Lizzie woke up when she felt someone gently shaking her awake. She looked up to see a flight attendant beside her, smiling at her softly.
"I'm sorry to wake you, Miss, but we're getting ready to land."
Lizzie rubbed at her eyes for a moment, smiling sleepily up at the woman. "Thank you." She murmured, watching as she walked away. She yawned softly and stretched her arms over her head, looking out the plane window. It was funny, really. She had told Jared how much she hated flying, but looking at it now, seeing how small everything looked from here; it made her feel like the plane wasn't even there at all. Like she was the one flying.
When the plane finally landed, everyone began to grab their bags and exit the plane. Lizzie grabbed her bag from the compartment above her seat and made her way into the airport, looking around for Olivia. She said she was going to meet her here when she landed. But where was she...?
She was just about to text her and see where she was when she heard a voice call out her name, a voice she never thought would be saying her name.
She lifted her head, her blue eyes meeting hazel ones. There, in front of her, stood Jared Padalecki, holding a bouquet of flowers. Her mouth fell open and she dropped her bag, moving forward.
"Oh my God. Oh my God, oh my God!" She squealed, running to him and practically jumping onto him. Her arms wrapped tightly around his neck and her legs encircled themselves around his waist. It was a good thing he was such a big guy, otherwise he would have tumbled over for sure.
But Jared caught her with ease, burying his face into her neck and squeezing his eyes shut. "Welcome home." He smiled against her skin.

Lizzie buried her hands into his thick brown locks, grinning like an idiot. His hair was just as soft as she thought it would be. She ran her fingers through it gently, loving the feeling of it between her fingers. "I can't believe it." She whispered, feeling tears well into her eyes. "I-I can't believe you're here."
"Me either," Jared smiled, moving his arms underneath her to hold her better. "Lizzie...there's something I have to te-"
Lizzie quickly cut him off by pressing her lips to his, letting her hair fall into her blue eyes. She continued to brush her hands gently through his hair, memorizing his touch, the feel of him, everything.
Jared was surprised to say the least, but that didn't stop him from reciprocating with just as much passion as her. He kept one arm under her as the other came up to wrap around her back, holding her tightly against him.
She pulled away after a minute, resting her forehead on his. She sniffled, smiling brightly at him. "Thank you for coming."
Jared grinned, pecking her lips softly. "Always."
