《More Than You Realize》Chapter 25: Never Trust A Villain

Alex's staff hit the ground many times. His wings folded down, and his expression gave away every emotion he was feeling right now. I couldn't help but laugh at the useless kid.
"That's right. You, now, understand you're mistake in trying to take me down. All you did was make me stronger. Great job, Alex. You're a wonderful traitor!" Ty exclaimed happily as he clapped his hands sarcastically. I couldn't help but laugh at his sarcasm.
"Wh-how! How can you feed off someone's anger like that!" Alex yelled in disbelief. Ty let out a low chuckle.
"I wouldn't expect someone like you to understand, Alex. This is advanced magic. You wouldn't know if such a thing," Ty taunted. Alex let out a growl.
"Shut it, Tyler! We will defeat you, and we will get Sabre back!" Galaxy Steve proclaimed.
I flinched when he said my name. 'Get me back? What's that suppose to mean? Who betrays someone, then want them back on their side?' This group I once knew are crazy. I should've left a long time ago.
'BUT THIS IS ME!'
'That's just what you wanna believe!'
I kept having this internal debate in my head. This more demonic side kept winning. It kept putting the purer side down.
"Get Sabre back? He doesn't want to go back! You guys did him wrong, and it's time you realize your misdeeds," Ty said before holding his hand out. A red ball of energy formed at the palm of his hand.
"No... Don't do this!" Rainbow Steve exclaimed frantically looking in my direction. I smirked. "Don't let him do this, Sabre. You're our friend..."
"Friend? I'm NOT your friend, Rainbow Steve. Not after what you did to me," I replied. Ty laughed evilly.
Rainbow Steve broke down in tears. Honestly, it was really pathetic. Galaxy Steve tried to comfort him, but it didn't seem to help him at all. The others sent glares my way, which only made me smirk more.
"Pathetic..." I mumbled. Everyone heard it, though, and that only made Rainbow Steve cry some more.
Void Steve explained walking towards me. I didn't move. I stood there with my smirk still on my face.
"Ty is not lying to me. You guys are the ones that are lying!" I exclaimed tossing my hand out to the side. A wave of energy left my hand, and launched itself at the others.
They all went to the ground to avoid the attack. I didn't even mean to do that, but it felt great! I felt my smirk grow bigger and bigger as I realized what I did. The others stared at me worryingly.
"Sabre... this power is to big for you to handle. Let us help you..." Mary said as she, slowly, neared me. I growled, making her stop in her tracks.
"Help me? You won't help me! You'll try to take my powers away! Keep them for your own!" I proclaimed. Mary's scared figure, suddenly, turned to anger. Honestly, I flinched from this change.
"You really think I would keep your powers?! For one, I don't even know how to do that! Secondly, how dare you think that! I thought we were friends! Sabre Favre! You better realize what Ty did to you!" Mary yelled before turning her back to me. 'Why does this hurt?'

No one spoke as she made her way back to the group, her loose strands of hair flowing behind her. Her wings were extended to their fullest, showing she wasn't scared, worried, or anything along the lines.
"Ty... let's go. I'm done here," I said turning my own back to the group. Multiple shouts to come back and don't go came from the group. Ty just nodded his head, and, with a flash, we were gone.
Ty and I stood in silence for a moment after we appeared in the main room at Ty's palace.
"I'm going to my room," I said before walking away. However, I wasn't able to. Ty grabbed my arm and kept me where I was.
"Not yet," he said firmly. I growled a little bit, but it didn't faze him in the slightest. He threw to the side, which just happened to be where a machine was. The machine closed with me inside.
"Hey! Let me out!" I yelled banging on the glass door. It should've broke with ease, but it was like I was in adventure mode right now. It didn't even begin to break. "Let me out, Ty!"
"Go ahead, Sabre. Let your anger go," Ty said with a smirk. My eyes went wide, and I snapped back to reality.
Everything Ty said was a lie. Why did I give in like that?! I'm such an idiot!
"It seems like you've finally realized your mistake, Sabre," Ty said before pressing a button on the machine.
"No!" I yelled still trying to break out. I didn't see anything enter the machine, but I began to feel anger towards my friends once again. "No... don't... believe him... ugh..."
My knees have out beneath me. I collapsed to the ground, but I didn't faint. No, I was still wide awake. I was still fighting against whatever he did to me.
"Give in, Sabre," Ty said as he trailed his hand along the glass door. I looked into his black eyes, and all they showed was a lust for power.
I couldn't respond. I was too weak to do that. I think Ty knew this as well.
I felt myself slip away from the pain I was receiving. Should I be happy about this pain leaving, or did it mean something I should be worried about? I don't know! That thought bugs me!
"Bye-bye, Sabre Favre," Ty said before walking away from the machine. I tried calling out for him to stop and let me out of this thing once again, but I couldn't get anything out.
No fluid was left in my body after Sabre and Ty left. I had cried until I could no more. My knees dug into the middle of my chest, putting quite a bit of pressure on my lungs. It didn't hurt, though.
"Jake? Are you ready?" Rainbow Steve asked poking his head in the room. His rainbow like hair waved with his hair. I sighed and nodded my head lazily.
We decided to face Ty and Sabre head on. If we keep waiting for them to attack, we'll be giving them too much time to get power. I wasn't to thrilled about the situation.

"Come on, Jake. Let's go!" Galaxy Steve exclaimed as I walked into the main room. Everyone laughed at his enthusiasm. Everyone but me.
We all stepped outside and walked a bit aways from our cozy little wooden home. My heart began pounding out of my chest. Every beat made my breathing hitch before it returned to normal, but only for a moment.
'What the-WHO ARE YOU?!'
'Sabre?!'
I stopped walking, making the others stop as well. Each one took their turns raising an eyebrow.
"Jake? What's wrong?" Alex asked walking closer to me. I didn't answer. I was too focused on Sabre's voice in my head.
'Sabre! Don't worry! We're on our way there as we speak!'
'Right... sorry. We are on our way.'
"Guys! We have to go, now! Sabre is in trouble!" I yelled.
"Telepathy?" Rainbow Steve asked confusingly. I just nodded my head. "Weird... he always contacts me."
Void Steve questioned. We all stood quiet. Maybe he was right? Why contact me instead of the one he normally does?
"Let's go and find out," I said narrowing my eyes at absolute nothing. Everyone nodded their heads in agreement.
I stood next to Void Steve, Mary stood next to Alex, and Rainbow Steve stood next to Galaxy Steve. Then, Void and Galaxy Steve and Alex teleported to Tyler's place.
His palace looked even scarier now than it did before. It seemed more... evil. I gulped down the fear that got caught in my throat, allowing me to breath once again.
"Come on. We shouldn't waste time," Rainbow Steve said running into the building.
"ano See!" we all yelled quietly. I facepalmed.
"Come on. Let's follow him before he gets himself into trouble," I said running after the rainbow haired Steve.
Welp... we really should've planned for everything that could've gone wrong. That list would include us getting separated from each other. I'm all alone right now. The hallways were empty, luckily, but it didn't help the fact I'm alone.
"Maybe... we should've made sure we were all together before I ran off. Who knows where I came from," I said to myself. When I stayed here, I just stayed in a section of the building. I've never seen this area before.
"Yes... you really should've..." a voice said softly. It wasn't all too familiar.
"Hey! Who's there?" I questioned into the empty hallway. A dark chuckle came to my response. "Show yourself!"
"Oh, Jake. I'm right behind you, fool," it said softly, the dark laugh dying out. I, quickly, turned my body to face the voice. I growled.
"Hahah, very funny. For real, where are you," I said annoyingly. That same dark laugh erupted in the hall once again.
"Behind you..." I heard it whisper into my ear. I turned around to see nothing. Am I losing my mind? "Nope... you're not losing your mind."
"Show yourself! Who are you?!" I exclaimed as I continued to look around for the voice.
"Now... why would I do that? This is more fun," the voice chuckled from up above. No matter where I looked, I couldn't seem to find the strange voice.
"This is not fun! You're just hiding!" I proclaimed bravely. If this was some being with magical powers, I shouldn't anger him at all.
"Hmm... watch yourself, Jake Favre. Your opponent could be someone unexpected," it said quietly. I growled and turned to face the voice, once again. This time, I was able to see who was speaking, and my heart dropped.
"S-Sabre... should've known something was up when you contacted me and not Rainbow Steve," I said pulling a dark sword out of nowhere. 'That's new...'
"Maybe... but you didn't," he said walking closer to me. Something was off about him. He didn't seem like himself... or even his "new self."
"This isn't you, Sabre. I know you're being controlled right now, I can see it! Please... fight it..." I pleaded backing away from the approaching Sabre. He stopped, and closed his eyes shut. His perfect posture changed as he seemed to be in pain.
"N-no! Leave me... ALONE!" he yelled clutching his hair. I felt really bad.
"Sabre... come on! You can do it!" I yelled running over to help my brother. He glared at me, but it instantly faded in a flash of yellow before it flashed red once again.
"Stop it! Stop talking you fool!" he yelled backing away from me.
"Sabre... you're my brother. I will never stop trying to get you to come back," I said seriously. He stared into my eyes, and I could see the insanity that clouded his eyes. He growled.
"NO!" he yelled before disappearing into thin air. I was breathing heavily, recapping what I just witnessed.
"Jake! There you are!" a voice called out happily. I flinched a little, not expecting anyone to be calling out to me.
"Rainbow Steve?" I asked turning around slightly. "AH!"
I got tackled into a hug by the rainbow haired Steve. I couldn't help but laugh a little bit as he clutched onto me. I stroked some of his hair, giving him the comfort he needed.
Void Steve laughed as our little group came up to us. I shrugged my shoulders.
"I don't really know. I've never been in this part of the building before. I always stayed up front, with Ty," I responded. He shook his head.
"Come on... let's go and save Sabre!" Galaxy Steve exclaimed happily. Everyone laughed as we made our way done the laugh-filled hallways.
"You're becoming stronger. You're breaking free from my control. Curse you, Jake," Ty mumbled angrily. I couldn't say anything. I was too busy keeping this control away from me.
My body was shaking. I could feel so much pain from the thing he's using to try and control me. My eyes hurt so much from the constant change of color.
Ty smirked down to me, making a pit fork in my stomach... or maybe that was just part of me fighting.
"Don't worry, Sabre. It'll all be over soon enough..." Ty said before letting his evil laughter carry through the building.

Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5. Read his fanfiction as well if you can, its name is "Force user supplementary system", he published it in webnovel. Two Existentialists | S.R.
"How many existentialists does it take to screw a lightbulb?" Spencer asked with a small laugh. Once again the room was silent. You faintly heard Agent Rossi mutter, "Don't.""2. One to change the light bulb and one to observe how it symbolizes an incandescent beacon of subjectivity in a netherworld of cosmic nothingness," he said. The room was silent still, until you laughed. His eyes looked up at yours in confusion. "Wouldn't they sit in the dark and hope that the bulb decided to light again? An existentialist would never change the bulb. He would allow the darkness to exist," you questioned.-#1 #spencerreid#1 #mgg#1 emilyprentiss
