《Silver》12

Silver's POV
Ethan had been true to his word. After Aiddan had been released from the hospital he had picked us up. It was around 7:30 this morning when that happened. It was now noon and we had been at my house packing for the last few hours. Ashton hadn't come home yet and I couldn't reach him on his cell so I hadn't told him I was moving yet. That is going to be an interesting subject.
"Silver!" I heard Ethan call from the living room. Standing up from the closet in Aiddan's room where I had been packing up his clothes I walked towards his voice.
"Yes?" I asked to pick up Aiddan as he ran up to me.
"How about we go get some lunch?" he asked grinning as he walked up to me.
My heart started to flutter with each step he took towards me. Silently I clutch Aiddan closer to me. "Uhh. Sure. But we still have to load up all the boxes."
"Don't worry about that. I'll have a few of my friends come and grab them. They'll drop them off at my house." he replied coolly as he grabbed a jacket for Aiddan and walked to the door.
"I don't know." I said not liking the thought of strange men touching Aiddan and I's stuff.
"Don't worry." he chuckled deeply. "They won't mess with anything. Just load it into a truck and unload it into my house."
"Fine." I relented after thinking about it for a bit. Then I glared at him playfully, "If anything gets damaged it's all your fault."
"I'll replace it, sweetheart." he laughs before ushering me out the door.
On my way out I grabbed Aiddan's car-seat from my car and headed towards Ethan's Audi R8 Coupe. Opening the back I skillfully set the car-seat in and strap both it and Aiddan in.

"Mommy, where are we going?" Aiddan asked curiously as he took his attention off the action figure he was playing with.
"We are going to go eat lunch, honey." I exclaimed, making him smile.
"Where?"
Before I could answer Ethan opened the driver side door and said "McDonald's?"
"Yay!" Aiddan cheered before going back to playing.
Grinning, I closed the door on Aiddan's side then got into the passenger seat and buckled up.
As Ethan started to pull out of the drive he turned on the radio. Probably because of the slightly awkward silence. But as he turned the volume up I heard the song. It was a rather popular rap song from my childhood. Well, I guess he didn't have it on the radio because this song isn't really on any radio station very often if at all. He must have a playlist playing or something.
"I hope you don't mind." Ethan said gesturing towards the radio. "I enjoy old rap music. But if you don't want to listen to it I can change it."
He said all that in a rush as he focused on driving. Glancing over at me I see that he's blushing slightly. Huh. That's adorable. By the time he was done talking and I stopped staring at him the first chorus was already being sung. Looking Ethan in the eyes, well as much as I could see as he was driving, I started to rap along with the lyrics as best as I could. Though I didn't sound the best, I could keep up with the fast pace of the song.
"Wait. What just happened?" Ethan asked, confused, frowning as he switched his focus from me to the traffic continuously.
"Mommy sang!" Aiddan exclaimed helpfully as I laughed.

"That's right baby." I cooed as I turned in my seat to grab his hand.
"You know old rap?" Ethan demanded, obviously still confused.
"Well duh. I did just rap the song." I laugh, grinning over at him.
"How?" he questioned, turning into the parking lot of a McDonald's.
"How do you know about any rapper?" I countered before smirking and answering his question. "Honestly, my brother was listening to one of his songs when Aiddan was just born. And it put him to sleep almost immediately as Ashton sang it to him. So I checked him out and found out he was a good artist. But I do remember hearing him as a child as well, I just never cared to listen until Aiddan"
"But like, how can you rap so well? You're a chick." he asked like a little kid, losing all hints of his professional manner. I kind of like this side of him.
"I'm Italian. We tend to speak fast. It's not hard to rap." I grinned in amusement as he parked the car and stared at me. "And my being a woman has nothing to do with my abilities to rap well or not."
Wait. Not only can you rap but you are also Italian?" he clarified looking at me in amazement. As I nod he grins. "I'm also Italian. Well part."
"McDonalds!" Aiddan interrupted us and I laughed.
"Let's go eat." Ethan smiled at him as he got out of the car.
Opening my door I stepped out to see Ethan picking Aiddan up and setting him on his shoulders. Both of them are smiling and laughing. Maybe it wouldn't be such a disaster if Ethan posed as Aiddan's dad. He doesn't seem to want to do anything but love him. I just hope it's not all a lie.
