Realize Chapter 21

I still kept on thinking what Mackenzie and Maximilian said.
'All we can say is, see in the future Mom!'
Mom? I'm their mother?
"*giggles* Olive, do you by any chance know how Enoch saved you from freezing?" Lolite said once I stepped into her room. Claire and Bronwyn is there too.
I smiled. "Yeah. Enoch defeated the wight, then saved me from freezing someway........I don't know....." I said, trailing off at 'I don't know'.
The three of them said in unison, "Ask Enoch!!!"
I suddenly became both curious and confused.
Hmm.....I guess I'll have to ask Enoch.

*knock knock*
Someone knocked on my door. I groaned. Whoever this is, they're lucky I'm not as rude as before...but not entirely.
"Who is it?!?" I yelled/asked, making sure the person heard me. "It's me! Olive!" Olive shouted right back.
My heart started to beat so fast at the sound of her voice. "Come in!" I shouted right back. I heard her open the door, then close it afterwards.
"Enoch, I got something to ask you."
I immediately became nervous.
Does she remember everything? Will she hate me after this?
I mentally started to panic. "And that is?" I managed to keep my monotone voice. Olive bit her lip, fidget her fingers, and almost jump up and down. I can tell she's keeping her excitement in her.
"Well....how did you rescue me?" The pyromancer, , asked. Curiosity is clearly seen in her eyes.
I felt myself became flustered. I don't if I should tell her. But then, I remembered Mackenzie's reminder.
'You'll confess to mom how you saved her this very day, you better make sure that happens'
I guess I have no choice then, huh?
"W-well....um....you see...." I muttered, not knowing what to say.
Olive giggled. My blush darkened.
"Why don't we use dolls and you reincarnate the dolls and make the doll replay what happened." Olive suggested. I guess it could work.
So, we borrowed dolls (stuffed not plastic) from Claire. One is an elephant, one girl with red hair, one boy with untamed curls and one man wearing a tuxedo. We sat on the bed. Then, I started my work.
I placed hearts on their chests, then whispered a command. Just then, they all started moving.
The elephant laid there, looking lifeless. The doll acting as me lays there too, acting unconscious. Doll-Olive is on her knees, the doll-wight freezing her.
The doll-Enoch started to stand up, seeing what's happening to doll-Olive, he/it pulled a heart out of his pocket. Then, he/it placed the heart on the elephant.
The elephant walked towards the wight, and when it was above the wight, it dropped itself. I saw doll-Enoch ran towards doll-Olive. He/it cried, think doll-Olive is dead.

"I'm sorry Olive. I was so used to you being there, that I didn't even realized my own feelings. Even though it was just a second ago that I saw your smile, I miss it already. The way your eyes sparkle. The way it'll light up the whole world. I miss it. I'm sorry... I never realized..."
I spoke for doll-Enoch. Then, he/it leaned in and kiss doll-Olive, just like what I did before. Doll-Olive's eyes flutter open.
"You never realized what?"
I immediately looked at her. Only to see that Olive is blushing. I smiled.
Then, silence filled the room. After a few minutes, I decided to break it.
"Can I tell you something?" I ask the pyromancer in front of me. She looked at me curiously and said, "Sure." I smiled.
I grabbed her hands, she blushed dark red. Then, I started to sing.
"Take time to realize,
That your warmth is crashing down on in.
Take time to realize,
That I am on your side.
Didn't I, didn't I tell you?
But I can't spell it out for you.
No, it's never gonna be that simple.
No, I can't spell it out for you.
If you just realize what I just realized,
Then we'd be perfect for each other,
And we'll never find another.
Just realize what I just realized.
We'd never have to wonder if
We missed out on each other now.
Take time to realize.
Oh-oh, I'm on your side.
Didn't I, didn't I tell you?
Take time to realize
This all can pass you by.
Didn't I tell you?
But I can't spell it out for you.
No, it's never gonna be that simple.
No, I can't spell it out for you.
If you just realize what I just realized
Then we'd be perfect for each other,
And we'll never find another.
Just realize what I just realized.
We'd never have to wonder if
We missed out on each other but...
It's not the same,
No, it's never the same
If you don't feel it too.
If you meet me halfway,
If you would meet me halfway,
It could be the same for you.
If you just realize what I just realized
Then we'd be perfect for each other,
And we'll never find another.
Just realize what I just realized.
We'd never have to wonder.
Just realize what I just realized.
If you just realize what I just realized.
Oh.
Missed out on each other now.
Missed out on each other now, yeah.
Realize.
Realize.
Realize.
Realize."
I smiled sadly to myself. Is she going to accept the fact that I'm in love with her? Is she-
My thoughts were cut off by something wrapped around my neck. It's Olive's arms. She's hugging me.
"I've been waiting for you to say that."
I internally melt at her words. Olive waited for me to say that. I was worried for nothing. Good thing I followed Mackenzie's reminder.

Thank you Mackenzie.
"Does this mean we're officially together?" I asked, I don't want to push her into anything she doesn't want to.
Olive pulled back from the hug. Then, she kissed me. I kissed back, happy that she accepts me.
"Yes."
~ Year 2018 ~

It's been 2 years ever since Enoch confessed to me. I felt my heart race just because of the thought. But, he's being distant to me this week. Enoch talks to the others more, more than he does to me. Me! His girlfriend!
"Olive....um....Enoch wants you to go somewhere and meet him..." Lolite said, interrupting my thoughts..
Lead the way, Lolite.
I said in my head, knowing that she's hearing my thoughts. Lolite nodded in response.
« Time Skip »
So...here I am. Reading a note from Enoch. It says,
'Olive, I know that I've distant,
But follow these clues and I'll make it up to you in an instant.
Go to the place where we had our first date,
You'll see Claire, Bronwyn and Lolite. They hold the next clue that I got for you.'
Ok...if Enoch is gonna make it up to me, then I guess I'll follow these rules.
I went to the house that no one owns. Not in this loop anyways. It may look like it's old for you, but it actually looks a lot like in the future (2018) once you get inside.
There's Claire, Bronwyn and Lolite, standing behind a table. Lolite is holding another note. It says,
'Wear this dress and shoes I bought just for you.
Don't worry, you're going to look beautiful in it.
Go with Claire, Bronwyn, and Lolite and find the next clue,
This time, go to where we watch the sun set.
See Fiona, Hugh, Millard, and Horace with your next clue.'
I looked at the three girls, only to see them holding a dress. I think that's the dress Enoch is talking about.
The dress is color orange. And its top half has an embroidery that looks like flowers and vines. The shoes that has flowers at the front and pearls as it's lace, wrapping around the ankle.
It looks so beautiful. I decided to follow Enoch's words and wear the dress.
"Want to come with me?" The three answered with excited nods. I smiled. Then we headed for the seaside.
Just when we arrived at the seaside, we saw an unhappy Millard, and playing Hugh and Fiona.
"Hey guys!" Lolite exclaimed. And at the sound of her voice, Millard was suddenly cheered up and was bubbly.
Aww...how cute...
Fiona handed me a note. The next clue. It says,
'Wear these shoes to go along with the dress. If you're wondering why I'm making you dress up, it's because we'll take a picture together later. So, please wear this.
Go to the place where we trained together. Make our peculiarity under our control. Where we train, go there.'
I looked at them. I saw the shoes on Millard's hands. The shoes has flowers in front of it. Its color is white. And it has pearls as its lace and it wraps around the ankles.
When we got to the hill where Enoch and me train our peculiarity, we saw Emma, Jacob, Victor, and Horace.
Emma smiled brightly at me when we arrived. Then, she gave me the note. It says,
'This is the last note.
Wear this crown/tiara.
You're gonna be my princess, and I'm your prince.
Next, go to our favorite place. The lace where we always go to. You'll find me there.
I'm waiting for you, My Princess.'
When I looked back up, my eyes saw a sparkly tiara. It was silver and it has red flowers as its design.
Emma brushed my hair, then she placed the tiara on top of my head. I looked at everyone. Then, my eyes landed on Jacob. Jake caught me staring, then said,
"Trust me, we'll need this." He held up a device that I remember as a camera called DSLR. Then, we headed for my prince.
When we arrived, I saw Enoch patiently waiting for us. He's neatly dressed in a prince-like attire.
I noticed that Miss Peregrine is also here. She said, 'I wouldn't miss this moment'. Whatever that means.
Enoch smiled brightly a me. I smiled back. "Let's take that picture now, shall we?" Enoch said.
"Wait.....tell me the reason why we're here first." I commanded, but it sounded more like a whine. Enoch smiled, but this smile has mischievous hidden in it.
I mumbled a 'Fine'.
Jake pointed the camera at us. Enoch said we will just look at each other, while Jacob take the picture. We smiled at each other. Enoch holds my right hand with his left hand, while he kept his right one inside his pocket, holding something.
Just when Jake was about to take the picture...
Enoch knelt to the ground...
Took out his hand from his pocket...
Then muttered these words...
I internally squealed. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The man I love. My boyfriend. Enoch O'Connor. Asked me to marry him. I don't think to think twice, I know my answer already.
