. Already, the carrion nobility, still spiteful for being denied their "rightful" place below the sun, rise up and gather at the court, each eager to consolidate their own power in these troubled times. Tempers flare, power is exercised without restraint and no one expects the hedonistic prince to succeed at keeping the realm together. Alas, as is often the case with such tales, not everything seems to be as it might at first appear and the vain lords of the realm may yet come to regret their carrion will. --- The Content Warnings are there for a good reason. ---

In Pursuit of Bark's Finest
On the frontiers of transhumanity’s expansion into the galaxy thousands of light years from the light of Sol, things can get rather chaotic. There are countless millions of nascent interstellar nations securing their interests, pirate ships prospering off plunder and deniable mercenary work, dissidents setting up their own civilizations, and other groups all trying to push an agenda. When these groups crash into each other, the results can become extremely messy and convoluted. Recently, a frontier nation calling itself the Red Star Union has found itself at the focal point of one such complication. A freighter under their protection has been sabotaged, hijacked in interstellar space, and robbed of its cargo. This would be bad enough even if all it were carrying was luxury goods, but the freighter Nebula Plow was carrying more than just normal trade goods. Indeed, her cargo of Non-Orientable Wormholes for use in starship power plants was both very expensive and very, very dangerous. Now the Red Star Union has to worry about a pirate crew running around with several extra devices capable of converting matter into antimatter with negligible energy cost. With those, the pirates could be capable of inflicting untold damage if allowed to leverage their ill-gotten gains into a stronger position, a possibility the Union finds completely intolerable. Unfortunately, all that the Red Star Union has to go on for evidence is two names; that of the captain, and that of the ship. The Captain is going by the possible pseudonym of Fuller, while the ship is named Bark’s Finest. And thus the orders came down to the Union’s Bureau of Starforce Intelligence: find more information on these pirates, conclusively identify them, and figure out where exactly they’ve gone to ground so that the fleet can crush them before they get established. Of the many agents that the bureau assigned to this mission, one would happen to play an important role: Field Agent Madeline Zargosty. This is her story. This story is entirely pre-written, and will have one chapter released per week. If you want to read it all ahead of schedule and get access to some premium-exclusive bonus content, the entire book is available for purchase; links to the appropriate storefront pages will be posted at the end of each chapter. This story is also being posted to Scribblehub.

Wrong Side of The Severance
In the waning times of a costly war that spanned several firmaments, one world that was supposed to be cherished by the gods was cast to the wayside, and from everyone’s minds. This world - Berodyl - had flourished under the tender love of the gods for millennia… but no longer. Berodyl stood ready to aid the gods in their strife, but when the time came, the armies of this world never heard the call. They never even saw the battlefield. No. Instead, they found that, once the war had begun, the hierophants no longer heard the whispers of their sacred deities whom they had served so faithfully; only silence now filled the halls of their temples. Some even came from beyond Berodyl’s firmament to take to the sides of those who would fight for the gods. Alas, they soon found themselves stranded in a land abandoned— now, too, abandoned themselves. Now there is but one question weighing down on everyone: can a world such as this - a world once loved, now alone - survive with nought but its own? For an outlander such as Livia, the question seems nearly impossible to answer. The first book of The World The Gods Forgot.
