"Hemo what's wrong. Come on talk to me." Naya insisted but Heather kept weeping. "I'll just call Dianna and let them know we aren't coming." Naya informed reaching for her phone but Heather stopped her halfways. At that Naya got Heather's attention "No Nay I'm fine really, well I'm not but I still want to try and have fun. Please let's stay." She pleaded wiping of her tears. "Okay then sweet heart we'll stay, but if you start feeling depressed tell me and we'll go." Naya said and Heather agreed. They locked Naya's truck and went inside. They both scanned the room for Lea and Dianna, until they found them both waving towards them to a middle table next to the dance floor.
"Hey guys Lea." Lea greeted. "Hi Lea, Dianna." Heather responded forcing a smile. Lea automatically noticed Heather's sad eyes but decided to not say anything. "So how about some drinks." Naya said wrapping her arms around Heather; showing comfort. "Lea let's go to the bar and ask for some, come on." Naya said already walking towards the bar. Lea made a confused face towards Dianna and Heather since Naya didn't always, almost never, ask Lea to do anything with her but she followed behind anyways. Leaving Dianna and Heather laughing. As Lea reached the bar she noticed Naya hadn't ordered yet. "Well aren't you going to order?" Lea asked smiling. "Lea the real reason why I asked you to come with me is because I want you to do something for me." Naya informed. "Oh so you just call me when you need something." Lea said faking hurt in her voice but slightly laughing. "Its nothing funny Lea, its Heather. Before we came inside she began crying like big heavy tears," Naya said demonstrating the size of Heather's tears with her fingers. "And I don't know why I was hoping you knew." She added. Lea listened intently and then spoke, "Look Naya I'm not sure but I might have an idea of why, but sorry girl I'm not telling you. Its not my story its Heather's she'll tell you when she's ready, and also because I don't want to betray her friendship like this." Lea explained Naya nodded in understandment. "Who knew Lea Talkative Michele could keep a secret." Naya joked adding a name to Lea's actual name. "Hey I can actually be very discrete. You've just never tried me." Lea said flapping her eyelashes. Naya laughed and finally turned her attention to the bartender and ordered a few whiskey's for everyone.

"Took you long enough. Baby was Naya trying to get at you." Dianna pretended laughing a bit. "I was and guess what I got her to kiss me too." Naya played along but earning a soft smack from Heather causing them all to laugh. "Sorry sweetie I was just playing you know I only want you." Naya said reaching over to hug Heather. "Naya is so whipped." Dianna laughed. "Totally, but so are you D." Lea said. "It's okay though I love you." Lea added and both her and Dianna shared a kiss. "Well we don't want to be seeing this all night long. Let's go dance." Naya told Heather with her drink in hand.
A few minutes later they were joined by Dianna and Lea on the dance floor. Dianna was obviously drunk, and Naya and Heather giggled as they watched Lea struggling to hold her. "This girl is so drunk but she still wanted to come and dance. If she falls and brakes and arm its not my problem." Lea said finally releasing Dianna from her grasp. She had trouble standing but soon pulled through. "Nay I have to go pee come with me." Pink, sweaty Heather spoke.
Naya thought she looked sexy sweaty. Naya followed behind Heather and they both entered the restroom. Heather looked around and checked the stalls until she was sure there was no one around. "Well we're good then." Heather smiled. Before Naya could respond Heather pinned Naya to the door and crashed her lips with hers. Naya quickly responded and pulled Heather's hot body closer to hers deepening the kiss. Heather trailed down to Naya's neck and nibbled on it earning a soft moan from the brunette. Heather smile into Naya's neck. Naya then slid her hand under Heather's shirt and reached for her breasts giving them a light squeeze. This time it was Heather who moaned. Heather let her arms roam Naya's body reaching for her breast also, but was then interrupted by a pushing of the door. They stopped what they were doing and decided to act normal. They walked away from the entrance. A few woman walked in and both Heather and Naya gave their apologies, for blocking the door way.

They walked back to their booth and searched for Dianna and Lea at the dance floor but couldn't find them. Heather decided to take out her phone and noticed there an unread message from Lea and opened it.
D was too drunk we had to head how. See you tomorrow.
"They left Dianna was too drunk." Heather informed Naya. "We should get going too." Naya said finishing up her drink. They got into the car and drove to Naya's in comfortable silence.
When they arrived Naya turned off the car and unbuckled herself. She looked over to Heather noticing the girl was asleep and smiled. She got out the car and unlocked the door to the house leaving it open. She went back to the car and got Heather out in her arms taking her inside. She shut the door behind her and then carried Heather upstairs and onto the bed. She changed Heather and herself into something comfortable, and finally adjusted themselves in the bed. She hugged Heather and she too fell asleep.

Warhammer 40,000: Mind over Matter
Set in the Warhammer 40k universe, but accessible to those unfamiliar with the setting. The Imperium of Man has been fighting the Long War for ten thousand years. It is a war fought simultaneously across thousands of stars and against innumerable enemies. On smoke-filled battlefields and in the cold emptiness of the void the military might of the Imperium stands strong in the face of horrifying foes. It is not a war fought to conquer new lands, or to seize the wealth of enemy nations. It is a war fought to hold what they have, or to regain what they have already lost. The world of Nova Iberia is far from that war and supports the Imperium by sending her finest sons to foreign stars to fight and die as elite commandos in the Imperial Guard. A chance discovery on the corpse of one of these commandos has cast doubts around the world's loyalty, and has drawn the attention of the Imperial Inquisition. The seekers of the Alien, the Heretic and the Daemon have descended upon this peaceful world, and they will not leave it intact. Primaris Psyker Amelia Lafayette was a ward of the state, now bound as an acolyte to the Inquisition in recognition of her telepathic gifts. Inexperienced, and browbeaten by her training, she must adapt to her new circumstances or fall. If she can navigate the tangled webs of heresy, and survive life in the Inquisition, then she may find the opportunity to prove herself worthy of greater authority.

Author here, just wanted to say that if the synopsis did not sound as exciting as I had hoped it would be, try reading the first 10 chapters? I promise it won't be terrible! :) Whoops, forgot to mention, prologues don't count as chapters! If you've read this far, I might as well tell you what I was inspired by! However, this does NOT mean my story will be similiar in any way to the novels/stories/books listed below. By 'inspiration,' I refer to mainly how the characterizations plot devices, dialogue, conflict introduction/resolution, and thought processes are used and introduced in those works of literature. But in a way, you can interpret this list as, "if the author read and was inspired by these novels, then it's possible that we share similiar tastes, so I'll give this story a try." :) -Those Who Aspired to Become Gods: A darker fairy tale novel (My all-time fantasy favorite despite it being unfinished) -Forgotten Conqueror (Second all-time fantasy favorite) -Brandon Sanderson's The Reckoning trilogy (Third all-time fantasy favorite) -Kel Kade's 'King's Dark Tidings' -Brent Week's Night Angel saga -Red Rising trilogy -Infinite Realm: Monsters & Legends -Reborn: Apocalypse -Reborn: Evolving From Nothing -48 Hours a Day -The New World -Creep -Arrogant Young Master Template A Variation 4 -Can't Cure Deceit -Super Minion -Unparalleled -Unbound -Wake of the Ravager -Overgeared -Solo Leveling -The Tutorial Is Too Hard [email protected] -God of Money -A Snake's Life -The Snake Report -The Tower of God -UnOrdinary -Release that Witch!
