Heather sat on the couch looking up at Naya, and Naya looked back. For the first time there was awkward silence shared between them. Naya played with her fingers but never lost eye contact, and Heather just chipped off the nail polish off her nails with her fingers like they did when they were nervous.
"Well you look beautiful." Heather told Naya finally braking eye contact to look at Naya' s body. "Thanks. You look mesmerizing. How have you been?" Naya asked softly almost whispering. "Lonely, just thinking, thinking with my thoughts. I mean lonely with my thoughts. Just my thou...." Heather said with her head down, her explanation then got cut off by Naya' s hand reaching over to lift her head. Naya and Heather's eyes locked once again. Blue starring up at brown. "Stop rambling I know this is awkward, and weird. In fact I feel like a stranger in my own home." Naya told Heather sincerely. "Oh. Well sorry." Heather apologized. "No. No. Hemo it's not you, it's me. I felt like this all week it's like I need you to feel normal." Naya explained. Heather didn't know what to say she was speechless so Naya continued talking. "Look I regret not going after you that day. I talked to Dianna and she said that that would have been the best opportunity to confess to you something I've kept hidden for quite sometime." "And what is that?" Heather asked curiously. Naya laughed the awkwardness already almost vanishing. "I'll get to that Hemo be patient. So as I was saying that would have been the best time for me to confess something to you, but never did because well Taylor was in the picture. Now though, now I don't care anymore what's going to happen is gonna happen." Naya told Heather while looking her in the eyes, still. "So here I am about to confess this to you. Right now... at this moment... to you, here. In my hous.." Naya was cut off by Heather. "What is it Naya you're rambling on worse than me earlier." Heather screamed getting Naya to focus again and go straight to the point. "Okay sheesh chill. So here I about to confess to you that I Heather Elizabeth Morris I love you." Tears began forming in Heather's eyes. She was crying because it touched her heart that Naya loved her too, but most of all because she knew how hard it is for Naya to talk about her feelings. So she new that if Naya actually did it, it was because she really felt that way. "So.? Hemo please say something." Naya helplessly begged with tears in her eyes. "Naya I love you too. That's the whole reason I came to your house to confess my love to you." Heather said standing up to reach for Naya' s hands. "Look Naya I don't know what we're going to do about Taylor but I do, love you and I'm willing to stand tall through it all." Heather said. "Well how can you not stand tall through it all, you are tall." Naya joked earning a soft slap on the shoulder from the blonde. "I'm being serious silly." Heather laughed. "I know babe I know." Naya said leaning into Heather to give her a kiss. It was the kiss they both had been longing for. The kiss was short, but all their feelings was being poured into it and they felt it. Their hearts were beating fast in their chests.

"You don't know how long I've been wanting to do that again." Naya said when they finally pulled apart. "Me too." Heather smiled breathlessly. "By the way here are you're things the shoes, keys, and your phone are in the purse." Naya said handing Heather her purse. "Hm. Thanks." Heather said.
"So what should we do today?" Heather asked. Naya went back to sit with Heather putting her arm around her. "I don't know you want to invite Lea and Dianna over. I mean we do have to thank them this was all their plan after all." Naya suggested. "Yeah. I guess. Let's leave all the lovey dovey stuff for tomorrow or for the rest of our lives. One more day couldn't hurt." Heather said. "Okay so do we order or shall I do one of my special Rivera Family dishes?" Naya asked with pride. "I say you cook. I miss it." Heather said noticing Naya really wanted to cook. "Okay so you want to go grocery shopping with me or do you want to stay?" Naya asked. "I think I'll stay and clean up this mess you and D made. I'll give them a call too" Heather said. "Okay suit yourself babe." Naya gave Heather a quick peck, exchanged good byes, and then left to the store.
Inside Heather began to wash the dishes of lasagna that Dianna and Naya left last night. There were a few so she finished up quickly and then moved on the make the beds. Dianna and Naya's clothes was all over the place and if Heather didn't know any better she would have thought they had some sex last night. A while later Heather was finally done cleaning and then phoned Dianna. She picked up after the third ring. "Hemo! Why are you calling so early I figured Naya and you would have your wanky going on by now." Dianna spoke. Heather laughed as Dianna used the famous Santana word. "Ha, ha no we decided we'll leave all that for tomorrow. We're gonna have dinner though and thought maybe you guys would want to come. We do owe all this to you guys." Heather explained. "By you guys I'm guessing you mean Lea and me. And of course we'll be there Lea is here with me so we'll carpool over to Naya's in a few. Bye." Dianna said. "Oh and you have to give me all the details later Hemo!" Heather heard Lea scream on the other side. Heather laughed. "Okay. Bye guys." Heather said and then hang up the phone as Naya walked in.

"Who was it babe?" Naya asked as she gave Heather a kiss with a hand full of groceries and another one with roses. "Dianna. Her and Lea will be here in a while, or so they say." Heather informed while analysing the roses. "They smell lovely." Heather said. "Not as great as you." Naya said putting away the groceries she had boughten. "I never thought I'd actually have a chance with you, you know? Especially when you and Taylor announced your engagement." Naya sad leaning over the counter. "Well her I am." Heather gave Naya a big hug. Naya went over to the stove and placed a pan on it filling it with oil. She covered some drumb sticks in bread crumbs and then let them fry in the pan. "Hey Hemo may I ask you something?" Naya finally said. "Anything my love." Heather said waiting for Naya to speak. "When you were at my house the other night you had a nightmare. Do you mind telling me what it was because whatever it was it made you cry." Naya said. "Oh yeah I remember." Heather said looking down. "So?" Naya asked waiting for Heather to speak. "Well see it's things that have been going on with Taylor and I at ho.." Heather's explanation was cut short by Lea's screams
"We're here lesbos." Lea joked causing Naya to roll her eyes. "Ugh why did we invite them again? Anyways we'll talk about this later." Naya said going over to check on the almost done drumb sticks. "I heard what you said about us Naya." Lea said stressing Naya's name. "So? Who said I was keeping it from you? Where's D?" Naya asked Lea faked hurt putting her hand on her chest and then laughed. "I'm right here." Dianna said letting her presence known. "Hey D. Oh and before I forgot what was up with all your clothes in Naya's room both of your underwear were everywhere. If I was somebody else I would have thought you guys had some things last night." Heather said looking at Naya and back up at Dianna. "Who said we didn't." Dianna teased. Naya put the chicken in the skillet to let the oil drip a little. "We didn't." Naya assured Heather. "Lea can you please do your famous vegan spaghetti?" Naya asked Lea. "Sure but what will I get in return?" Lea asked earning a look from Naya "Just kidding I'll do it."Lea said.
About an hour later the food was all done and the girls were setting the table. Getting ready to eat.
